I can't wait to see what will be on offer as well. I think the vs/vip will be getting picture's by tomorrow. Well I hope they do. Then there is a Dolpa 29 in April to look forward to.

Interesting news! A new line... Midi... hmmm wonder what size it could be.

 

I am getting so excited! Maybe we will see pics by tomorrow! And the new size - the hands look Yo size to me, so maybe something a bit bigger?

Volks just revealed thet there will be dolls from the Journey to nights dream story line this dolpa on twitter! Wonder what story they'll do this time...

There's also a teaser image as well, and from the looks of the hand shown I'd say it's a large boy...

 

Looks like Midi has extra elbow joints like SD Cutes, Graffiti, and SDGou. Interesting.

DDS Nanami ( Natsuki's little sister) has just been announced for this dollpa.
She is cute but I am a bit disappointed because I hoped she would be a MDD.

 

I think she is cute! I wonder if she will come with the guitar? I am excited to see the resin offerings too!

Journey to Dream Nights... I was wondering if they might release an adult Megohime someday, but I guess it's not this time! XD

This does seem like an SD17 boy and maybe a big girl too... I'm so curious to see what Volks will do this time! SD17s are dangerous. T^T~

I love Claude! He looks like he could be Heath's older brother. Ugh! Volks! Just when I thought it was safe!!!

 

I'm dying to know how tall the Midi girls are! I can't read it from any of the photos posted so far.

 

The Midi girls look so much cuter than their teaser... that angle of the hands was really bad, but I'm relieved to see the hands looking much nicer in these new pics. I am feeling safe from all boys as well. They're handsome, but luckily not quite what I need in my family. I really hope this time Volks will give the US a chance for the tan boy. I was so bummed last time they didn't offer Shiro. >_< Good luck everyone who will eventually try for the dolls!

 

They are MSD size, I think, because they make a comparison to the MSD body in one of the photos saying that it has a softer and more natural shape than the previous MSD body (&#12511;&#12491;SD = MSD).

 

That's somewhat encouraging and somewhat disappointing. XD I was thinking a new height would be thrilling!

 

I can't wait to see more pictures of Belle! She looks a bit like an older Luna to me....

 

I cannot be 100% yet, Alice, but when I get my Volks News I will let you know what it says. Because of the comparison to the MSD body, though, I am thinking they are likely similar so that they can share clothes.

Honestly, your reasoning seems pretty sound. Releasing an entirely new line of clothing would be a pretty significant endeavor. My hope will still glimmer a little, though!

ksdlfajslkfdj!!! I had a Lieselotte before but i wasn't too attached to her for some reason so I had to let her go but this msd version of her is just utterly CUTE!! @_________@;;; The reason why I left the MSD size was because of the body but I have a feeling this time it'll be a huge improvement. I am so tempted by her!! Can anyone confirm if she is White Skin/Normal Skin?

I am SO glad there are new molds this time around even though I don't think I will be tempted by Belle (but you never know with Volks' photos haha). I need more photos to have a better conclusion. Belle is so beautiful too T-T The more I stare at the photos the more I see some details come up. Blarg. @o@ Hate this new release as I thought I was a bit over bjds already, hehehe. X'D

 

Huh too bad I don't have boys! None of the girl stuff is calling for me. Oh well maybe Dolpa 29 haha.

Tan Beast is quiet gorgeous! It's amazing to see how the same sculpt looks in tan/normal and with different faceups. I'm quiet excited to see the Midi has updated joints! =) Chloe is a real cutie...even if I don't think I need another girl right now. ^_^;;; Nanami DDS has a really sweet face too. Urgh...must try to be strong this time around.

 

The shadow skin Shirou is not perfect at all. Many discoloration all over his body and head and etc. I wonder if the SDGou will be the same thing.

 

I actually think I'm safe from the larger dolls...! Chloe on the other hand is a real cutie. She looks so much like Lieselotte, and my character for my lieselotte happen to have a younger sister so I have to have a Chloe!

 

I love Belle face she is so sweet, and she has SDGR body... I have to save money!

I really am liking Claude and Chloe! I am on the fence with Belle, she is very pretty though.

 

How many Dolpas in a row is this where the SD girl is SDGr? Has Volks given up on the SD16 size? IIRC, the last one was SD16 Megu, with the updated shoulders and elbows, but that was in March of last year! :/ Not that the Graffiti girls aren't cute, they're just too short for me! Lol, sorry to pout, carry on

 

I think it is more likely they will replace the sd/sd13 girl body than the sd16. They alway released less of the sd16 size than the sd size. My guess is they will release another sd16 girl this year.


EDIT: Liz is supposed to be a mini version of big Liz, right? I hope this is a trend they continue with!

 

Akane chan, apparently that was the winning entry for a catchphrase/writing contest Volks had, where the winner would get their entry designed and published by the Volks team. The real life Masamune Date allegedly loved cooking, so it's kind of like a joke based on that. The text is cut off, but I think he's scolding/being stern about present day Japan not taking health seriously enough in a sort of maternal way. ^^

 

I really wonder how the Midi body would look with an SDC head!

I'm wondering if Beast Claude will be limited to at the event only like the Shiro was last year?

 

I think the pan with a spatula and an egg is from a DD (fits SD) set that have an apron too in pink or yellow

 

Beast Claude on SDgou is like perfect for a character I had in mind!! omg.... Am loving that pair of SDgr/SD16 boots too!

 

Somehow I knew you'd like him. My husband asked why did the beast end up looking better than regular Claude?

O_O I haven't heard anything about shadow skin issues?! Are there any pics of the flaws? ... I want a shadow Shiro eventually, but definitely don't want any surprises, especially for the price he is fetching.
