40–49cm Dolls Volks Mini Dollfie Dream Rena Ryugu Unboxing

after going back and forth wondering if I should get Rena from the Volks site, I managed to get her secondhand from a seller for a really good price!

The box sadly got a bit beat up during the trip here to the US from France though



I was so worried but I didn't want to open her up until the next day when I would have more sunlight;;;;

fortunately everything was safe! wish there was more cushioning in there other than the original packaging, but everything came undamaged so it's fine! she also came in surprisingly fast coming from overseas!
shipped on Aug 31 and showed up Sept 8.



she came everything! including her school uniform! I feel so lucky getting her for such a good deal!

I also made a quick trip to the Volks USA store a few days before to pick up a bodysuit and an M bust for her (I didn't think the S chest fit her well )


after a quick change and a bit of styling, here she is in all her adorable glory! (and all her friends!)

the seller mentioned she also had some staining on her legs but they were hardly noticeable at all! pretty easy to wipe off for the most part, but I know I might have to go in there with stain remover for a particularly stubborn one. Luckily like the other stains it isn't as easily noticed and hidden well under the bodysuit I got her to prevent further staining!

I'm so happy and excited to finally have my very first bjd! I was not expecting to own one so soon since I have 2 on layaway, and I was definitely not expecting for my first one home to be vinyl
glad I did though! I missed out on Beatrice years ago, and I don't think I would have survived missing out on Rena!

same!!! I was still a yougin' without a job back then though so there was definitely no chance I was getting her! now i see her for like 2k!!!

I believe Rena is still available on the Volks jp site last I checked? you might still be able to get her!
