Volks HUIS TEN BOSCH event 2011 & Dolpa PAL 2011.6.24(Fri)~26(Sun)

Thank you so much for sharing links to photos of SDGr Alice! She looks amazing, and she looks as sweet as SD Lieselotte! I like her clothes and wig along with her sweet expression, so I'm looking forward to more photos of her!

I promised myself that I would only get the SDGr girl body when it becomes available through FCS. If the SDGr girl body becomes popular, then I hope this happens within the next two years.

 

I asked in the Volks store in Torrance if there would be a NY Dolpa and Kayo said there are no plans for an NY Dolpa but Volks could change their mind at the last minute.

 

That's very disappointing. I wonder if they are going to do anything for the American fans again...

 

At this point with everything happening in Japan, it's understandable for them to take a while to come back to the states...they know how much we love them.

 

I was figuring that was the case. Last year, they announced the dates in November and registration was in April. There's been no word of it from Volks or any hints from FDQ, so I think it is a safe that that there will be no NY Dolpa this year.

 

Somehow I knew you would love her too Daniel!!! Isn't Alice gorgeous? I love her so much!!! If only I had the money!

I was just thinking that with all of the horrible things happening in Japan, they might not have a NYC Dolpa this year. I'll be sad to not attend a Dolpa this year, but wellbeing of Japan is much more important! I'm sure there will be another NYC Dolpa someday. We just have to be patient and hope for the best!

 

The girls are beautiful. I cannot afford another doll. I just bought a Yo-Alice and Lieselotte so I am spent. But she is adorable and maybe Volks will release her in the future, hopefully when I can afford her. I have to keep telling myself I do not need every Volks girl that is released. Its difficult for me to face. Volks always makes the most beautiful molds. I am sad to hear about possibly no Dolpa for NY, but I couldnt go this year even if they had one. Alice's side view reminds me a little bit like the SD-16 Kira.

 

Is Alice a new mold? I can't figure out what she is...

 

She looks utterly adorable; but being in Europe it seems to be impossible to even consider to get her

 

From what it sounds like she is supposed to be the SD version of the Yo-Alice but I do think she looks sort of like another mold but Volks molds do have a similar look, which is why everyone looks so lovely together. I am trying to totally ignore these girls since their is no funds for me to purchase them. I will have to be content drooling at own pics. The outfits are just stunning.

 

I assumed they were the new grownup versions of Little Alice & Little Lorina. Same general look.

The SDGr boys just have SD13B hands & feet; I think the wisdom was that they didn't want the Graffitis to have to buy different-sized shoes & option-hands than SD13.

But I guess they couldn't/didn't wanna do that with the Graffiti girls, because SD13 girls have those chubby little hands, and it seems they're going for a more grownup look... so I bet these girls do have SD16 hands. I wonder if they will have SD16 feet too.

 

Regardless of which bodies are being used for these girls, I think I'm trouble because I fear I love them already! LOL! As for an NY Dolpa, Roweena's right, Volks know's how much we love them. In the meantime, it never hurts to take a moment and email Volks letting them know how much you appreciated previous NYC Dolpas and how much you're looking forward to the next one!

 

Aww, if there is no NY Dolpa I'll be so disappointed TxT I've tried to go to the last few but something (school) has always come up that has prevented me from going! This was going to be the first year I intentionally cleared my schedule to be able to go... (since I likely cannot go next year)! Well, I suppose it seems unlikely now but I'll still be interested to see if they do any web-events like in the past..

 

I think she resembles Liselotte to me. The shape of the tearducts of her eyes and her lips remind me of Lieselotte.

Since the SDGr girl bodies are on par with the SD/SD13 girls, then I hope this isn't true. I hope that the new bodies just have a new model of hands that will still be compatible with the current SD/SD13 girls. And here's to hoping that the new hands become a part of the FCS lineup.

FDQ may very well surprise us, like they did this past Winter when they released their FDQ LE Ami Ayase. I still don't know what that was about, since Volks just doesnt release USA-only dolls without good reason. Was it just a part of Volks contract with FDQ?

 

I cannot wait to see the SDGr Girl body!!! I am sure it will just be stunning!

 

They are beautiful!!, Together they will too cute to bear XD. I hope the will be available for the oversea costumers,
but first it will be necessary to know their prices,

I am agree with Daniel Falls, Alice (if I am not mistaken) looks a lot like Lisselote.

Yes I would also love to know her price, not like I can go to Japan to get her but I may be willing to get someone to get her for me, goodness. I am so struck looking at the photo.

OMG a big Alice and a Big Lorina....I'm fainting!!!!! they are both sooo beautiful and Alice is simply gorgeous. Hope I'll be able to get her somewhere, but in Europe we have to buy everything from YJ. :-(
Hope one day Volks will consider to have a convention also here.
For the time being they are facing much bigger problems and they can't assure anything I think! we can wait...their health is much more important I think!

Hmm... Maybe they will do an an online event thing for the US, like they did the year Dolpa had swine flu fail.

Back on topic, those dresses are super amazing! The softer tones and style remind me of the Cheshire Cat outfit they had available for the last NYC Dolpa.

 

Big Alice and Big Lorina are utterly gorgous, I'm really interested in the girl Graffiti bodies and also whether Volks will 'grow up' any of their other Yos in the future It seems like previously they've aged down dolls rather than aged them up!

Alice is in the fore ground, she is white skin and Lorina will be normal skin.

 

Daniel I thought the same thing. I have Lielotte and she is adorable. I wonder what Alice's mouth will look like because Yo-Alice has a very specific mouth.

In a way I hope they do not come here so then I have an excuse of why I cannot have them. If they come here I am afraid I will whine and throw a tantrum until my significant other cannot stand it and buys me the doll. I hate to be a brat so I just hope there isnt a option, until at least next year from now. I cannot say I have ever been disappointed by Volks so no matter who they look like they will be wonderful.

She does have some of Lieselotte's features and (maybe just the angle) but she has some of Elena's features as well~ Idk, I think everything will be clarified once more pictures come out ^-^

Urgh...I'll be so sad if there's no NYC Dolpa...I too, specifically planned it so that I could go; in past years I was rendered from going [mainly for school]. I was looking forward to meeting everyone as well~ Oh well, the important matter is for Japan to recover from the recent disasters~

Additional thought; I'm glad the bodies have new hands but I wish that the cute H-03 hands could be default on bodies~

Late to the party to see the pics - but OMG!! I got shivers as soon as I looked at them...*dies* They are GORGEOUS! Whatever bodies they are on would make no difference to me, although the excitement of them maybe being on new ones is a mega bonus...

Yes, I think the Cheshire Cat ensemble got a little lost in the mix of all the other fabulous Wonderland themed offerings, but seeing it in person convinced me I had to buy it....and the fact that it came with pink soled cowgirls boots was another plus! LOL! I bet it would look stunning on either of these two grown up girls.

Squee! The new Alice is so cute, really like a grown-up (& sexy) version of the adorable yoSD! Sadly she inspires me some dolly character so I'll try to avoid her now, if not I'll be ruined! I'd lve to see more of that new body. It has beautiful hands, to start with.

 

I know, I can hardly wait to see more photos, kirane! Merangel, are you not tempted by the two girls? (evil grin).

So do you think the one on the right in pink is Alice and the one on the left is Lorena. I definitely want the Pureskin one, if that is Lorena.

 

They look gorgeous! I also see the resemblance to Lieselotte, but I really hope they are new sculpts! Little Alice and Little Lorina are adorable, and I think their "grown-up" versions ought to look as similar to them as possible.

 

Maybe those are the WIP One Off which will be sold at the event?

Awww so it is Alice that caught my eye the most. Funny, 'cus I just love the baby Lorina. I'll just have to hope there are some left after the Dolpa and they offer them for international sale....

 

I have to agree. I definitely see Elena and Lieselotte on that side view photo. I really hope I dont like her enough to want her. I do not have $$ for another girl. I find it interesting how different the sculpt looks from the side vs top. The Lorina top/front view she looks like AiL's Alice but Alice's side view looks like the Elena/Lieselotte combo. I really want better photos. I know I need to be patient.
I hope Volks at least does some kind of online Dolpa if they cannot come here. It would be ashamed for the US residents to miss out entirely. I like their outfit for sure.

 

My thanks to BriarRose for posting the new Volks link to this event. I'm also hungry for more pictures, but must say that one of the blurry ones looks like a tall guy...hmmm what type body I wonder? It can't be another Williams can it? I mean they used the Williams sculpt for the Mad Hatter, but they could show us some other fella as the Knave of Hearts right?! Like I need more to tempt me...arrgh! Well, it's all moot for me unless Volks makes these available at an After Event...and even then, well there's a certain SD16 Jewel girl I'm hoping and saving for.

They may be photos for limited outfits. All of the previous Huis ten Bosch events had some lovely LE outfits to buy.

 

They look gorgeous! I figured that they would be done making dolls for the Alice chapter of Dream Nights though since they have already started a new one (with Hansel and Gretel). I really hope though if they really do realease SD size Lorina and Alice, that I am able to get them. ^-^

One looks like Chris and the other looks like Hijikata. I am going to assume they're limited outfits like in the previous events. The YoSD looks are really cute, and I wonder if they'll be offered as well.

 

One of the male reminds me of Kaelin and the other Alain. I could be wrong @_@. Thank goodness I am safe from the girls XD.

Gah! This sucks so hardcore! I want big Lorina! Or Alice but fat chance on that! They are going to cost a fortune on Y!J. I don't have enough dolls to sell to make that happen!

We could all e-mail Volks USA and beg for another online Dolpa or something.... Short of that I don't think these two will be available anywhere outside Japan. There's not even NY Dolpa to hope for.
