I have some saved Just have to hope that there isn't anything I want, but Tokyo Boys is my weakness. I can't wait until we see what is on offer. I wonder if I shouls try to stay up for pictures.

Carmen171 and melicat, I hope the both of you can get Ryoya. He's a wonderful doll!! I just wonder if volks will presents us with Tsukasa this dolpa. I even have a printed picture of him up on my closet door, which may be silly lol

The Shining Blade girl looks stunning, and the MDD is ten kinds of cute but if that is a Touhou Project girl (?) then I doubt she'll come to Volks USA.

Risa Kujikawa intrigues me though, her face simply does not look like a DD face but like it could be on a resin doll. Kinda like Excellen and to a lesser extent, Alna. She sure is pretty though! Reminds me of an Abio Angel sculpt.

But no . . . I must resist the DD's. I hope someone posts information about the resin dolls soon! *quivers with suspense*

Yes, she's a Touhou Project girl. Oh man. Cirno. Though she's prob easier to resist than say if it was Remilia or Flandre.

Kujikawa Rise is interesting. She sort of reminds me of what Anais would look like if she was simplified and done in the DD style. Someday, I really need to play Persona 4.

 

Oh... When was the news released about SDGr Ryoya and SD13 Jun? D: But thanks for the news! Now I can be happy! Dolpa PAL will be on April 8... tomorrow! ^^ And then we can see them on YJ! I want to know what kind of Ryoya they'd released this time!

I gotta admit, Sakuya is extremely beautiful @_@ I have never had a DD before but if I wanted to try one it would have to be her. >o<b Lately the DDs are just becoming more and more gorgeous. They've really come a long way.

I am wondering why no one has bothered to take pics of the other parts of the booklet yet. T_T'' I am so anxious to see what is going to be released for this dolpa!

 

Q1: What is a PAL, anyway?

Q2: Are these actual re-releases of Jun & Ryoya, or are they some kinda leftovers that they're just lottery-ing off now? Those photos are of the 1st editions of both of 'em.... If it was a re-release I'd expect a different faceup or outfit.

 

No joy from my usual suspects yet.

Rise is amazing, though, and Cirno is freakin' adorable.

ETA: PALs are kind of a new smaller event. They're mainly a kind of market, and all the dealers have to stick to a specific theme. This time they're doing a Best Selection, I believe, which is kind of like the One-Off lotteries except they offer previous LEs. The Best Selection I saw had all the LEs in their original fullsets and faceups.

I don't have the funds for both boys, though, which is a shame because I so much prefer being able to buy direct from Volks instead of realizing I need a doll long after the lottery has closed. *sigh* I guess I'll wait and see how the rationalizing and hand-wringing work out for me. Sometimes the longing fades, but....sunlight SD17!!

Oh yes, just checked DD, they are so pretty on this Dolpa and I'm so glad that I don't collect DDs, because those two boys is more than enough....

Oh wao~ Bingo! SDGr Jun! She looks different from SD13 Jun (and YoSD Jun) but still pretty! The content (her outfits) of the Dolpa version and AE version is different ... @______@

 

He looks like his jawline has been smoothed out a bit. Makes him look more similar to Alain and his ilk.

 

I defiantly see it as 69cm and I just notice there's a joint in the arm O_o

I must saw I don't own any DD (yet) but Rise Kujikawa has caught my eye

And while both Shiro and Yukinojo look great I think I'm safe from both of them

Hrm. Squinting at this scan, it looks like Shirou is in fact a new skintone called "PS Shadow". I think it says it is a redder skintone.

Maybe it's meant to be a darker tan skin than the sunlight? This Shiro certainly looks like he has a deeper complexion than most sunlights I've come across but I could be wrong. ^^
