I'm going for Sasara as well! *-* She is the only doll I ever wanted and I'm still sad about missing the chance years ago. :c But maybe that's it what you call fate. I even love her new default outfit in contrast to the older black one I was never really fond of.

I'll do everything to get her but I hope, if she doesn't want to be mine in the lottery (which is very likely), that the aftermarket prices won't be that crazy. Melty looks nice as well and I'd love to get the To Heart2 uniform for Sasara but I guess I would be peeved if I'd win everything else but Sasara since she is most important to me. And then I might not have enough money to pay her aftermarket price. xD' Decisions, decisions....


Anyway, best of luck to everyone who is going for any of these new releases. :3

 

I'm kinda disappointed. I voted for Yuu Morisawa every day! But it's MORE Charlotte and Liesolette.

 

Ah, I did too!! I really hope someday she'll be rereleased. She's too hard to find second-hand!

 

I was expecting to see Lorina/Alice considering their popularity. Lieselotte is so adorable tho and I'll definitely try to get her. I'm also considering getting Melty since she's one of the few DDs that I really like. I wonder if Volks USA will have a separate lottery...

 

I wish Volks USA will have a separate lottery as well... I don't know how to get a doll from a DP >A<

 

Somewhat disappointed I was so sure that Alice and Lorina would be on the list......

Kei is quite the tempting boy!!
I'm actually planning to attend the event before I go home to my home country for the holidays. The guidebook comes out on the 21st! I wonder if there are any other DoA members who plan to go, too.

I'm also surprised that Charlotte and Lieselotte are back again, though I do looooove their outfits this time around. I'm definitely set on Kei for myself, though!

 

I'm fascinated by the models for the schoolgirl outfits -- looks like Chiyo on an SD16 body? Even Volks realizes she needs a more grown-up body, LOL. Good thing she's just a model and not for sale on the Dolpa, so as not to tempt me

Yo Megu is so stinkin' cute, with her red satin gown and ** channeling Amy Farrah Fowler** a ti-ara! Megu has my childhood fantasies pegged ^_^

 

I voted everyday- Alice, Lorina, and Yu Morisawa and I was SURE they would come back though I should be glad as I dropped all my monies on Fairyland! So I'm totally safe from this Dolpa.

Agreed! Their dresses are absolutely adorable. If I can't bring Lieselotte home, I'll definitely find a way to get her outfit. I'm excited already.

I kinda wish I haven't entered the one-off lottery now. I don't think I can afford all three dolls at once. xP

 

I'm safe this round. I never liked Maki that much. I don't activily dislike him, but I don't like him either. The pictures of him as Kei haven't convinced me otherwise. I guess their going to release the other 'the best' dolls over the course of a couple of dolpas, and we won't know the winners of the other categories until later?

 

I was really hoping we'd see some new shoes for SD13+ boys. It's been a long time since they released a nice pair (please feed my shoe addictions, Volks). As it is the only thing I'm interested in in the entire Dolpa is Maki/Kei's wig.

Though if I had a DD it'd be killer. Those santa outfits are adorable as is the Miku outfit.

 

Seconded on the SD13 boy shoes! I'm so picky about them, I'd love to have more to choose from. I have a lot of barefoot boys, darnit!

I love the Santa outfits too, but I have nobody to wear them - just an SD13 girl. But they remind me of my character's outfit in an MMO I'm playing, it would be fun to do a cosplay!

 

I was surprised too that Alice and Lorina aren't available this Dolpa but it sounds like these dolls are from the first rounds? So I'm guessing that Alice and Lorina will end up at the next Dolpa? Maybe Kyoto in the spring?

And I was also surprised that Volks is offering fewer choices, but I am hoping this means they are making more of each doll so more people get a chance to bring these dolls home. I'm very happy about the re-released choices! I'm going to try for Charlotte, Lieselotte and Melty. And those SD16 fur boots are a must.

I'm surprised no guys made it on the Best Selection list. I was hoping for SDGr Souji Okita (normal ver.) to be re-released. Oh wells. I'm pretty safe this time around.

I don't collect vinyl dolls anymore... but my oh my, Sasara has always been a favourite of mine.
She is just so seductive!

 

Arekushia I'm not sure if the photos are unclear or if my eyes are playing tricks on me, but Sasara seems to be more serious (facial expression) than Ver 1. Am I alone at feeling this way?

Sasara Ver 1 is more beautiful in real life than in photos. She has a docile, shy, thoughtful expression in her face. Words cannot explain and most photos of her including this one does not show that expression. 2 of my resin boys Anthony (Isao) and Christian (F38) admires her.

I see the one off procedure for Dolpa has changed. They used to draw the dolls at Dolpa but now it looks like they will be drawn later in december and shipped in Jan 2015. So I guess you have to have a Japanese address and a Volks card to participate.

Just to clarify in case it helps anyone, there is not a requirement to have a Volks card in order to participate. But you do need to have a Japanese address.

 

I have never tried for a Dolpa Doll before, but I am so tempted! They are so beautiful If anyone could explain the procedure for me, that would be so great Thanks!

 

You will need an account with Volks International. Once Volks posts the dolls, you sign in, select the doll you want and add them to your cart and check out. If memory serves correctly, you don't need to pay or provide a credit card number. That happens after if you win. Volks will contact you if you win. The dolls won't be posted until closer to Dolpa. I can't remember if we apply before or after Dolpa. Oh yes … and then you pray to the Dollfie gods for a win!

Sasara Kusugawa has to be admired in real life. So those attending the dolpa will see why she's special. That expression on her face combined with the DDDy body and sexy clothes make her divine. For reasons I am unable to publicly express, I have reservations about participating in the lottery (if I am allowed to participate) for Sasara. I waited for her for 5 years but now that she's being re-released, I feel confused, sad and nervous. She's my grail dollfie dream.

 

There is not a single doll in this Dolpa that I wouldn't like to own. Well, maybe I could pass on Melty. Not because she's not gorgeous (she is) I just don't know anything about her. I don't know anything about Sasara either, but her expression is enough for me . Even Kei is perfection and I don't collect boy dolls. He could definitely convince me to rethink that decision.

Soo, I know it's a bit soon to ask as the details for the actual event itself aren't fully up yet, but for anyone who has participated in the in-store after event, are dolls available (by lottery?) there too? Or is it just outfits? If so, I'm seriously tempted to go.... despite the fact it'll take an entire day to get there and back.. not to mention the cost. But still more feasible than going to Tokyo.

 

I keep looking at the Volks JP site and it seems Lieselotte will only be available to those actually going to the Dolpa?

The tiny boy is Hewitt and the big guy is Tony! (I think!)

 

The mystery guy is Tony on SDGr, with Hewitt. They're from the same storyline as Kei, Harajuku Memories.

I actually didn't see anything about it, but no information about the after event either. I think I am just being too worried about it. I have never participated in a JP lottery before.

 

I'm really surprised at myself for not feeling I need Kei... I keep going back to look at that F-57 modeling on the outfits page instead though. He's great!

Hey guys, I've been following the Dolpa conversation and I'm confused about the after event? Are we waiting for Volks to provide more info. for entering the lottery?

 

From what I know there is no after event on (lottery on volks usa) however there is the international after event.
BUT - I can't find an entry form..... I though it would happen on the 14th but I guess not.
Definitely confusing.

 

If I remember right, the after event is still in January. it won't happen right after DolPa.

I'm mad at myself for stumbling into this thread. Now I really want that Melty, and I'm not even a fan of DDs or bigger dolls in general. The other dolls really look nice as well, but that Melty...
