The LPC Sugar Angel Dress was up for a good few refreshes before selling out

How on earth did you manage that??? I have been hitting reload constantly from 1:57am (at which time it was 'this item is not available at this time') until ... well, now... I managed to click on the add to cart button but it didn't make it into the cart.

Renee is the only Volks doll that has really lit my fire in a long time. Annnd, once again in spite of trying every lottery and staying up until obscene hours, I still have the choice of paying 3X original price or just letting it go.

It wouldn't be so galling if people hadn't jacked the price up to 180,000 yen....

Oh well. Wanting something doesn't make it happen and no one sits up in heaven deciding that those who 'deserve it' (ie aren't just buying to re-sell) get it.

 

All you new Renee owners are so lucky! Congratulations! I was hoping she'd be my first doll, but looks I'll just wait a little longer. (Seriously, my 3 friends and I must have the worst luck!) I can't wait to see all the Renee pic spam in a few weeks!

Check your cart!!! This happened to me too, and there she was in my cart. It was a tiny bit of a hasstle to check out, but it was WORTH IT!!! CHECK YOUR CART

I got the outfits I wanted, but when I keep trying to pay for them, I keep getting this message: "I am sorry, it cannot deal with a visitor's credit card very much now.[CODE:1G971FOR]"

Is anyone else getting this problem? What does it mean??

 

Well, they finally stocked some clothing, and I got one of the outfits I wanted. Unfortunately, for some reason the site wouldn't let me add any OTHER in-stock items to my cart until I paid for that one. (????) So I paid for it, and now I'll hope they restock again. Which means I'll be paying a whole crapload extra, since I'll have to pay separate shipping for every item I get...

I had some problems with the site too, but luckily she still was in my shopping cart and finally I could make the payment.. I'm so happy!!!!

 

Don't know, Sweetiemi. I finally got all 3 pairs of shoes that I wanted, gave up on the SD16/17 suits, and got out of there. What a PAIN! And when you say you want to "continue shopping" it takes you to your "My Volks" page, and you can't navigate to anything from there! AAAARGH! I need a drink.

Thanks for your good wishes but no such luck for me. I clicked 'view cart' to checkout (instant checkout wasn't available) and it wasn't there right after I clicked. I checked again to be sure and still nothing.

Well I got the chibi girls coat set which I really wanted, but not the white maiden kimono which has been my heart's desire since I saw it. I'm highly doubting they'll restock it too. Maybe I should just go to bed?

 

Ryochan if you did not close your Volks Page, then you are still logged in, and if you did add Renee to your cart or think you did then there is a Chance she might actually be there. Don't give up just yet!!

No, I got Hinaichigo for a friend who then of course decided she didn't want her.
Story of my life.

 

Blargh! Alain came back into stock for a second and I got him in my cart but went to check out and he's gone.

 

Well, with as many people as got her here, I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone doesn't bond (and feels generous enough not to charge more than a thousand dollars markup. >_<)

I got four out of the five outfits I wanted. This is the first AE where things actually... worked. For me, anyway. I usually end up screaming at the monitor.

Everything was removed from my shopping cart!! WTF?? Wow, what a blow... I tried so hard to pay for the outfits, and they get wiped from my cart!! Arg, that really stings...

 

AAARGH!!!! I hit reload one more time and got 'there is a little bit left over' I hit 'to order' as fast as I could but... no dice. Still didn't make it into the cart. It's just teasing me now.

I got that a few times, then my cart got wiped... I guess even if it's in your shopping cart, it doesn't mean you have it until you're fast enough to complete payment as well...

 

Well, I've managed to get two of the three outfit items I wanted, but because of weird site mechanics, I had to pay for them separately, so I've had to pay $20 or so shipping twice.

 

I guess I lucked out. I did not hit any server error or any of that b.s. I ws keeping my fingers crossed the whole time though! I completed my order in two minutes.

 

I have done 3 "to purchase this item immediatly" and i got three "voided" payments in paypal. please what does this mean

 

This means that your card is not authorised for internet transactions. At least, it was for me. I called my bank and that's what they told me happened, so I told them that it is an authorised transaction.

 

Just for frame of reference... at what point should I consider this a lost cause and stop hitting refresh on Renee's page in hopes that something changes?

I should probably just call it a night, huh?

I'm happy, because I got all three of the clothing items I wanted, but frustrated by the fact that I had to buy all three in separate transactions. Every time I tried to add something to my cart, it bumped out whatever was already there (so I can apparently only have one item of any sort in my cart at a time...?). I've paid...$75 in shipping charges, for just the three pieces of clothing (I got a trenchcoat, one of the SD17 suits, and one of the SD boy jeans sets).

 

I was hoping for Reene, but had no luck. I did get my pair of pink msd shoes though. So Im happy anyway. Gratz to the ones who got her.

 

Yes it is... I just feel so terrible for those who couldn't get her.... I actually stayed up and went back to wait for the SD16 girl and boy clothing to come back in stock, and with a little patience I actually got all 4 of the SD16 clothing items I wanted

I am so very sorry for those who are still trying. But all I can say is don't give up. I was about to give up on the SD16 boy stuff, but I actually got it eventually!!!! So don't give up everyone. Keep on trying!!!!!!!!!

It voided your sale others already bought out the item before you could checkout.

 

I was going to do something very impulsive. I was watching at alain pics yerterday and thought I could finally embodice my character Logan (I was hitting limwho mano or some other "manly" BJD) when I remembered him. Been looking at his face for hours, evenphotoshopped it with my mods

The event was late at 11 am here in Spain, but I went to bed at 4 a. m. after being busy all day with a college project (I&#180;ve had a couple of terrible weeks and my quarter exams are about to start) but I was so sleepy I forgot to set the alarm clock and got to hte computer at 11.15 ..all was gone by then

I stayed up and struggled obsessively for Renee, like so many here. I got her for about 2 seconds, but when the shopping cart page opened ever so slowly, it was empty. Feeling sad now and my shoulders and neck just hate me!
I feel so frustrated that the clothes were sold out more than 2 hours before the event. The things I wanted, especially the Chibi Snow Sets, never re-stocked. I managed to get a few wigs I hope I will like in person, 1 of the MDD white sailor sets, not the dress one I liked best but the jacket one. Then they restocked the unpronouncible Cthulhu and I grabbed her. I have nothing this size, but was too taken by the cuteness!
I have very little hope that I can ever buy Renee - her secondary price is just sickening!
