Swank! I can't wait to see the Juns start rolling in and then to see the customs show up. I think the custom faceups send my Volks love from massive to exponentially massive.

They're really beautiful... Thanks for sharing that, rainwaltz! Make me want the SDGr body even more now. I wonder if we can put these on SD13 girl body?

 

The sculpting is so delicate and dainty, right? I love love them. :3 Volks says you can use them for SD~SDGr, but these hands are a bit larger than normal SD/SD13 hands so it might look odd, but then that would be a matter of personal preference. These hands are actually the same as SD16G hands, just that SD16G has a different wrist ball.

I really want the Lorina promise hand to complete the entire set. >w<

 

I think I saw that on YJA a while back? I hope you find it soon.

 

Oh, Thank you rainwaltz for sharing the photos of the hands. They are very feminine and delicate. They are going to add extra expression to poses and photo's. I'm excited! I ordered one of each of the optional hands.

 

Im guessing you can only order hands if you got her straight from the volks lottery, bu what about kerbey lane or wld......anyone know?

 

Unfortunately the US dealers don't participate in the Hands pre-orders/lotteries. Our only chance is to use a service or yahoo Japan.

 

You can get the hands if you win her directly from VolksUSA, but unfortunately through WLD and KL you cannot get them... ><' But Y!J is a good option. :3

Did anybody get their shipping notices from Volks?

 

I don't know about on here - but a few people on the DD forum have received shipping notices from Volks.

 

My Rise delivered yesterday -- she's already sitting on the couch next to me, hehe!

 

I received a bill for shipping from WLD this morning! I am hoping that means the dolls have arrived!! ^__^

Please post pictures of Rise for us! She is the one DD that I'm falling in love with.

 

I always do box openings! ^__^ May not get her all dressed up though - because I'm prepping for a move next week. ^__^ So it may be a bit before I can post those pictures as well as pics of her in different outfits. Now my search for a wig for her begins!

Rather than mess with her wig, I am just gonna buy her a brown wig and have her, have her hair down like Yukiko. I've heard horror stories about her default wig, so I'm just not gonna bother, lol.

 

I'm not sure if this helps Neurocidic, but VolksUSA actually had a post (Sumika times maybe?) on how to style Rise's wig, the way they did for her promo shots. I thought it was neat, and may actually use the method if I ever get a wig with pigtails. Separating locks within each ponytail made the wig appear more in character, just like her anime photo's. I've never actually played the game or watched the series. She's an adorable character regardless.

 

I might look that up! Thank you!!! But, I'm also a bit of a perfectionist and may just want to keep her actual wig in brand new condition because I'm weird like that. Plus, wig hunting is fun - sometimes daunting because there's so many places, but fun.

I LOVE Rise. She is one of my favorite characters along with Yukiko. I play the video games, but have not seen the series. I did see the first series "Persona:Trinity Soul" - but that was based on different characters.

I am currently stalking the FedEx page for more information. As of 7:10am (est) Rise is on a truck "out for delivery" in a town that's about 45 minutes away. I'm so excited!!! Not sure when FedEx will deliver though, as I am used to UPS.

I have a quick question for Rise or Sakuya owners - since I send my DDs home, and now I decided to buy them some eyes, I was wondering what size would be the best? I am thinking of animetic eyes, but I never bought those yet (my first DD, everything new again ), so I have no idea what size would fit best.

 

She's all packed now, or I would check for you.

Mine should be in the mail from KL today. I'm so surprised that you haven't gotten yours, Seditionary, since yours is coming from VolksUSA. Maybe email or call them tomorrow just to check? The dolls have been sent to the dealers by now, so they should have been mailed from VolksUSA.

I checked Sumika times and saw *DP27 Limited Item: SDGrG Jun Tachibana with Satogaeri Service (one of those is mine, I think. ) was also in this shipment and expected to ship soon. I ordered her with the Satogaeri service, so I think that maybe the cause of the delay...I'm not sure. Perhaps she will arrive with my Yukinojo as well. If so there is going to be a big box opening when they arrive.

 

Ohhhh! Yeah, Satogaeri usually holds dolls up about a month or so for all the finishing work on them. I'm betting she'll be out soon!

 

That's why, then. Phewww... Whoops! No need for me to worry.

My USPS shipping label was created from VolksUSA!! That's has to be my Jun Tachinbana! I'll probably receive an e-mail from Volks tomorrow stating that she has been shipped. So excited!

 

Seditionary, that's great! My Jun got here yesterday, she is so cute! I stuck the Gr Nono wig on her and I love it.

 

Is that the Winter Smile Pig tail wig? I actually thought that would look adorable Jun! You beat me to it. So yeah, I received my official e-mail from Volks, stating that she was shipped. Her estimated delivery is this Thursday, 5 more days to go!

 

I hope they start shipping the Yukinojos soon. I am just dying to see him up close.

 

Me too!! My yukinojo preorder invoice is about 352 orders after my Jun lottery order. I think they process their shipments in order, we'll see...So I'm hoping to see my guy before November, that would be awesome. We should be seeing more photo's from owners, since VolksUSA did recieve a shipment of Yuki's.

 

I ordered through We Love Dolls, so I have no idea what the Volks order on my Joe is. It'd be nice to know, since I still have to pay the balance on him, but I got the bright idea to move the funds into their own account so there's no chance we'll blow those bucks on anything else....which is some comfort.
