Hybrids Volks msd head on a smaller 1/3 girl body?

I looked up Volks msd hybrid and found a lot of old posts you can go through.

@QuietYurei I remember getting into this idea when I wanted to get a Doll Chateau body, because they're made for smaller heads. This thread has some Volks but it's ancient and a lot of the images are gone.

 

Do you have an idea of what body you may want to hybridize?

 

When you say smaller, do you mean slimmer, like the Dream Valley B56-01, or a shorter body?
Volks 1/3 girls are already some of the shortest 1/3 girls out there with dolls trending taller and the 60cm girl size being very common – SD10 girls sit at about 54cm.

Another consideration for this potential hybrid is the vast majority of Volks mini heads are very child-like in appearance with large eyes (average of 16mm, some even take 18mm).
The average 7-8 wig size head of a Volks mini might technically be the same size as other dollmakers' 1/3 heads, but the eye size and and facial features might not work with a more mature body.

I tried this hybrid because Dollmore Youth girls have a 7-8 head like Volks minis, and have a long thin neck.
An issue I encountered with trying this head & body combo was the body's s-hook was too big to fit inside the head, which is another consideration to think about.
