Congrats on whoever has gotten their dolls XD I just recieved my Shirou's shipping notice today! Hope I get him before the week ends >_<

My Shirou arrived! customs finally released him.
i took some box opening photos and did his first photo story, nothing is finished yet so ill post it later on when i have more time.

For those who won Jun T. through the lottery, I just received an e-mail from Volks USA with the opportunity to purchase her extra hand parts. That is so awesome that Volks is giving their U.S. customers the chance to buy.

 

I'm loving seeing all the Shirous coming home~! I regret /nothing/ about getting him. (Er, at least until the Visa bill comes, but that's what saving for a rainy day is for, right? ) Jo77's pics of Joe have me eager for him, too. Just when I think our relationship might be on a break, Volks, you remind me why I love you so.

 

Heyyy, how come your Shiro's wallet has money?... He's clearly more frugal than my boy. Kimo probably blew it all on mochi at the airport before he got here.

*More Info* For those with Super Dollfie Graffiti girls, it looks like Volks will have the new extra hand parts available in the future so no worries. From my e-mail it looks like SDGr Jun Tachibana owners will be the first to Pre-order.

 

My Shiro has been released from customs (after his ransom was paid, ouch), and should get home in a couple of days But I won't actually be able to open him for about another week because he's technically my honours degree graduation present, and I haven't finished my last two essays yet orz. Then again, since my last year's Christmas present and this year's birthday present (combined to buy expensive archery equipment) won't arrive until July, maybe I can finagle to have my boy when he gets home

I'm loving the owner pics of all the recent arrivals!

 

I didn't even know Shiro has a wallet. I had to go check to see if it was there after I saw photos in here LOL!

 

Could you find it Izam? It would suck if it got misplaced.

Jo77, Your personal photo's of Yukinojo, made me so glad that I ended up placing a preorder with VolksUSA. I don't know why I was undecided, the new body is amazing! I'm loving his default set too. The character I have intended for him is a special organization police officer. He's very stylish to boot. Lol.

 

Im glad you did! His fullset is awesome esp his shoes! The gou body is what i had hoped for. Not too buff and still lean. Im still trying to get used to the new bod. The slouch is not as visible as sd17. Im still slightly tilted towards sd17 though. cant wait for urs to arrive!

Bwahaha I got to open my Shiro anyway. He's called Travis, I think... Hmmm or maybe his last name is Travers which he goes by all the time, and people don't realise it is his last name and mistake it for Travis. That could play into how he always calls my Williams by his first name rather than his last which is what he also goes by, to annoy him as Drake (ostensibly) doesn't know Travers' first name.

Anyway, he is so gorgeous, I am so in love with him! His cheeks and jaw line are especially to die for. And although he looks so blokey in his default outfit (and man I love his vest!), he is surprisingly tarty; his back is constantly curved with his chest sticking out, unlike my Williams who slouches more.

No, we know the wallets arrived empty... I just thought it was ironically appropriate, since I'd spent SO much to bring him home! Even if my Shiro had arrived with money in his wallet (dollars or yen), I'm sure he wouldn't have had THAT much left; that is quite a stack you have there. Your boy clearly made a deal with somebody at customs. Kimo would be more likely to come home with a stack of phone numbers, like Izam's boy. ^~

Also congrats to Jo77 on your double-arrival! That's gotta be 10 lbs of joy! Man, that box must have made for SUCH a gruelling walk upstairs. They actually put an SD17 & a Gou into the same shipper?? -- *oof*

Invisiblewingsyukinojo's bod is extremely pleasing to the eye. I send both boys out for repaint the day before, hence the bodies are now headless. Tried williams head on the gou body and... It doesnt fit! Lol! Even big head williams is too small for that muscular neck.

Woah! he's a natural attractive doll!! like he will look good with anything (or nothing!) hehe, I wish I'd have gotten one myself, congrats to you all lucky ones!! Shiro is such a wonderful mold by Volks, he's one of my favorite Volks dolls and that tan skin makes him look so much better in my opinion.

 

I finally bought body stockings and head protection, so I put on Rise's fullset and... the wig is too small But I'm not disappointed, I didn't plan to use that wig for her anyway. And now I can use it for my MSD dolls (because the wig is much better than I expected!), so I'm actually kinda happy with the small wig

 

Daris, it happens with Sakuya's wig, too. >.> Silicone cap will make it even smaller. (_ _) Without it, it fits, but then it will stain... >.>;;;

 

Rise actually has one of the smaller head molds among the DDs. The wigs that I usually have some difficulty with putting on my other girls went easily on Rise. Most of my girls' default (with the exception for Alna's and Airy's) are tight, and it doesn't help that I have two head caps, a silicone one and a fabric one, on my girls before having them wear the wigs. But I found that actually made the wigs go on them more easily and once they're on, they stay there, and never fell off.

 

congrats to all the Volks Party 27 winners - those Shirous look so beautiful! I'm waiting for word on ship date for SDGou Youki. hoping for a few more weeks to replenish my empty purse from stupid neccessities like homeowners insurance. & food.

I have recevied today SDGOU for the JAPANESE Pre-ordered for someone here, and he is amazing ! I envy everybody who have this boy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he have 2 outfits and 2 pairs of shoes Oo !!!!!!! Amazing guy ^^ !!!

VOLKSUSA hasn't even gotten any of their lottery DDs yet, and I'd imagine they'd be shipping the ones to their dealers the same time that they would be shipping out the ones to their winners?

 

My best guess is August. The dolls will get to VolksUSA first, then they will be shipped to the dealers, then the dealers ship to the winners. The whole process takes right around three months.

 

Haha, sorry, I forgot to update my post. ^__^;; I was discussing this on another forum and the speculation there is that it will probably be mid to late August. Thank you guys for answering though!

The VolksUSA website says that they expect dolls to ship out August.

 

I know someone posted on another forum that Volks USA had received the dolls earlier this month - but that's the last I've heard.

 

Kerbey Lane posted on their facebook that Volks had gotten the DP27 dolls and KL may be getting them by the end of the month. So if Volks ships out their dolls when they ship to KL then VolksUSA winners should be getting their dolls by the end of the month too?

 

Does this include Yukinojo? Or just the lottery dolls? I hope we find out soon!

 

Based on the release schedule up on the Japanese site, I think this would be lottery dolls only. Joe will probably be much like Saber and arrive in his own time.
