Volks HUIS TEN BOSCH event 2011 & Dolpa PAL 2011.6.24(Fri)~26(Sun)

This is doubtful because they just released the Yo versions and these are the SD versions. The Yo Alice/Lorina were also white/natural and both had the same outfit but one blue/ one pink. But again I guess anything is possible.

 

Whoo the paperwork for what I won arrived today, and basically everything I put down for came home.
Now my best friend can get a Little Alice! excitement :3

 

I want the new Alice so bad. Very sad. I loved her the second I saw the picture.
But could never afford those inflated SH prices! Well congrats to those who can
get her.

 

OMG!!!!!!I love the teenage version. I absolutely will want to buy the older version of Lorina and this time around, I'll want Alice too!!!!! I better start saving RIGHT NOW!

 

WOW I am late to the party and OUT of monies. Alice is perfect! I love her and my wee Alice needs a grown up sister. I love the new body too. I wonder if they are going to have an After event ....

 

Lolly, if I'm not mistaken, Huis Ten Bosch events are mainly just for those who attend. They don't have a lottery or any after event, usually, if what I have read before is correct. ;(

 

I think your right vengez. It is a special event and I believe from what I read they usually have a special event only doll that isnt released anywhere else. I keep hoping that isnt the case, as I adore SD Alice, but I may have to accept she may not be available again. So no after event for this one or lottery sadly.

 

Wow that new body is kind of cool. Still... it took Volks so long to get in the game with an sd girl sized super posing body that I'm not sure I'd be interested (as if I'd ever have the chance anyway!) since I like the aesthetics of some other company bodies a bit better. STILL. The head sculpt on the other hand... TOO CUTE ! I can't wait to see pictures of customs ^^ I know they're going to be over-the-top loveliness!

 

Turynn - Hmmm I actually don't mind one bit that Volks didn't release this new body until now. I still like SD10 and SD13 so this is just a plus. Certainly their timing does not effect my appreciation for their new dolls.

For myself I can say that I adore the new Alice and Lorina. I would love the chance to get Lorina because I have enough white skin dolls in my house at the moment

 

Oh wow. Dolpa PAL`s volks release of items sound rediculous, but I actually want some.

They are releasing human-sized Kurumi/Hijikata wigs, Kurt`s Casket, Renee`s Hat+Drawers set.
Doll sized releases are Renee`s wig, hewitt3rd wig, GrOkita Wig, Kurumi wig.

All doll items are limited one per person.

I dunno the Kurumi wig looks bad human sized imho.

As for the Chair, their deadline is early July. 35000yen if purchased at-event, 38850yen if purchased after event.
I may do a GO for this chair, but this will be after I send off dolls from event to friends.

In a way I`m depressed since my hubby can`t go with me.

 

Wondering if the chair will be released at some point after the Huis Ten Bosch event? The event attendees are getting a preorder discount according to the Members Blog, but to me it seems like Volks is intending on releasing it again at a higher price (38850), maybe at another upcoming dolpa?

 

@byouyuuken I believe they are releasing it, but at a different price for those not going to Huis ten Bosch and with no guarantee that you will be able to purchase it.

 

i totes agree Marietta, the dresses are amazing. i wish i saved for a SDGrG Alice or Lorina, though...my SD Carol should be on her way home this week

Tsukidoll - there`s no one-off Alice, this is the default alice, but with a different set of clothes.

I may do a review on the new body since it is "new" and there isin`t any information on them somewhere, when her box gets shipped back to me (I couldn`t bring the boxes home because of restrictions.)
