Volks Dolpas in August - Discussion thread

Its ok nothing much just the usual hope a Nagisa in pureskin and a new Yo and pony wanted a Yo too LOL.

 

omg, i would die if i could get a yo! i want one so bad. how do we go about the dolpa? i know you have to enter in the lottery and if you win you get to buy the doll, correct? and we have to go on the japanese website? sorry, so confused, lol.

 

hi guys! i was wondering if any yo-sd's will be released? my mom might get me one for christmas then. also, if their any yo's being released, how does one go about getting one? i know about the lottery somewhat. sorry, i'm not very familiar with volks!

 

im still rather new but correct me if im wrong please ^^ ! for yo Sds (if they were to be released as limiteds or something along those lines) then yes on the lottery. And as for getting a lottery ticket i would keep checking the volks blog to see what method they are doing. but if u didnt win one there's always that chance of someone selling a yosd on DOA or ebay. (there are still some to buy at the LA volks store)

there are also yo tenshi! which are practicly the same size but they are asexual like all "tenshi"! Available only at Tenshi No Sato during certain events/dolpa. The Yo-Tenshi have a special function that allows its wings to detach via magnets.

 

ok, just wanted to make sure! and the yo-sd's on the volks site aren't available, if they were,i would have already ordered one, believe me! lol. i just can't pay 900 dollars like my friend did to buy one off of yahoo japan, that's too much!

yeah, well he came with like 4 outfits, and she had to outbid this one buyer, she goes crazy sometimes. i like open eyed, but if i can get a closed eyed one, bring it on! my friend has a sleeping renegearmu(so tired can't spell) and he's so cute! i will love you forever if you keep an eye out for me!

does anyone know about the yo-sd's? yes, i want one REAL BAD! but my mom will not pay 600-700 dollars on the secondary market for one, only the price volks sells them for, so i'm praying they will have some!

 

I'm sure someone will post info about the dolls being offered as we find out about them.

"Sweet Dream Nana" & "Sweet Dream Kira", too
Syo, Nana and Kira are normal skin!

I don't know whether Volks has more limited models or not.
If "Sweet Dream Piccolo" & "Sweet Dream Anne" come, how will you do?

 

Omg they're killing me >.< I've been hoping for another normal skin Nana-SD release too!

 

That's kind of crazy, if Volks release three sweet dream dolls in the same time

I really hope Volks won't do that , if they do , I am going to break my bank!

 

Thanks for the info, ria_ria! I can't wait to see Sweet Dreams Syo! And its nice they're releasing a sleeping 4 sisters mold, its one of my favorite sleeping heads.

I'm most eager for the smaller dolls though, can't wait to see if they have any planned. ^_^

The first Sweet Dream Nana with beauty white skin was limited to an after event, maybe they will release one at either Dolpa still I pray they won't do it with Syo though..cannot afford two at once!

 

I hope you're right. I've been dying for a snow skin Nana so I can modify her eyes. Otherwise I'd have to order an FCS to get the sleeping four-sisters head, and it will be much more difficult to modify.

yay for all the sweet dream dolls! *loves sleeping dolls* if they ever made a SD Cecile, I'd be sooo happy..or an SD Chris..(I know there's an SD Lucas, but I love the white skin ^^)..very slim changes with both of them, but you never know!

An F-03 would go perfectly with your Syos. They look so much alike, as if they were related! I hope I can find a snow skin Sweet Dream Nana, but if not, I'll go with an F-03.

awww, i want the little girl yo! we can enter the lottery online to win them, correct? i'm drooling right now, lol.

 

I believe it only becomes a lottery if they get too many orders. The last Dolpa a lot of people got *most* of what they wanted.

Gonna die if I don't get Syo though I've been studying his face and come to the conclusion that he's different from both oldskin Syo and the current standard/FCS Pureskin one, his nose looks rounder and more upturned. Head also looks smaller, but that could just be the angle. Wonder if they'll have changed his crooked mouth too, and the eyes are probably symmetrical now..normal Syo's are uneven. Either way I must have him!

 

How are they doing Dollpa sales now? I haven't bought directly from one since Kurenai was released but I muuuuust have that Yo SD!! Do they do a direct sale (fastest on the browser wins) and then a lottery? Or just one or the other?

 

I'm set on adopting those Yos!! X_X;;; (My poor bank account!!)
