Mine is scheduled for delivery TODAY, but we'll see how that goes. *crosses fingers*

 

My stuff was scheduled for delivery tomorrow, but now the confirmation link is telling me my order is on hold. X_X

 

I was curious and checked my status... still unchanged... infact there,s nothing written there.

My Yo-Sd that I got from the last dolpa is the same meaning they never updated my info on him either.

so My Amakusa is just going to show up one day... but still the wait is nervraking ;.;

 

Have you emailed them about your status acexkeikai?

Mine was scheduled for today, but she didn't show. Then I found out that they didn't actually ship her until Monday. so it's taking a bit longer.

 

The tracking link from the Volks order is not accurate. Try copy/pasting the tracking number at the UPS website, they'll give you an updated date.

 

I just figured that out this morning, it said my clothes were due to come in today but then I check on the UPS site and they arent due in until monday

 

I got a shipping confirmation!!!!!!! My dolls are coming!!!!!!!!!!!


... NOT!!!!!!!!! Lol... I thought that's what it was when I saw the email, but it was the notification for the wig and clothes I ordered last Saturday from the Home Town Dolpa Osaka 4 Regular Item.
Well at least I'll have some new stuff to play with until my dolls arrive...

 

I'm waiting for Cristal to come in Monday at Kerbey Lane. I'm so excited to see her in person!

Well Gabriel, my Yosd Shinn arrived on July 10th so 9 days afer he was shipped from Volks. I never got a confirmation, he just appeared. So for Amakusa I am going to wait till next Friday (October 12th) if he still hasn't showed up and if Volks Usa hasn't replied to my e-mail, I guess I'll call them.

 

I am late to reply. My girl was said to be due to arrive Oct 1 and she arrived
on the 2nd. The status changed on my order page to 'in transit'. Sorry I
was MIA I was sewing for her LOL I got Tampopo

My Tanpopo just arrived! Globalsea, I got her in the Lottery.

She's my first Yo-SD, and although I have a SOOM Teeny Gem Mint, He just can't compare for sheer cuteness. Her face-up is very nice in person as well. Blush-heavy, but I don't mind. I love the wistful tilt of her eyebrows, and the orange blushing around them. Her eyes are really magnificent in person as well, although they are not the color that I ultimately intend for her to have.

Now, time to settle minor details. Like clothes. And a name

She's my second Volks doll, and I have Amakusa coming in December. I guess that officially makes me a Volks fangirl.

 

Congratulations! Were you able to track her? I can't seem to figure that part out on the usa website.

 

This is all lottery I believe. After Event items should have all been sent out within a week of the after event if it is like the after events before it.

I am waiting on my girl from Kerby Lane. Oh SwD Nono I can't wait to see you!

 

I'm expecting delivery on after-event items later today. Crystal and an outfit that I ordered through Kerby Lane should be showing up at the end of next week or (knowing UPS), some time the week after.

 

I'm waiting for my tanpopo to be shipped to Debra at We Love Dolls.

 

Tae came today! She is soo cute! I still have a bazillion stuff to try on her and pics to take!
Oh....but her hands don't come till' the 9th...

 

Are there any other USA people out there still waiting for shipping confirmations and tracking numbers for their lottery dolls? My order status is still blank.

And does anyone know what sort of system Volks uses when they ship the dolls out -- alphabetical, by state, by doll type, etc.? I've always wondered.

 

I can't wait to see your pictures! I got a 3 day weekend to think about my doll and wondering where the heck he is

 

Oh boy, UPS says "DELAY-DISRUPTION IN AIR OR GROUND SYSTEM" under package process. Thank goodness this isn't a doll and just an outfit but it makes me worried anyways....

Whee! Just got word that Kerbey Lane shipped my Ayumu today. Just need to make it through the weekend; he'll be here on Monday.

 

I got my outfits today, but did anyone get the SDC Sugar Pearl/Sugar Ribbon outfits? When I tried to undo the pearl necklace to put on my girl, it promptly broke! I didn't even tug it hard or anything! I wonder if it's a factory defect or really just me being a brute... o _O
Just so everyone knows I guess, be careful with those necklaces!

This reminds me of a 1/6 volks anime doll that had a headband with pearls on it... all the pearls came off suddenly when I picked up the doll... and I had to sew them back on the headband one by one... and lost 1-2 pearls in the process...

I'm still waiting for both my dolls and outfits!!!

It's October 10th... My Yo-sd arrived on July 10th so maybe My Kanda is going to arrive today.. I hope...

 

I'm still waiting and haven't heard anything about my dolls either (no shipping or tracking info), and I'm in Kansas. I decided that I had better email Volks to find out what happened. If nothing else, that is probably the surest way to have the dolls suddenly arrive on my doorstep!

My sister called me at work today and said I got 2 packages in the mail and one of them has a big custom charge or something like 90$ ( I know, its outrageous!!!) but anyways that means its MY DOLLS!!
The other package might be the outfits hehe. but I ordered something else so it could be that also...
I hope they will have it in the post office tonight for pickup (sometimes it's only the next day at 1 PM...) because tomorrow I work all day then have class till 9 PM... so its tonight or Friday!!

My tanpopo finally shipped! And the first batch of amelie tailor clothes arrived today, such cuteness!

 

I finally found out why I hadn't received my Osaka 4 dolls. The DD Estel has been late arriving to VolksUSA and that held up my order. So my dolls are supposed to ship next week sometime. There hasn't been much discussion in this thread about the two full-sized DD dolls. Am I the only person who ordered one?

 

You are going to LOVE Ayumu. He's a real cutie! He's become my "travel" doll <grin> because he fits in my book bag with my lecture materials.

Cristal shipped today. By the end of next week (which will be a very busy week, argh), there will be a new gal in the house.

 

I ordered a DD FeenaFam and recieved her on the 5th, shes very lovely. I hope you get your DD's soon

 

Arrr!!! Volks really need to check on the quality of their stuff!
I also ordered the Sugar Pearl Dress, I took it out the package and unzipped it to put it on my doll, and noticed the 2nd pearl from the top is missing!?! I looked everywhere on the floor and didn't see it.. so either it was really badly sewed on and fell or it was missing from the beginning.....
I didn't have any issues with the necklace.... but anyways this sucks! I thought Volks made quality stuff, but I guess they have lots of issues with pearls....

 

I finally picked up my stuff that's been at the post office since Wednesday!!!
While im super happy to have my dolls and outfits, I'm also a bit pissed at Volks for a few reasons....

1. My miniDD wig is TOO BIG and the bangs hide ALL her face what's up with that, on the promo pics her bangs stop right above her eyes... This is obviously wrong, her wig cap looks a size too big

2. My SDC Sugar Pearl dress had a very poorly sewn on pearl that just fell off without touching it like I said in the previous post...

3. My Lost Angel doll has side parted hair but on the promo pics has center parted hair... uh?

grrr I guess that's why they write everywhere "The doll pictured is a sample. Please understand the items included may change and the actual product may vary." to cover their ass...

I don't mind sooo much about #2 and 3, it just annoys me a little... but #1 really really bugs me!!

Anybody else had problems with their MiniDD Konomi wig or with items being different than promo pics? Should I ask Volks about the wig? I paid so much for this MiniDD and she can't even wear her wig on properly!

 

My Nono arrived today from Kerby Lane! I must go pick her up from my dear friends house in the morning. I am so excited, Yay! Nona is here!!

chibichibiusa: I'm sorry you were so dissapointed. Volks items are usually of very good quality, so I was surprised to read your post. I'd email Volks and explain the situation with your MDD's wig. Perhaps they can exchange it? If that isn't possible, perhaps you could have the bangs trimmed to their proper length. I hope everything works out for you!

YAY!!! I can't wait to see Nona, Nabee! It'll make waiting for my girl easier. Once we each have our Sweet Dream Nonos, they absolutely must be friends! Make sure to take lots of pictures! We must spread the Sweet Dream Nono Love!
