Congratulations Astralprue!!! Renee is the most adorable MSD I've ever seen. Think I'll begin watching Yahoo Japan. Love & enjoy her!

 

She is painfully adorable. And seeing how cute she is makes it harder for me to wait for mine. Don't get me wrong, I'm so so so glad I got my Renee through the USA Lottery because its so much less stress, but damnit, it also means I have to wait longer!

 

LOL I hear you, Kurosakura!!! I think I may just go crazy waiting for Suigintou to arrive!

 

Renee is absolute cuteness!! Congrats to all of you who gotten her!!

I can relate mine's going to be a longer wait since I opted for the sanding and sueding for Hina but it will be all worth it.

Volks really did a great job with the dolls for this dolpa.

I have to say that Renee had me tempted but I'm still happy with my choice of Hina.

 

I finally checked and it looks Like Volks USA finally charged me for my lottery item.

They hadn't updated my order history yet---not that we'll start to see anything until mid-February but at least it makes it a little more tangible now.

I had been holding out hope that someone might not bond with her and resell their Renee at a less than astronimical price - but she is so perfect and loveable I can't imagine anyone deciding against her. If I want her I guess I will have to say goodbye to some of my resin clan...

I don't know why I keep torturing myself over this since I lost out on Renee in both the US lottery and the AE, but I can't help look up owner pics of her!

She looks really good in long hair, IMO.

Also, looks like two AE winners put her up on YJA (*grumble grumble*)... if you've got money to burn and still really want her, I'd check there. (I, unfortunately, am the latter but definitely don't have the former!)

Out of curiosity, are any of you new Renee owners planning on taking her out of default with a new face up or anything along those lines? After seeing more pics of her I realized she's much younger than I anticipated and I'd love to see someone make her look slightly more mature.

 

Renee does look younger in person (and has a lack of a forehead, I may add). She has bubbly cheeks that cannot be seen in photos because they flatten the forms.

I'm not planning to remove the default faceup. My fiance would have a fit. =P

 

My clothing arrived today, and it's wonderful. I especially love the jeans set I got - that brown jacket is made of real leather, which wasn't evident in the photos. I almost wish I could have gotten two of them!

Volks did refuse to combine my orders and refund part of the shipping costs (they cart wasn't working, was only letting me put in one item per order, so I had to order three separate times, and pay $75 in shipping), which was frustrating, but I'm so pleased by the clothing that I honestly don't really care. The three items came in three separate boxes, all on the same day, and each cost 1,500 yen to ship.

So happy for you on the clothes but I can't believe they couldn't combine shipping ! That stinks ! That's alot of $$ for 3 sets of clothes, so Im really happy for you that you love them, but Is it normal for Volks not to combine shipping ?

 

Will do!!! I didn't actually get lucky enough to get Suigintou myself... I got lucky enough to have a friend who got her for me--and that makes me doubly lucky As she's my first real girl, I am crazy with excitement (and have absolutely no clothes for her yet!)

 

I've just received my order for the Dolpa 18 AE clothes today as well I've been really sick the past few days so I haven't really had the engery to properly inspect the package, but from the little that I have seen the clothes look amazing And I just got the email that my Renèe shipped today too YAY!!!

Well, usually they charge a set shipping amount per order, which goes up in increments if you buy more items. My problem was that the cart was malfunctioning, and so I had to place three separate orders to buy my items, rather than having one order with three items. So usually their shipping isn't so high - I just had some bad luck there.

 

That's good to know. I really like Renee as well and I can only hope that they'll re-release her.

I'm simply amazed at the quality of the clothing, they look better in person than on the website!
I got the three I wanted in one cart, so I didn't have to pay shipping three times - still had to pay customs though x_x I'm afraid how much I'll have to pay in customs on Elena when she gets here

And every time I see astralprue's photos of Renee I become a little more enamoured with her! Lucky me I don't get that 'NEED' feeling when I see her or I'd be in a sorry state =P

 

While I'm so happy for all of you who won Renee, I'm sooooo jealous. I desperately wanted her, but she wasnt' for me. I do have Alain coming and the SD17 h.Naoto outfit, so I shouldn't feel too sorry for myself.

Very CUTE Renee! hehe thanks Anthony, I had to trade my Rei Tenshi and pay a bit more but my desire for Suigintou was too much to bear. At least I have a chance to get her! hehehehe, but yea renee looks so much more adorable than i thought she would be. I hope they release Barasuishou or Kanaria. Kanaria is my favorite cute character hehe. I'm so excited! I should get my Suigintou this week. I just have to say though, Volks just loves purple eyes, a lot of super dollfies have that eye color even in the customized figures.

Awww Thank you all so very much for loving Chantel She's in a GORGEOUS Leekeworld wig that I am SoOoO glad I convinced myself on getting for my slim MSD girls.... This doll really is just gorgeous, and reminds me of a ray of Sunshine. That's why her name means Happy Song, Corny I know but still.... And don't worry B I'll bring her to the meet (Yeah like I had a choice).... I don't know if she's coming to Dolpa with me, but we'll see

hehe i have more opening the box pics but I haven't dressed her up yet. After I finish my essay and some other errands, I will take more photos. I really don't have much room for her in my dorm that's safe from everything. So I might take her home and do everything there. which might be in 6 days or if I can't resist sooner.

Its common for me to take a week or longer to open a doll!

If she is anything like me she might be wanting to savor the moment find the perfect time and feel very relaxed!! I love to find the perfect day which is normally a weekend and feel like I can spend a good hour.
