Re the special items-- when they process the payment, they'll be sending us an email with the instructions for entering the special-items lottery. There's no more special super-secret forms to send in anymore, because it'll all be done on their website (click the link to go to a purchase page).

Also, they said no, they still don't know what the option part will be. XD I guess Japan is keeping everyone in suspense (or waiting till the last minute)!

On the Japanese sales page for Isao (here), they mention the special accessory separately from the option part...

I was assuming that Isao's option part is his outstretched hand.

But for Jun, they list her extra loose-fisted left hand along WITH Komame, and they're both separate from the option part...

Could just be a web formatting oversight, or it could be Jun gets 1 more optional part than Isao does. I wouldn't be able to guess... we'll find out soon enough.

ZOMG cuuuuute... Isao's little boots are so perfect, and the detailing on his shirt is spot-on! The chains & the crisscross stitching, it looks like it's all in the exact same places as the big shirt. No wonder he cost more than usual. And those teensy leather pants crack me up.

I got Isao from the AE lottery! I was upset because I couldn't enter the US lottery due to personal reasons. But when I saw I international lottery was still open on Sunday, I entered for him on a last ditched attempt. I'm so happy! I never expected to actually get him. Now I'll have all 3 versions of Isao.

I'm gonna stalk my inbox obsessively until the shipping notice goes out.

I checked my credit card charge today and Volks successfully deducted the amount for small Isao! I was so worried the credit card might freeze because of the security blanket but apparently, the transaction went off smoothly.

Now, the little fellow has to find his way to my brother's apartment in Ottawa in April as i may not be in Canada during that time. I've come this far, I'm sure it's going to alright.

This has been a very difficult lottery entry for me because of personal reasons, I'm in a major transition. Thanks to DOA friends on this forum who gave valuable advice on how to go about overcoming obstacles. Without such help and sharing of experience, I would not have been able to participate in the lottery.

I like to look at the unboxing pics, its very encouraging. Despite obstacles, I'm glad I entered for small Isao and won. By the way, the small fellow is expensive! Today is my birthday!

 

Jun was my very first Volks doll - full set via Haute Doll - so I'm super excited that I won so I can have her little version!

It's not twin SWD Nonos I'm expecting though, my twins are OE and SWD Nono!

BIG thanks for posting these Ami links! I wondered what sort of face-up the Dolpa 26 Ami would have, and I see she's like the first Ami, sweet and innocent. I own the FDQ Ami (who I adore), and she looks more New York-tough and cynical, LOL!

 

Quick help needed!

I'm trying to order from the AE and I got the item in my shopping cart. However when I cklick to 'purchase this item immediately' all I get is a internal server error. I've gone back to My Volks and refreshed my Shopping cart and the item is stil there. Is it possible however that I didn't get the item? Or is the site just crashed and I should try checkout a bit later?

 

The site works fine for me.
But my internet was too slow and I didn't get the item I wanted. Everything is sold already.

 

Yeah, every other page loads fine now... I've still got the shoes in my cart though but only get the error when I try to proceed with the order.
