They will release more SDGR girls in the future but to be honest, I don't see it hitting FCS any time soon.

The new body reminds me a bit of an SDC. At first I imagined this body would be more mature than this. lol
I love thier elbow joints and thier cute pinky promise hands. XD

 

Ooh, I like the SDGr girl body more than I thought I would.
She has a nice shape. I had a hard time handling the SDGr boy though so I'm not sure I'd want one but I like how she still seems to have a soft look despite all the new joints.

 

Loving the new SDGr Girl body too! I give it two years to hit the FCS lineup, since I think that's how long it took for the boy body to become part of the Sato-only line.

 

What I heard from the SR this weekend regarding this event.

SDGr Alice = 100% available if you go to the event
SD17 Boy in Red = Lottery
White YosD boy = Outfit only

AND

Yo SD Little Alice and White Rabbit will be available AGAIN D:

 

Isn't the SD17 boy Alain? O_O He is available as a full doll through lottery?????????????

 

I believe it`s like the Mad Hatter from the NY Dolpa last year. Don`t have clear words on which mold exactly from the SR staff, but I believe they meant fullset.

 

Has anyone identified the doll in white- is it a Kaelin?

 

What about Lorina? And does it mean that everyone who attends the event can buy Alice?

That's what I'm betting on, too. Although who knows? It may take Volks longer than usual to put it on FCS, nothing can ever properly be expected like that with them lol. Still, if it were 2-3 years that isn't very long for me to wait in terms of doll stuff.

 

I love the new SDGr bodies and the sweet Alice/Lorina face! My favorite pose is her laying on her stomach with her chin resting on her hands, so cute! I would love the chance to get one of these girls but will just have to wait to see!

 

Lorina is NOT at this event, but there is SPECULATION that Lorina will be available at Kobe Dolpa since it's the first-ever Dolpa in Kobe and Volks will likely do something special for that event. But, again it's speculation only. Kobe Dolpa is a month after this event and that means Lorina MAY be available IF she is sold at Kobe Dolpa via the International Lottery.

In addition, my friend said everyone who wants to buy Alice at this event CAN buy Alice if they choose. The outfits and other dolls are by lottery according to her information packet from Volks (she is going to this event). I haven't seen it myself, so I can't confirm if that is true, but that is what she said.

Thankfully I already have Little Alice and the White Rabbit, and all I want is the Gr Alice.
Non of the outfits are flattering to me and those School headsdon`t have the one I want (SwD A).

I am sure she will. The SDGr boys are all $200-300 more than LE SD13 boys. Looks like the SDGr girls are going to follow that pattern.

I LOVE the body. I love those hands. I love Alice's face. I do not love that price. Even Lieselotte was less and she had her BTSSB outfit. I dont do YJ and I cannot pay that inflated price. I will just have to make due with drooling over others girl.
I am not too keen on that hip joint when she is sitting but I love it laying down. I dont like her face as much head on either at least not in that photo. I love the top photo with her head turned just slightly. If she ever gets released her for some reason I will have to have her. I can just imagine some of the customs she is going to be gorgeous. Drool~

 

I need another one of those like a hole in the head.....but last time Alain was released I passed him up because I thought he was a little plain...but this one seems like my cup of tea!!!! So many dolls...so little money

I wonder when Lorina would be made avaliable? It would be amazing if they both were avliable at NYC Dolpa this year! (assuming they have it)

 

Everyone is guessing Kobe Dolpa for Lorina and a big ole NO to any US events at all this year. We will have to wait though but people have asked and received a response from Volks USA that there are no Dolpa plans in the US at all.

Yep. I remember SD13 body being very expensive alone in Volks make-up class and FCS is not cheaper compare to a limited full set that comes with everything. It's just convenient because if you use service to order from Sato you still pay a service fee to that person who places order for you so....I wonder how much SDGR body is in the class?

I need this Lorina in my life. I love the body, I love the hands, I love her face, the wig, the outfit, absolute everything! Ugh, that price is killing me. I think I'll just start saving now, and then by the time they finally release her worldwide or she pops up on the MP, then I'll have enough. So so so excited about this new body in general, I love these joints everywhere. So posable~

 

I am with you Cat. I feel like if I start saving now, maybe they will release her in the US in a few months and I will have a chance at nabbing her. I prefer Alice but you know what I will take Lorina too. I love Lorina's outfit more. I love this body too. Fingers crossed for us in the US.

 

The SDGr Girl Body is wonderful, Lorina is really beautiful, the only bad thing about her is the price, well, to start saving, I hope I can get her someday.

Lulz. So many people are cancelling since Lorina is not available this event! I`m glad it wasn`t Alice that wasn`t available this event..that would suck royally.

 

Aren't they the same headmold, but diffrent skintone? Then why are they doing this? They wanted both?

The faceups look different, and some people don`t like WS since it`s harder to take photos with I guess.
I like WS, but not everyone does. If they wanted both, they`d go to Huis ten bosch, then get Lorina when she`s released wouldn`t they?

I speculate that at PAL they may have a Lorina one-off.

 

I like so very much Lorina ^^!!! but she is too out of my league XP I think alice is perfect in everything....I am not very fond of WS since it is too difficult to see her clean (in my opinion) plus I kinda think they turn yellow faster than the other shades...but maybe it is just in my eyes ^^!

I have both WS and NS Volks girls. I wanted Alice because I have Yo Alice and I just got Lieselotte who happens to be WS and I thought they would look so cute together. But I also have a Liz, F-01 and Suiseiseki, and Chika who are NS so Lorina would fit in perfect too The WS girls tend to be rarer and more desired for that aspect. I think your right pacchan, ws does seem to yellow faster but it may just show more because of the brightness of the white. I do love NS girls too especially how dreamy their faceups can look.
I really wish Volks would just throw up all the molds on FCS or at a higher FCS fee so everyone can have a chance at getting their dream girl/boy. I can dream. Luna is my other must have someday.

 

Strange. I did not know PAL was open to people not participating in the Huist Ten bosch event.
(You would have to go to Huis Ten Bosch, pay the money to enter the place, then pay for event too?)

Tsukidoll: They do have a Higher FCS thing, it`s called the Dream fullchoice, which is way over my budget.

 

KimaLucifer- I already know about the "Dream fullchoice" I find it sort of a joke because I cannot imagine anyone laying that amount of $$ down for a doll, of course I have spent a pretty penny for a few of my dolls so I better just shut it lol

I still want Alice or Lorina. I wonder if anyone has emailed Volks to ask if they will be eventually releasing either girl. I have never emailed Volks about dolls only about their store items. I wonder if they would be offended by my question?

 

I haven't been paying much attention to this event, but when someone said they were rereleasing Alain I got curious. Oh my goodness he's gorgeous! I wish I could do my own Alain's faceup like that. He's absolutely perfect!

I'm very tempted to get Alice or Lorina, but not both since they're pricey.
Also, I have yet to read or find anywhere that mentions that the SDGrG doll next to Alice is definitely Lorina.
I bring this up only because Alice in real life had another sister besides Lorina. Her name was Edith.
Perhaps Volks will release Edith instead of (or with) Lorina for Kobe or another future Dolpa.
