Congrats! How were you able to win more than one DSD? All the outfits looked really nice, i really liked the cat ears, i wish they are an option for every doll.

'allo, it was nice to meet everyone! This was my first Dollpa and also my first dip back into the hobby in, uh, 16 years! Wow!

I don't know how I will be able to wait until 2026 for the next one - I haven't had that much fun, well, ever!

I only brought one girl with me, my DDH09:



I've never made anything like this before and it was a stressful 10 days to create everything from scratch, hand dye the feathers, bead everything... o-o;;

 

@LadyLenneth, that's a fabulous costume!!! And I also like her face-up; so cute!

You could attend Resin Rose BJD con next year; with your skills you could easily enter their costume contest; it's all about making almost everything yourself

 

Oh my goodness, you made this!? You had my vote in the contest, I thought it was just marvelous! You are so skilled. Thank you for bringing your girl, she was such a bright spot to me! She really took my breath away

 

It took a while for her to get here due to travel plans, but this lil kitty from LA Dolpa made it home!

OMG HI! Your girl was so amazing, she's actually one of the few pictures I took while I was there. I'm still so impressed by her outfit.

 

If you're referring to the blonde Diamond, it's not like I wiped her...SD16 bodies are too heavy for me, and I wanted to thank my tea party friend for allowing me to plus one with her. She wanted some outfit bits I wasn't ever going to use. I'd hardly call that chopping for parts...

Anyways...it's really nice to see all these Volks photos in one spot! I'll have to dig through and see how many familiar faces I can pick out of the crowd. I'm glad they didn't post the awful pic of me posing with Gil on the afterparty site, lol. I was totally caught off guard when they took it and I laughed SO hard seeing it on Instagram after.

 

@Oculae Your doll is yours to do with as you wish, of course. I was just sad to see her up for sale already when I was hoping to see her around in all of her Strawberry Switchblade finery.

 

Yes, they were by one event-goer! It was insane to watch.

Anyone here turn in a head for the Remakeup service? I’m just wondering if you guys ever got a confirmation email or anything, I only have the little piece of paper they give you off the bottom of the order sheet as my proof

 

I don't think I got an email. I also used the beauty salon in 2019, and searching my email, I didn't get one then either. But I did get an update email in 2019 about the beauty salon item arrival schedules a month before pick up!

 

I received email receipts, @ame_hime. They should also be in your Volks USA purchase history, listed as "Sato". The date is September 8th.
