Volks Hometown Dolpa Osaka 6 August 1, 2010

This is sooooooooo exciting that Kerby Lane will have our dolls soon. I can't wait to get my Lieselotte!

 

Woo hoo! Volks just emailed me with confirmation that my doll is ready to be picked up at VolksUSA! I hope everyone else will have the same good news too! This week needs to fly by faster already!

 

Whoohoo! I got an email saying that Papi has shipped, now it's just a matter of days until she's home!

 

Yeek! I just got my email notice as well! This is very exciting! ^.^

 

Yahoo! Got my shipping notices for both my darlin Lieselotte and the yo Alice hands right on! It's a happy day today

 

I can't wait to see more owner's pictures of Charlotte~!

Got my Lieselotte's shipping notice from Volks USA just about 2 hours ago!

got a notice from Volks and says it's ready to pick up at the store. Guess I'll be picking up this Sat.

 

Yay! I can't believe they shipped so soon! Now I just need to wait for her to get to my friend so she can ship it to me!!

 

Ok so follow up to be existed about her shipping.. those who have ordered from VolksUSA recently, does the package require a signature? I really don't want Lieselotte just left on the door step and I know I'll be at work

fireflytrance I have always had to sign for my dolls. On my tracking page it says "signature required" and it should say that on yours too. So hopefully that means your doll will not be left (most of the good UPS delivery people will make sure to get a signature if it is required)

 

Fireflytrance, like NabeeRain wrote, I've also had to always sign for dolls I've gotten via VolksUSA. UPS should also call you a day before with a recorded message informing you that a delivery will be made that requires your signature. I think UPS automactically asks for a signature if the value of the package is more than a certain amount.

Congrats to everyone getting their dolls! I'm getting excited reading everyone's excitement on getting their shipping notices!~

 

Shipping notice!!!! on a downside, i wont see my puff for a month. I leave to go back to school today and wont be home till mid november.

 

Woot! Lieselotte and Charlotte are on the way! And are naturally scheduled to be delivered to my workplace on my day off.

My Lieselotte just arrived already wow and she is just divine! I named her Lily because I always liked the name and for the fact that she is lily white

I noticed her teeth are actually white which is a nice surprise since I'm so used to Volks teeth being painted pink or skin toned Just fiddling around with different eyes to see which ones suit her best...this is going to be fun! Good luck on fast shipping for your dolls everyone!

Roweena, I'm getting Charlotte and her planned name is Lily too. Her 2 sisters Kurumi (Daisy) and Ran (Poppy) are all my flower girls.

Spiral and my Lieselottes (Spiral's = Mirai; mine = Shourai (who is a boy ^^; ) came home today too ^_^ We'll post pics in a bit, but since their looks are incomplete and their eyes aren't home yet, it will be a while before they have a complete photoshoot~

Hey, Aqua that's cool that you're making your Lieselotte a boy. I was going to do the same, but then I realized that I would finally have someone to fit all of those SD10 girl clothes I have perfectly, so I changed his gender. >__> It's so rare that I get a doll for whom standard ready-made clothes are actually intended that I had to go for it. >:3

A few more posted [thread=403279]here[/thread]. I don't think my Lieselotte is going to keep her default face-up - it's reeeally orange and reeeally pink, and I'm not keen on orange eyebrows with black hair. But I don't even have time to think about that right now!

Aww St. James your girl looks awesome in that outfit with that hairstyle! I hope you get her a really nice face up to compliment the style you are looking for. And Idrisfynn's Charlotte is adorable with her cute accessories! It would have been awesome to have another Lieselotte boy around, but I must say that she looks awesome in your photos~ (I'll look at your photoshoot after I am finished with this post ^^)

Vollks should be shipping our dolls Friday or Monday which means the shop should receive them next Thursday. There's only 2 of us in the shop but we will do our best to get everyone mailed as quickly as we can. Am getting a Lieselotte myself and can hardly wait. Little more patience, we're in the home stretch.

What eye size do you prefer in her?

 

Oh I'm really loving these different styles! They look great sporting the darker eyes and wigs St. James and wow aquaspiral I adore the new twins!!

Tsukidoll that bob is the best wig ever! I wish I had ten more just like it in various colors So far, I've tried both 16mm's and 18mm's. Both seem to work out pretty well so far depending on how much of the whites you want shown. I hope you get your girl soon, I want to see how you're going to style her too!

 

My Lieselotte arrived and after a bit of a facewipe, I am totally in love (I felt the orangey and pinky tones around her eyes were just too strong. She'll get full re-faceup later, but for now I just tidied her up a little.

At any rate, after the treatment she /really/ looks like a SD size Mihmi (with slightly open mouth). Which is AWESOME because I love Mihmi. Only now I want a MSD size whiteskin version. <.<;

 

Those Lieselotte boy and girl twins are adorable, aquaspiral! I think Lieselotte makes a pretty cute boy!

They're so cute, St. James! It's nice the two of you got both girls, they should be kept together!

My girl came this afternoon. I don't have anything special for her yet, but there's a box opening and a few shots of her in different wigs.

 

I am so glad you said that. I really love Mihmi because she reminded me of Luna but I do not like the MSD size so that fact that she looks like Mihmi is awesome. I will most likely re-face her as well. I am not a fan of the default face ups for any company since I usually fall for the mold then I like to put my own spin on things. I am very happy with all the photos I have been seeing of both girls.

Ardi She is so cute! All those different wigs are awesome ( I like the spiky boy one the best I think heehee)

 

I bought a lot of clothes in this event by shopping service, the clothes of two MSD girls are really hard to buy!

 

I am loving seeing all the arrival pictures of these girls and the unique ways in which their owners have styled them!
