Volks at CCBJD Northern California Coast BJD Convention June 6 & 7th 2014

Hi Yes they do have a ped walk way. Google maps takes you on a straight path as if you are a car even if you put in you are walking , so if you follow *that* route it makes it looks like you are walking on the freeway or on the side of a road with no curb.Do NOT follow that route, it is unsafe. They need to update their info.



There IS a PED path for people who disembark BART to walk to down town Orinda.

Aprox walk time from Bart to venue is 10 mins

I made a little overview for people who are using google maps to find where they are supposed to walk but if you take another look at the map you can probably find it yourself now. This Bart station is one of the cleaner and safer ones as well.



Go under the overpass



Continue under the overpass until you see the walkway that goes up



Then over the freeway



Then follow the path and you are on the same street the venue is on

fireflytrance No problem! I am actually glad you pointed that out because it is a little misleading( taking people on a dangerous road) Also I know that you wanted to come to our last one in Marin . Sometimes I do wish Bart came out here to us! But as long as BART goes to the venue I am happy with it!


Also guys- I was hoping to do a little photo opp for Volks Super Dollfie Owners. since they are the special Guest . Just a quick display where everyone who brings their Volks Doll can put them on a table and stand together with a Volks Staff members. If you are interested please let me know. I am also organizing a Dollfie Dream one but we may have to combine them both if I do not get enough DD owners. I think it would be a nice show of support for Volks and to thank them for coming out to be at our con.

 

No problem mdonline03 I really hope you can make it too. Who know's when the next time the special guest Volks will come up this way. They have a big year ahead of them with promoting their doll line. Plus there are doll dealers that offer layaway .

Or just come and hang out, I am making my snack list right now for the "Sweet Social Event" free snacks not just cupcakes this year!

I am sorry for the confusion, Luts is a sponsor for CCBJD being they are providing a lot of goodies and doll for give away for the convention but they themselves will not be there. We have different ways companies can participate their is Sponsor, Donor and Vendor. Sponsors give a lot more then say just one item to give away for the convention.

April is right , we do work hard to get sponsors and donors so that we are literally giving away things through out the whole event. I am sorry not to be able to see you this year April.
