Volks Hometown Dolpa Osaka 6 August 1, 2010

They sent them out quite a while ago. I got my lieselotte from Volks international september 28th.

 

Essie- My Lieselotte is adorable. She is waiting to go off for her new face in a month or so. I just adore her sweet little turned up nose. She is truly a beauty.
Ahiru- Thanks for that information. If I didnt win Lieselotte in the US I was gonna try on the international site. I didnt realize they sent their girls earlier.
Now it just needs to stop raining so I can snap a few photos.

 

Tsukidoll, Thank you for the compliment. I can't wait to see your Lieselotte pictures before and of course afer too. Do you think she will be away for a long time?

Is anyone besides Tsukidoll sending Lieselotte or Charlotte away for a faceup? I was going to keep her as is and now I see in some of my pictures she is quite pale. Oh dear. Maybe I will wait until I see someone elses results.

 

Sorry it's taken me so long to post this, but I feel like I'm only just recovering from the joy of my Lieselotte's arrival! She arrived on October 18th and is soooooo gorgeous!!! Please say hello to Liesebeth, also known as Liesie!!!

I am so mad. USPS lost my doll and the tracking doesn't even work. Don't parcels go back to the PO if it's a missed delivery? Are carriers allowed to keep it in their delivery trucks for days? I just don't get what happened... What do I do now?

 

My DD Mari is just amazing! She's my first DD and I can already tell she won't be my last. (That, and my husband is rather enamored of her, too!)

Sadly, her glasses arrived broken, but I have pictures in to Volks and am waiting to hear on replacements.

 

Go to the post office your carrier is based out of and speak to the supervisor in person. Give them as much info as you have: date shipped, tracking number, size of parcel, everything. Good luck!

 

I did that yesterday and they said that they would give me a call back when they find it but what I want to know is where the heck did it go?? I re-scheduled a delivery for today and it didn't show up with no change in the tracking so I'm assuming that they still couldn't find it...

This is so depressing.

Sometimes the carrier will forget to write a attempted delivery notification slip and just return the package to the PO. This happened to me once and since the tracking showed it was delivered and I knew it wasn't I bugged them till it was found in a back corner of the PO. I would make sure to keep bugging them. It seems lately a lot of my packages get delivered and the tracking doen't even show on them :-( Best of luck to you.

Oh, that's terrible. I'm glad that worked out okay though.

The tracking states that my package was a missed delivery and that it was at the PO. I checked with them a couple of times and they are very sure that they don't have it. But it's okay, even though I don't know where it is I still have hope that the package will get to me; it's just a matter of when.

 

I hope your doll shows up soon, ahyu! I know how distracting it can be to have a doll hiding somewhere in the mail system! @__@

I grabbed a chance to repaint my Lieselotte. Yay! I can barely stand how cute she is!

 

OMG St. James the eyebrows are awesome with the wig!! She looks amazing~ You did an excellent job on her I love her lips too ^////////////^ *melting all over again*

 

Omg, St James, you made Liselotte way too cute! I love how you paint her lips too, totally lovely! She looks cuter than the original defult makeup that makes her teeth very visible.

I can't waittttt. My Charlotte is on the way. 3 more days!!

 

ahyu - I've got my fingers crossed for your Lieselotte! My Nenad from SOOM was "lost" for two days because the post office people put her on the wrong shelf. They've also lost a GIGANTIC doll sofa box before and it took them over a week to find it. I'm sure your Lieselotte will eventually arrive safely!

St. James - OMG, she's beautiful! Her simple make-up looks so good on her! I love the way her teeth gently peek out from behind her pale lips and the simple eyeliner makes her eyes look so big!

I can't wait to send my Lieselotte away for a face-up!

 

Your Lieselotte is such a cutie! Thank you. It is very distracting... I always hold my breath every time I hear the mailman coming. *laugh* And I'm trying not to get down because I want her to arrive on a certain special date. (my bday lolol)

Haha.. That's kind of funny because you'd expect them to be able to find it faster because of the size.

I would cry if she was sitting on the shelf somewhere and they sent her back because of their negligence. I'd rather she be stuck in the system for a while than to make anymore trouble for anyone..

I got a chance to try out all the wigs I have on Charlotte just now. They are not very good quality photos since I took them with ipod instead of camera. But I think Charlotte looks very good with different wigs, especially DOI Luke's.

Oh, yeah. Random fact: Lieselotte's noggin is smaller than Charlotte's.

 

Everyone's photo are so cute. I have been too busy with classes to take photos of my Lieselotte. I will soon as she gets her new face up. I love how Lieselotte looks in white so pretty. I just managed to grab a Ran wig for her. I love her in pink.

 

Yes, she is so lovely in pink. I think it matches well with her milky skintone.

 

Oh wow, I just love all the latest Lieselotte and Charlotte pics, these girls are so lovely!

 

I was a naughty girl and got the Lieselotte dress in the marketplace. It's lovely! You guys weren't kidding when you said it was kind of big, though! The dress fits on my SD13 boy. Amazingly, I was even able to cram the shoes on his big feet! They don't fit with the socks, though. They are really thick socks, btw! I'm impressed. The hat is well made but I don't like it at all.

My boy is shooting more death rays than usual out of his eyes today, lol. I don't think he likes crossdressing much. The bow on his head in the picture is from the Red Riding Hood BTSSB set and the socks are just regular ones.

 

Hee hee - he makes a gorgeous girl. I say he stays that way!
