I haven't received the one outfit I ordered directly from Volk's After event yet. I didn't get a shipping notice yet either

>_< I hate to see others still in the same boat. I paid over 2 weeks ago and Volks hasn't responded to my email from 5 days ago asking what's going on with my order. AreeElf and gabriel, can you tell me when did you pay and if you contacted Volks at all recently? Did you get payment confirmations (note that's different from your order confirmation) too?

 

I paid same day using link on the paypal invoice they sent me. I hadn't gotten around to emailing volks asking about it. I need to check my emails when I get home

 

Ditto what AreeElf said, I paid on the day of the AE itself.

I did, however, send an e-mail to Volks asking when
I could roughly expect to see a confirmation of any kind,
and was rewarded with the following:

'Thank you for your email and for shopping at our web site.
We have received your payment confirmation by PayPal,
so that we will ship your order soon.
We will let you know by the delivery confirmation email
when your order is shipped.
Thank you for your understanding in advance.'

So...they did get my payment, at least.
...it's a little odd that they didn't reply to you, actually? ._.

 

Well, I got my shipping notice lat Wednesday (I think) and it just left Canadian customs, so it should be here soon! I can't believe you guys haven't gotten a shipping notice, I thought mine took long. I got my payment confirmation a couple days after and my shipping (like I said) last week.

 

I received my outfits on Friday. They came pretty quickly after I received the shipping notice and payment confirmation.

 

I waited a week and paid for my doll order last Tuesday, but I didnt get a shipping notice. I emailed Volks after reading about other people having problems or not having received their dolls yet. And today, I just got a shipping notice from Volks that my doll is on its way via EMS. I mentioned that I wanted to take my doll to an upcoming meetup this weeked, while also thanking them for their hard work. I imagine that the Volks employees were considerate enough to ship my doll out to me in time for the meetup.

 

Finally got the shipping notice!

 

I am going to pick up my bjd tomorrow but there is a tax fee of $59.00. I was hoping it wont be that much oh well.

 

I emailed volks and it turns out since the email I used for the order did not match the email I used for paying the invoice the order was pending everything is straightened out now

 

Yay! I got my doll yesterday, and it is awesome!! *so happy* But, I still need to get some clothes for it.

 

I got Amakusa from Volks USA... They won't ship them before the end of the month. If I call them do you think they would put their new finishing spray and some doll wig fixative in the box along with him? I'm a bit nervous that if they were to ship it seperatly Custom would seize the items. They have never opened a box from Volks but I'd be afraid they might if they see aerosol and would seize them =/

It might not have been a lot. It's been two weeks since the after event the dolls might have been unpaid by the buyer and it went back into stock

 

The Yo's are out...but Nono and Amakusa Shiro Tokisada are still available to buy as of right now.

Oh! NabeeRain, I completely forgot that you are getting a Sweet Dream Nono until I noticed your signature! Yay for us! Nona is such a cute name! I never would have thought of it! I can't wait till our girls come home!

 

Yup I am getting her. I have wanted her since I started collecting about 3-4 years ago so I am really excited. One of my father's best friend's wife is named Nona, which how I thought of the name. My standard Nono's name is just Nono and since this is her twin, I wanted her to have a name like her's. I think it is so cute...Nono and Nona.

I can't wait until we get our grils! yay!!

Whn will Volks USA send our dolls? Anyone got a time frame? My letter keeps saying the same thing... my last purchase (YoSd Shinn) the invoice never changed).

 

Volks USA said the dolls are going to be ready to pick up at the end of September but I haven't received any notice when we will be able to. They usually ship out dolls around the same time.

 

Okay thanks know they were sending them at the end of September. I was hoping someone would post a more defenitive answer. Because of promotions they had the last Dolpa the dolls were shipped latter than expected and being from Canada it has to go through customs.

They have never updated my order status, my last doll just showed up. I don't mind but I just would like to know when they arrive or to be able to track them.

 

Really the best thing to do is wait. None of us will know or have a more definitive answer until we receive our shipping notice (which from I remember numerous people get shipping notices). I am positive that people will start to post here as soon as they do and that way you can better gage when your doll will arrive. ^_^

 

Since Volks USA is starting the sale of the limited items on the 29th, that might be when they will have all the items from the Dolpa in there store in stock and ready for sale... and when they start shipping out the limited dolls also. ... Just a speculation...

 

Whinch mean they'll probably ship the dolls after the envent which means early October... sighs.
Ah well the more I way the higher the canadian dollar gets and that means less taxes to pay at Custums =D

 

Dolls are available for pick up this weekend, so I'm guessing they're going to ship them out soon!

 

I hope they start shipping Monday...Wooo Hooo !!!!!

Squee! Me too! In the UPS shipping detail it only shows that the billing information's been received, but it's already got a date that it's scheduled to be delivered.

omg... I should be in bed cuz I work tomorrow morning at 7 am (in less than 7 hours... !!) but I had to go check... I still have no order status and tracking *sad*

All these names are cute. But I don't have a problem if you want to call her Yuzu also. I like Yuzu because of that character in Aishiteruze Baby (It's a really cute anime)

...I really have no idea what UPS is doing. My box has been in Ohio--at a place all of a two-hour drive from where it's going to be delivered--since the wee hours of the morning yesterday and now isn't scheduled to arrive until Friday? Oi, can I just drive down and get it? >_< I can't take the waiting!

 

That sucks Takira... I know mine will take time to reach me since 1) has to be shipped by Volks. I have no idea if they did yet.
2) has to go through Customs... and no one can know how long THAT will take... then the slowpoke trip to my place...

In my experience shipping anything between Canada and the US takes WAY longer than it seems it should have to...you have my sympathies. The shipping gods work in strange and mysterious ways... o_0

 

I had a doll shipped from eastern US almost 2 weeks ago. As of now, its sitting in a postal outlet in Montreal (and has been since Friday), just hanging out; waiting for the next cattle train to the west it seems. I had a parcel ship from Korea on Monday afternoon. It arrived in customs yesterday morning, cleared customs late yesterday, entered the sorting station this morning and will go out for deliver tomorrow.
I find central Canada to be a black hole in delivery world. If my parcels come via US west coast or from Asia, they are fast. Parcels from the US have about a 75&#37; chance of being taxed. Parcels from Asia about 25%.
That said, I cant wait to see the new purchases as they arrive.....

 

Selmada, it seems Customs is holding your package hostage... I had a doll trapped in there for 14 days... Talk about slow.

Well all of my Volks packages were taxed, I don't think this one will go undetected too...

sigh still no news from Volks...
