My flatmate and I both own NeoGeo consoles. We first bought Samurai Spirits over 10 years ago. We used to play it all the time! Amakusa was SO cool and fun to play. I can't imagine why Volks would base the doll on a game character that is so old... but it would be AWESOME. Samurai Spirits is one of my favourite fighting games.

Heehee, it's kinda funny, cuz as soon as I saw his name on the Volks page I yelled out to my flatmate, "Hey, they made a doll of Amakusa from Samurai Spirits!" I just never said anything 'cause I didn't really think that they would have based their doll on a 10 year old game character. (Hell SNK don't even really exist any more... T_T) So I'm not expecting that he is. Still, it would be pretty cool! If they ever made Kubikiri Basara, I would be SOLD and I would sell my soul to own him. So I kinda hope they're not doing Samurai Spirits dolls, or I'm ruined. Hee! I'd need Galford and Haohmaru and Ukyo and Shizumaru and and and.. but mostly Basara. (>_<)

I kinda figured he'd be in line with Ushiwakamaru? In the sense of them basing dolls on historical figures, I mean.

I can't believe it... They're finally rereleasing my dream doll!! She isn't white skinned, but still! Sweet Dream Nono!!! Oh I wish they had all of her information and pictures out!

I can't believe they released her right after I ordered Claudia! I hadn't planned on ordering another doll until I had gotten Claudia settled, but now... Oh Lordy! Please don't let her cost too much! Please let me be lucky enough to own her!! This is the best chance outside of an elusive One-Off for me to get my dream doll!

Sorry it took me so long to find out guys, but I was so touched that so many of you instantly thought of me! I guess my constant obsessive babbling about Sweet Dream Nono stuck with you! Thank you so much for all your good wishes! Keep praying for me, I'll need it!

*bounces up and down* I can't wait to see the LE dolls, but the teeny little teaser pics are better than nothing! I think I'm safe from the Yo-SD's, but from the pics I can't tell what the SD13 boy and girl look like. I hope I don't fall in love with either of them!

The Sweet Dreams Nono though . . . I'm drawn to her. Nono is my favorite headmold ever, and a normal skin sleeping one is different enough from my future sunlight skin Nono that I might just have to get her. I wonder if there will be other subtle diffences from the regular Nono mold? That would be cute.

And Cammy, I really hope you can get her to be friends with your FCS Mimi! If she's anything like the last batch of SwD SD's that Volks released, she should be pretty easy to get.

 

She certainly is and I certainly am!! I'm so excited that I'm exhausted! If I'm lucky, Claudia will have a friend sooner then I thought!

Dolly! I was wondering if you would want a SwD Nono (knowing how much you love the Nono mold).

I just can't believe they are releasing her! I, like you Cammy, thought that a one-off would be my only chance to get her. How lucky we are to have a chance at her! ^_^

Part of me does hope the her sale numbers are closer to that of SwD Kaede and SwD Mimi. Both Kaede and Mimi were in stock well after the Dolpa was over. I am worried though that she may sell quick too and be harder to get like SwD Nana.

I just hope that everyone who has been lusting after this beauty is able to get her.

I hope you're right, NabeeRain!! I don't know what I'll do if I come so close to owning my dream doll, then miss her!

I just thought of something! Since nearly every recent release of an SD girl has had the suwarikko body, this version of Sweet Dream Nono may have it too!! Sweet Dream Nono AND the suwarikko body!!! That would be wonderful!!

 

Yes my guess would also be that she has a swarrico body which is great news! I love my Kurumi's suwarrico body. I would love a Sweet Dreams Nono, I just don't know if I'll be able to afford her in time. That and there may be a lottery, but I'm going to try my best to get this sweet girl. Nono was the first doll I fell in love with and the sweet dreams version is just too cute!

 

I don't know how I missed this thread for so long. When I was talking with Debra from We Love Dolls on the phone the other day, she said "Have you been on DoA recently?" I then said "Yep." and that was the end of the conversation. I've ordered something from her for almost every dolpa for the last like 4 dolpas and she was probably wondering why she hadn't heard from me! heh.

Well, I am here now. You had all better like it!

Eeeee!!! Look at those pictures!! Oh my so cute! SwD Nono is such a darling! I love that outfit! i love that wig! And her make up is sweet just like I like! She is gonna match my girls perfectly!

I swear to god my neighbors just heard me squeal when I saw those pictures. She is young and childish just like the nostalgic SwD Nono ( who was my favorite to date). I actually like this girl more. I am super giddy right now over this. I just have to get her.

Cammy she will have the same body as the newer girls I am sure of it. But of course I don't mind the original SD10 sculpt either. I think the sold torso is beautifully sculpted. But I will be happy if she can pose better. I also hope DOA is filled with SwD nono's. My request thread has been blank for way to long lol!

AreeElf those Yo's are adorable aren't they?! Thier faces are so sweet and almost angelic. I just adore their wigs too. The Yo's outfits are super sweet too! I am such a sucker for stripes. Oh my so many nice things for this dolpa I can't wait to see all the outfits.

Thanks, chiquitita!! I thought they wouldn't rerelease her for years! Not right after I order my first doll! Lordy... I might go from having no dolls to having two in less then a year! I want her sooo badly!! I feel as if all my hoping and wishing and praying is finally paying off, and that I'm so close to my dream girl that I can almost touch her!

I hope we all get her too, Anthony!! I'm just sooo happy! She's just so adorable with her sweet makeup, curly ponytails, light blue sailor suit, and knee socks. Oh, so cute!
