ps. my heart is bleeding as i type this cuz I am so sure I will NEVER going to be able to afford a SDgr Una... maybe I should just wait for Volks to add SDgrG body to their FCS system...

They look very similar to the F01...or I'm just being stupid [if so forgive] >_<
I love their outfits and default wigs ! I've accepted the fact that I'll never be able to get an SDgrG body...

 

I think [correct me if I am wrong] Una is the white skin version of 4 sister.
The first Una I've seen is a white skin yo tenshi kira whom Volks call Una.

um... well a white F01 can be ordered FCS right? so the unique part here is the body, as that is not fcs yet.
So in time there would be hope of that exact combo (though not for me as I prefer the regular body)

 

Pretty much yeah- she's JUST a Megu/4 Sisiters in white skin on the fancy new body. It's nothing that with patience, couldn't be cobbled together from other releases/FCS.

But if the SDGr girl and boy bodies are still coming out as limited editions, it makes me doubt Volks will be adding it to the FCS anytime soon.

 

una's mouth is different from the four sister and F-01~

 

It has been mentioned in the Volks threads that Volks has been redoing the molds for the new SDGr bodies, like Jun and Nono. And that has been confirmed that those two molds were new molds based on the old ones made specifically for the new body. That being said, does anyone think that Una is a new take on the Four sister mold to fit the new body or do you think Una is just the same four sister mold on the SDgr body?
I also ask this since I have heard that SDgr Alice/Lorina has a huge head compared to other SD-10/13 dolls.

 

I actually think Una is just F01 modded to fit SDgrG body. Somehow, just by looking at the pictures of both versions, the neck size seems a bit thick. But then of course, the mold may be a re-make to fit SDgrG body. I am sure there will be small differences between SDgrG Una and regular 4 sister head, but the overall is still the same.. I think..

I love Una's face-up and outfit set. And a white-skin SDgrG 4 sister is the top of my wishlist. But with the current conversion rate, I can't afford Una. Maybe when someday Volks decide to add SDgrG body to FCS, I will have my dream girl.....

 

Im with you on the conversion rate. Not to mention SDgr Una is going to be released in such a limited amounts and Sato only. Unless you can fly to Japan, your only option is YJ. I really love Una but I do have a ws F-03 mod and I could always do a ws F-01 FCS. I would love the SDgr body but Volks needs to release her here if any of us in the US stand a chance of bringing her home. Like everyone else I am still praying for the SDgr body to be available via FCS. Volks always makes someone I want so there is no shortage there. It just comes down to availability.
Now the F-01 mold is a huge head but I dont have Lorina/Alice to compare head sizes. I have a ns F-01 and a ws F-03 mod but no SDgr body to put it on. Someone has to have both to see how they look then we can compare Una's photo.
I wanted to add the swd version is definitely different than the SD version, the mouth is more open. The open eyed version looks really close to the SD version so I am sure people would be just as happy with the SD FCS version.

There are three versions of Una.
OE, SwD and Cool Kyoto.
Cool Kyoto Una has a different outfit all together.

I absolutely love the new Unas! I especially love the SWD version~

 

These new Unas both look so cute. I´d love to have the open-eyed one, but I don´t think I´ll have so much money this year^^.

 

Please to note! Una is on a new ASEXUAL angel SDGr body. So she is very unique. And Sweet Dream Una is on a one piece "Origin" torso version.

Una is really pretty. Ever since the SDGr body was first released, I have been wishing for a WS four sisters on that body (and patiently waiting...). I don't think I can get Una (I don't understand how these events work T_T), but I really enjoy seeing this combination! I hope SDGr body comes to FCS soon =0= hehe .

BUT I'm in TOTAL love with the MSD F-29 head, omiiigooshhh. Gonna need a little one of those girls to come home with me .

 

Sounds like she would have a very small to flat bust. Hopefully they will release nude pics.

Assuming you are in Japan and are a VS or VIP member, when there is a Pre-Order you just go to the event, wait in-line to get your lottery #, and when the doll sells out before your lottery # you keep waiting and pre-order. I did that in 2007 with the Yuki/Yuh Pre-order. It's really nice when Volks offers a pre-order and you are in Japan and can attend the event.

 

Oh! I live in Japan but I'm not a VS/VIP member. I couldn't understand all the terms of membership so it was hard for me to sign up... now I really want to give it another try (><). I would love to pre-order, hehe!

 

I'm not sure with VIP since I couldn't get a credit card in Japan but with VS, you pay Volks ~1200 yen and it gives you membership. There really aren't terms and conditions, per se they just want you having a "permanent" address in Japan. Aka not a hotel you are staying at for 1 month. I use to use a JET friend's address. You can sign up at any Volks branch. I would DEFINITELY do it if you want this doll!

No problem. But yeah, you can get VS membership at any Volks store. You might need to show your alien registration card or some proof that you have a residence in Japan vs being a tourist. It's pretty straightforward. I believe you also automatically get it when you order a FCS/Sato FCS, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I just always paid my 1200 or so yen. The other plus of VS membership is you can still collect points on credit card purchases at Volks, without VS/VIP membership, you only get points for cash purchases.

Sato events can be super crowded or just not that bad, it really varies. Pre-orders tend to make them less insane. From the previous link, it looks like the event is 9/22 and they will start giving out #s at 9:00 am. People will of course have lined up loooooooooong before then. In the picture they are showing a Japanese passport for Identification, but assuming you are living in Japan I am sure your Alien Registration would work as well. I've never seen them check IDs though, just VS/VIP membership.

 

Is there any information which heads are coming to Sumika?

 

I would do anything to get Una, she is so pretty!

F-26 looks very interesting to me, not like I could get another FCS, but something for me to think about later on.

 

F28 looks a bit like a dreaming version of MSD F04 - if not I wonder if there will be an open eye version of F28 I love the lips and the general happy face on that one! Don't want any more dreaming dolls.

MSD F29 definately has switchable ears.

 

Per the Tenshi-no-Sumika Fair 2012 website, new Sumika heads are as follows:
SD: F-26, F-38, F-51
MSD: F-24, F-28

Sumika FCS is also adding five pairs of SD13 boy hands (the ones that recently got added to Sato FCS), and new "Twinkle Sailor Series" welcoming outfits.

 

F-38 is finally going to be available at all Sumikas? Lots of folks will be happy about that! Glad to see that the new boy hands will be slightly more obtainable too.
Still no mention of the Graffiti girl body being added to any FCS though? Is this it for the fall FCS announcements?

 

I wish one day, they can add SD17 body to FCS... (I know I am dreaming... orz)

 

It also says on 9/30 they are discontinuing MSD-F-16, MSD-F-17, SD-F-19, SD-24 (Link type), SD-F-25 from all Sumika locations.
SD F-51 is Kun Sweet Dream ver.
MSD F-28 is Mire Sweet Dream ver.
Sato only SD F-52 is F-35 Sweet Dream ver.
There is no information about new bodies being added to FCS, and no change to the ‘Menu’ area that has the pricing information (both Sato and Sumika). Maybe next year…. ;o;

I guess it maybe the faceup, but F-26 seems different to me in the pics. The eyes look a little more open, and the mouth a little wider, again could be just the faceup, but I honestly almost didn't recognize it at first. MSD-F-29 is so wonderful looking, really one of the most exciting FCS molds I've seen from them for MSD in a long while. I may actuall be interested in doing an FCS for MSD now with the addition of this mold. I am super curious about SDGr Angel body, the others have been really beautiful, though I am not really holding my breath on photos of what that entails before the order period.

 

The msd f29 does look like it's modeling new human ears. Is it just me or does she look like a msd yayoi?

 

GRRRR!!! I am SO angry about the discontinued MSD F-16! She was one of my favorite heads! And now sh'es just another freakin' heartbreak compliments of Volks. I'm sick of them.

 

I thought they are only discontinuing MSD F-16 from Sumika locations? Meaning you can still buy her from Sato?

 

I thought Yayoi right away. I love her as a yo. But I know people who will be thrilled that she is msd sized.

So if it says all Sumika's that means the F-26 will be available at Volks LA's Sumika right? Yikes, totally thrilled. Although it will be a while before I can do an FCS for her.

 

Volks is hardly the only company to discontinue selling dolls and considering that they have a bigger selection than most it is understandable that they stop selling ones that aren't popular to make room for new models. If you are so sick of them then don't buy from them. Please stop coming into these threads and bad mouthing Volks. It ruins the excitement the rest of us have about the new releases.

And the new MSD F-29 and both of the SD heads are just beautiful. I cannot wait to see what people do with them. And I am pretending that I cannot see either Una because the aftermarket price scares me lol.

 

I can kinda see Yayoi in the MSD F-29, but I think this sculpt is much more boyish, and I think that is the way they are presenting him too. I kinda wish that we had a working database of the FCS choices again, because the numbers get a little wacky after a while, when the closest thing we have is Angelden to go off of which is getting more and more inaccurate as time goes by with the many changes that Volks has been going through every few months. Sigh, oh well Volks releases never cease to excite with all their wonderful art on display.

 

Ah, shame they appear not to be adding any new body options to the FCS. I'd love to see the SDgrG body added! I used to own a YoSD Chika and I loved the feel of the resin, but not so much the posability (or my perceived lack of it, rather). So I just couldn't settle for an SD13 body.

The SDgrG body, however... seems quite nice! I'd love to have a SDGrG F-38~!

Ah well, we can dream right? Good for my wallet that Volks didn't add any bodies, yup yup.

As for them discontinuing sculpts, it's kind of a shame. I always feel sad when doll companies do that (looking at you, Souldoll). But maybe they'll be available at the other locations still?

 

I hope they release pictures of these new SDGr bodies! And gosh, what I wouldn't do for Una's outfit and shoes!

 

I agree sometimes people take fcs for granted and assume sculpts will always be there and get upset when it they get discontinued.

Sometimes the search for the second hand doll adds to the thrill when one finally finds it.

I like both of the msd 16 &17 discontinued sculpts but I can see how they need to discontinue some sculpts and introduce new sculpts more in keeping with current trends.

On a separate note I'm seeing some nice possibilities with the msd f29. Glad to see Volks adding to their msd line for a change.

 

A Sweet Dreams Kun mold?! Oh Lord, I think I may have to plan on bringing back my character who used this sculpt. I'm one of those people that love getting both closed and open eyed versions of a doll.

I'm also a little disappointed that there isn't a SDGrG addition to the Sumika lineup, since VolksUSA has the sculpt and skintone that I want. Just not the body. Oh well, at least I can still save up the money if they do decide to release the SDGrG body next year.

I think if people want to see the Graffiti bodies added to the Los Angeles Sumika, then it's a good idea to email VolksUSA with your request. The staff and manager do listen and pay attention to what customers want, which is why I think that Los Angeles and Kyoto (Sato) are the only two places where sunlight skin is available for FCS.

The MSD F28 is so cute.. I can't wait to see more of her. I just love sleeping MSD's and the little smile of hers is so cute!

Mainly, I am VERY excited for the DD's. I wonder if 05 will be Japan only? And the price looks like it may be a pre-makeup head, right? I really, really need her
