Volks hands on CH Boys?

    1. Has anyone tried this? Does anyone have one of each and -could- try it?

      I think only the oldskin hands are still sold seperately, so I guess I'm interested in those?

      I just hate, hate hate how horribly stiff and useless the CH hands are. ;_; I don't care -all- that much about skintone difference as I can work around it... I just want to know if they'd fit, and how much flexibility they'd have.

    2. Whew! Allistair convinced Devin to literally lend him a hand. Worked out well, though I had to exclude the little washer from the SD13 that is meant to keep the S-hook from disappearing -- the CH arm has a much smaller bore. The resin match in this case isn't too bad in natural light -- but Devin's a bit yellow and Allistair is very pale; I think he might be the "new" CH resin that's supposed to be closer to Volks pureskin or something.. he's a very different color from Joshu.

      The mobility is excellent! Makes me REALLY want to S-hook Allistair's hands ;_;

      Allistair is convinced this good fit means they're meant for each other.. Devin thinks he's mental. ;) Hmm.. now I have 2 reasons to look for Volks optional hands..
