Ksusha, so you've had this same error as me? I've still got the item in my cart (I've been refreshing it and even going back to Volks Top page and checking my cart again, it's there), but when I proceed I get the 500 error. Does your post that you linked mean that the item is still available for me and I just have keep trying untill I can get through?

 

Shara, yes, keep trying, it will get through, but it may take an hour... don't forget to keep refreshing the cart.

 

Well, I just got through to the ordering info, I confirmed the payment by Paypal (no charge yet, of course) and now when I click 'Order an Item' (THE LAST STEP!) I get the error again... I'll keep trying though!

Now I just hope I this doesn't mean I'll accidentally order a dozen of these shoes or something. They're lovely, but not that lovely

 

They will not sell you so much, so don't worry Keep refreshing. After 500 errors you can just press "back" and then carry on from that point.

 

I got everything I wanted in my cart from punk girl outfits to brown boots. Now just to decide if I actually want to buy them all...

Well, after several hours of clicking, I got my order confirmation for the shoes (in the end I had to go back to my cart and go through the order info again to make it) Haven't got much sleep, but I'm a happy camper! They are perfect for my Lorina.

 

I also didn't get the outfit I wanted when they restocked (I couldn't sleep and so I tried it again), BUT I could buy the brown vest with chiffon dress and leg warmers. YAY!

Just got an email from Volks informing me of Isao's optional parts - wet wig and Yo-sd hands. Does anybody know if these extra orders come packed together with the doll? Or are they shipped separately on a separate date? At the moment, I'm considering the YO-SD hands. Thanks in advance for the answer.

 

It's shipped separately because they charge separate shipping when you enter for the lottery item.

Icchan has shipped! I hope he arrives on Friday. If he does, it'll be 7 years to the day that I got my very first doll, a full-set Isao II from Haute Doll. I'm so excited! I don't even know what I'm going to name him.

 

Congrats Kaighn, we can't wait to see your box opening photos! Yes, Isao Ver I and II are 7 years old, I am counting the years when my Isao ver 1 turns 10! He isn't a one owner doll but I'm counting his years. I can understand how you feel if your Isao II is a one owner doll!

Did any other Isao winners through VolksUSA get an email that has an incorrect link in it? The link in mine goes to the page with all of Jun's stuff, & none of Isao's.

If you search for isao on VolksUSA's site you'll find the page for the wet wig order. Noticed it today when I was looking for something else.

They will ship the DDs less than a week after you received payment confirmation. Have you received the payment confirmation? It's the email that said your cc has been charged by Volks. ^^

 

i got three emails, one was pre-order confirmation, the second pre-order payment notice and the third was order confirmation with a order number...but i know my cc was charged...im new to this volks japan...thanks so much for your help...anymore advice and info????

I got my shipping notice on Tuesday and my Isao should be here today. He would've been here yesterday but I wasn't home when they attempted delivery. So shipping is hella fast imo.

 

I am new to purchasing from Volks USA, will I get a payment confirmation? I got an email about the lottery for Isao's wet wig but I did not get a payment confirmation email, the credit card was charged. Thanks in advance for the answer.

 

My Jun Tachibana has arrived and she is adorable! When I asked Volks about ordering Yo-Nui Komame and the optional left hand for Jun I was told they will ship them to Japanese addresses only.

Is this usual for Volks?

They don't send payment confirmations, at least I never received it from them. :3 But if you got the e-mail saying you won and the CC was charged, you're all set. XD I asked Volks once and they told me that in case there's any problem with the payment, they would contact the customer before canceling anything, but they don't come in contact if everything went well. :3

 

I got an order confirmation when I placed the order and a payment charge confirmation and shipping with tracking as two seperate e-mails but sent at the same time.

Btw, @calebb, I also got a Millhiore as well as a Mariko sensei, and Mariko was sent about 3 days after the auction, and since she was out of customs in one day I got her in 5 days XD But I got the Millhiore confirmation a week later (maybe someting to do with the fact that they had a few extras from the drawing to sell?) and she's been stuck in customs for a week >_<

This is my first DD so I'm so excited to play with them but I've decided to keep only one (never thought I'd win both since I lost twice in the US drawing) and can't really look at Mariko until Millhiore arrives =_=

I didn't know whetehr to send this through PM but, if it is a scam, the person who hijacked your account would see it.

 

I also got that email...I don't think it's Rochelle after the last email...

 

This doesn't sound like her. The spelling and grammar is nothing like Rochelle. All the posts I have ever seen from Rochelle are capitalized and punctuated properly. This is written like someone who's first language is not English. $1500 is a lot of money to be asking for and this is the perfect place to ask since a lot of Volks dolls are close to that amount. I would not be sending money to this person because as AerynAerie asked where they had met and they couldn't answer points to it not being Rochelle. Mentally unbalanced or not she should understand and be able to answer that simple question.

I sincerely hope Rochelle and her family are safe.

 

It is a scam, please do not send any money! When I googled the contents I found out it's a email scam and that Rochelle's yahoo account has probably been hacked.

I hope no one falls for it :\

 

It's pretty obvious Rochelle's email account has been compromised. It's worded like a scam and Western Union always equals scam. I'm amazed the hacker is actually taking the time to answer email questions though.

I would hold off on sending her any sort of actual sales correspondence until she responds either here on DoA or possibly on their website or Facebook page. And considering that late Tues she was posting pics of their shop on their Facebook page...I'd say she was more than alright and not in London.

 

They posted on fb that they are aware of the situation and are trying to fix it.

 

Wow! Major scammer! No, I just talked to Rochelle via email yesterday, and she sure didn't mention being in London! Or mugged, or needing $1500 from everyone in her email address book. Oh, what a hassle for her. I had one of my email accounts turned into a spammer recently, and it feels like somebody's had his hand up your dress.

 

I hope this get sorted out soon. Maybe Rochelle should get a gmail account instead. I heard it's safer? My Hotmail and Yahoo got hijacked by the same person (who told everyone I was stuck in London when infact I was at home!)... >.> I never got my email addresses back from the scumbag but I did move to gmail (my friends advised me to). (_ _) My friend still has a layaway for a doll from the latest DP release. Hopefully she can still send money to Rochelle...

I got this email too...knew it was a scam. Scary though!

 

Rochelle didn't mention whether she'd be getting a new yahoo address or swapping to another service, but I did hear from her earlier today. She confirmed that they knew about the problem and were working on cleaning it up.

 

That was the first thing I thought when I got that email! I've asked that we all be BCC'ed in the past, but nothing changed. Not that it isn't interesting to see who the lottery competition is, but I prefer a smidge more privacy.

Sadly I lost every email, folder & complete Volks mailing list. So I am in the process of finding a mailing list provider that will send private email notifications out whenever a Volks offer begins. in the meantime once we take orders for Kyoto you can use [email protected] but I should be ready to enter names into a Data base by then. record everyone's info on a sheet of paper complete with payments. and Katherine gets all the PP. We keep folders for every order ever done. Good thing I'm paranoid- ha.
