Did you mangage to get the White Rose boy outfit? It's available again and I have it in my cart! I want to buy a pair of shoes but shipping for only that would be a killer. Want to do a mini-group order?

Edit: How long can you keep these clothes in your cart anyway? Is there any point in waiting and reloading pages to get more outfits, or should I just get these while I have them?

 

Did the chibi outfits restock? I have a feeling they're not going to, but I keep checking anyway. :/

 

No they didn't seem to. I usually have better luck at volksusa AE for the yo outfits

Sometimes they sell right from under you better to checkout then email and request for them combine shipping on your orders if you are paying by paypal. Sometimes they will combine shipping do and sometimes they don't it's not guaranteed

The things will stay in your cart for days if they're still available, but putting them in the cart doesn't reserve them.

 

I wonder how long I should sit here trying before it becomes completely silly

 

Really? I added the Yo-SD panda blanket in my cart and it's now sold out but still there. I think you're allowed to have item in your cart to be reserved for a certain amount of time before it gets taken out.

 

Ok! It totally nullifies my theory on items being returned to the shop when sessions time out, though. Ahahaha.

Have you tried checking out? I've had it happen that it's in the cart and the cart doesn't empty until you try to checkout and it realizes that there's no stock left.

I just checked out. I ended up making 2 separate orders because someone released an outfit from the pink label and I got it . Does anyone know if Volks will combine orders to save on shipping?

 

Did you choose other for payment? They maybe able to combine shipping if you email themwith the order numbers before they send out the paypal invoice

 

For my first order, I paid with credit card but the charge hasn't gone through yet and it's still pending as a temporary transaction. For the 2nd order, I chose to pay by Paypal because I just remembered I have to pay a currency conversion fees for using my credit card. I emailed Volks already and hopefully they will let me combine my orders.

 

Yay! They replied saying they will combine my order. I'm so glad that I wouldn't have to pay almost $50 for shipping. hehe

eeeee the bondage plaid set came back in stock and I managed to snag it! So happy! and I talked my friend into buying a wig so that we could split shipping to make up for me buying two separate lots of things.

 

Argh, now Volks just replied to me saying that their definition of combining orders means sending it out in one package but regardless, I still have to pay both shipping fees for each order. My wallet's bleeding...

 

Lunesque won Cristal for our split! So I'm getting the body like I wanted and at a great price! I also got the girl's Gentle Breeze Jacket set, the boy's Plaid Bondage set, and the White Hoodie and Corset dress set!

I still didn't see the Yo-SD outfits restock so I'm going to have to stalk VolksUSA for it. And of course that's the outfit I wanted most. *lol*

 

I totally forgot it was the after event today. XD

I went and lazily poked around to see what was still available, and somehow got the White Rose outfit. I got it in my cart and everything, but saw the final price and closed the window. XD I'm not too keen on paying $20 shipping for one outfit. I like it, but not that much.

 

Last time I ordered from an after-event, the outfits were shipped immediately and I had them in hand within about five days. I didn't order a doll that time, though (I believe that was the AE for Dollpa 16 -- and I will say that it was MUCH easier this time than that time, which was an agony of broken links, crashed or slow systems). I believe somebody above said that the dolls are shipped immediately for the after event?

The one problem I kept experiencing this morning when doing the AE tango was that when I logged in, I was immediately directed to my personal page, and had an absolutely awful time getting back to the Osaka 4 page. Did anybody else have that problem and, if so, how did you get around it? I actually opened a different type of browser and copied the URLs I needed -- that, I'm sure, slowed me down significantly.

I did have the credit card issue -- got as far as the Verified by VISA thing and then the system crapped out on me. The second time it went. I'm going to have to check and ensure that I wasn't charged for the whole thing more than once.

 

Yah, Tenshi!!! I got my Cristal too, we'll have to have them meet up at our next meeting!

 

I got logged out this morning when ordering. For AE I usually choose paypal to save time on credit card verification and typing in the number.

Does anyone lnow if the AE dolls have the Sato-gaeri services already or only if you ordered them? Also ones bought at the actual event?

Strangely enough, SDC Kurt, and MDD Konomi, Mayu and Ayu are in stock on the Volks Int. site. Nono came back in stock, but shes now gone.

 

The AE dolls only have Satogaeri services if you ordered them. Volks only does those services if they are specifically ordered, whether it's a regular release or limited doll.

As for the ones bought at the event, they would not have the services either. I assume there is a form included with them if you'd like to send your doll back to get those services but I'm not 100% sure.

 

Thank you very much! My japanese is limited so trying to find out if the Y!J Cristals have the service is really difficult.

 

Satogaeri services take an extra month to do, so I think you can safely bet that none of the Cristals on Y!J will have them.

 

I was surprised to see SwD Syo there a week or so ago, and he's still in stock. And it took them years to sell out of Magical Michael. Too bad there weren't Cristals for everyone. :3

 

I was pretty surprised about some of those dolls being in stock also. I thought I had explored the website pretty well and never saw them before. Did they just start listing them again with the new lay out?

 

Just curious, but how long does it take for them to ship? I've never ordered from Volks (or any doll company, for that matter) and was also curious how I will be notified when it is shipped. Has anyone here had their doll shipped yet?

 

It depends on which Volks website you ordered from. Did you get your doll from the After Event on the international site or the lottery on the US site?

For the US lottery, they will ship in about a month. For the Volks After Event on the International website, they should ship within the week.

Also, not every doll company ships in the same time. For Volks, this being a dolpa the shipping time is different in the US than for the normal standard Volks stock dolls. Usually they ship in a week if it is a standard. But for a dolpa doll won through the lottery, it usually takes a month as long as no extra services were added. The international site, however, still usually ships in the same time as they do for stock dolls, that is usually within a week.

Oh, and they will usually email you when your item has shipped. ^_^

I got my Cristal shipping notice as well! I don't think she'll be here early enough for my BJD presentation on Saturday, but that's okay. I'm so excited to be getting her .

 

wow, the people who got in on the after event are getting their dolls quick- congrats!! I'm glad I wont be getting Tanpopo till the end of sep. I need to pay off my cc! lol. ><

 

Have any of you who won dolls at the after event NOT been charged yet? I'm waiting to see the charge go through, but nothing has happened yet.

I just ordered clothes from the AE, but haven't received a shipping notice. Has anyone who didn't order dolls received a shipping notice yet?

 

Issue has resolved -- I received a charge order and a shipping notice early this morning.

 

I've been charged and got my shipping notice with tracking number on it. *does happy dance*

 

I was told by volks that it will take 14 days to get doll ready and ship to me. So I guess I will get mine on mid september or later.

 

Uh oh guys! I just tracked my package and it says it's arrived but in customs... So this means I will get taxed right?

 

I ordered an outfit from the after event and hadn't got charged yet. Maybe they are out of stock??? O__o

 

No everything that goes into the US comes through customs. There is no extra tax for that

 

I know everything coming into the U.S. has to go through customs but I'm just worried because I ordered a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff. *crosses fingers* The last package that came to me from Japan also had tracking but it never showed the status as being arrived but in customs.

 

I got $253 in customs fees. ^_^; And! Cristal is here!

Umm.... I got the notice they received my payment (PayPal) but still haven't gotten a shipping notice. And that was a while ago... I'm starting to get worried.

And $253 customs?! That's crazy? How much was your order total?

Why is it that the US doesn't get customs, but everywhere else does? I'm sorry, but that REALLY doesn't seem fair to me.

 

The US doesn't charge custom fees when it comes to toys while the rest of the world does. That's why. =/

 

Lets see... order total almost 90 000 yen. Around $870? And then add 29&#37; in import tax, customs and fees. x_x; No, I don't particularly enjoy paying it. ^_^; Tho I think the Brits have it worse?

 

It is taking them longer than usual to ship out stuff this time. I just received my shipping notice for my clothing today.

And it isn't the US's fault that other countries have custom fees; we have absolutely nothing to do with it.

 

Holy crap. $253 in customs fee?! That's like paying more than what Volks USA charges with tax for a Cristal or buying her from those scalpers on ebay!

 

I have to ask, are there people who have not yet received their After Event order?
