Ahh, I did get my copy-and-paste reply today from VolksUSA. Slightly different than the int'l ones. ^^

So I think they got the hint that Western Hemisphere s Shiro!

 

I have a sunlight boy too and he hasn't turned color XD Do not worry.

 

I also got an email back from Volks USA, but I was asking whether they might release Tsukasa someday since Yukinojo's price tag is just out of my league.

The part where they're telling the headquarters is great. If anyone else is interested in Tsukasa, I encourage you to email also.

 

JennyNemesis, I got the same e-mail from VolksUSA today. Yeah, they reply just like I thought Well, then we will continue to hope for the best

Jenny, I'm asking myself the same thing. >.> And after this, what can we expect next? Shadow Ryoya? And Yukinojo still has ivory skin... <,< I thought he was more "manly" than Shirou. The first time I saw that Shirou photo I thought it was Ryoya... .(_ _).

 

I got 4 emails from Volks today...LOL I emailed both Volks USA and Japan and got the same copy paste response. I am happy that they can see that there is real interest...gahhhhh! Want these boys so bad.

I'm afraid to guess what Shirou may cost in US dollars. I don't need another expensive doll, but I don't think I could resist if he shows up on VolksUSA!

 

I heard on other forums people were already setting the price they would pay for him, 220,000 yen is the amount they are willing to pay even though he isn't even released yet!

I got my reply from Volks too (god they're quick !), slighty different than yours, maybe because I asked about other things too (proposal about other SDs and a question about a possibility of a Volks Layaway Service)

 

No idea where or how I will wrangle the money for that Shirou, but dammit I'm going to try... and probably end up selling all the dolls I have just to afford it. @___@ But man, I have not liked a doll this much since Williams the first time he was released.

Every time I think I'm just not interested in Volks dolls any more... They want to make a liar of me, repeatedly.

 

Got the same response from VolksUSA when I emailed about Rise yesterday. UGH!!! I neeeeeeed information!!!

 

That is the price of SD17 Hijikata Toshizo... ALMOST the price of SD17 Reisner. Reisner is 250,000 yen and Ami Ayase is 230,000 yen. So I guess once he's out, SD17 Shirou will reach 250,000 yen or maybe more, considering the SHADOW skin is still OOAK. ^^;;

 

The price would definately increase once we know whether he will be available only in Japan or for the lotteries~ but I predict his price would definately be much higher then Reisner and Ami.

Crossing my fingers that he will be made available for AE and USA! This dolpa sure had all of us sitting on the edge! Grhhh... And jpy has been strengthening again... Def not looking fwd to the yj prices.

Can anyone confirm whether SDGr Jun is the same headmold as SD13 Jun? The eyes and the nose look the same but the lips and the overall shape of the face looks different?

I'm new to Dollfie Dreams and really want the Rise girl but from what I can gleam, there's some sort of lottery you need to be a winner of so you can buy the doll and you seem to need a "guidebook" to be able to enter?

I cant find any concrete info on it, maybe because it's expected that people will know how it works.

 

You only need the guidebook if you are going to the actual Dolpa in Japan. You being in England, can only enter the lottery through the Volks International Sites After Event. Us here in the States can enter Volks USA Lottery and the AE as well. You can also get the dolls on the second hand market...Yahoo Japan, etc. Good Luck!

If lottery, I think I may need to buy more guidebooks....= =lll

 

I assume he would be sold via the regular method - one guidebook = one number drawn for the position standing in line, with the dolls being sold first come first serve to those in line in order of their numbers drawn.

 

She should be a different head. When Volks put them on a different body like this as limited the head is always re-sculpted for better fit.

Yes, like carmen171 said guidebook is the ticket only for the event in Japan, where you can try your luck to get a doll that you want. You might get a random number which will mean your number in line for item that you want.
The lottery is held online usually for overseas customers, it's called After Event. You need to signup on Volks International website, then in designated time an add to card button will appear, you will need to fill the form with all payment information an so on, but this is not a "real" Add to card action, a drawing will be held later between all orders and only winners will get an email from Volks in designated period of time. If you win they will charge your card, if not then nothing will happen.

Shiro is only DP, not AE ! And the SD Gou is for who have buyer a card VS/VIP in Japan

 

Yes, that is what Volks has stated so far, but they have also stated that the have not yet decided if they will release either doll for Volks USA members. So we're hoping we'll still get lucky.

 

akane-chan, the glasses are sold in the summer. bummer I know, but I speculate that summer might have another P4 doll because of the delay.

 

If they do, not only am I gonna be so super broke and my hubs is gonna strangulate me. @__@

Someone else was saying it'd be reaaaaaally nice if that meant we were gonna get a glasses line for DD. :3 I wouldn't mind some more option for glasses for them. ^^ But another P4 character would be welcomed as well!

 

I guess we're just in wait and see mode now. I bought a Volks News 48 from the international site because I like to have the News that includes our dolls. I'm also collecting pictures of the Kanata they've been using as a clothing model lately. I love his face-up so much I keep thinking about repainting my boy!
Is anyone going to order the new limited Tangerine color HG eyes? I think they are a gorgeous new color option, but I couldn't think of any doll of mine that would need them, so I decided not to wait for VN48 to arrive at Volks USA. I got lucky last time and won the SD/SD holding hands that were a special lottery item with issue 46.

Those HG Tangerine eyes are pretty nice. Wonderful color. But like you, I have nO one that would use them.

This time Volks is taking their time to update the Dolpa web site! *yawn* Dolpa 27 is only 2 weeks or so away!!

 

Whoo - just read through all 18 pages.

Interesting that The SDGou Yukinojo is Japan only (for now) and pre-order. That means I don't have to budget for him on my Dolpa trip!

I've got my eyes on Rise, Sakuya DD's and the new MDD!
