VOLKS - Angels Descending Upon Tenshi-no-Sato

I'd really luv to see better pics of the F-46! Such a cute mold. Hope the nose is cute too.

 

One of the sidebars on the page lists three things happening on the Angel's Descending, one of which is the announcement of SD Tenshi series that can only be bought at Tenshi-no-sato. Lower down it refers to limited items. I wonder if the SD Tenshi series refers to Yugiri and co, or there are going to be more "standard" tenshi? O_O

 

Jumping on this thread rather late...but felt the need to post that I would also swoon over a stong-jawed, Sunlight Skin SD17 Boy!

As always, I long for the day that Tenshi wings will be made available for purchase through Volks USA, but to be denied these "angel" wigs too?! It's just painful, especially when Volks teased us by showing the Pink sausage curl style on the Yo Alice wearing that sweet white dropwaist dress in the June Collection.

Lastly, does anyone know who the new calico kitty character is show on Volks Japan? The drawing is really cute, but it's not Komame...unless he snuck out for a dye job at the salon when no one was looking! LOL!

BTW: I am totally there with you on the Yo Tenshi wings...I also wish they made Tenshis available to everyone (even if just as limiteds).

You can also see this kiity drawing on the annoucement talking about the newest edition of Make-up Lessons. In any case, I'd sure love to have a mini of this calico cat to keep my mini Komame company and be another pet for my little Yo bunch.

Just curious ... is anyone going to this event? I'll be there for just the first day (9th). Would love to talk to someone else in line who speaks english.

 

There is a whole group going from Tristate Angels I believe, and you will surely recognize them from Dolpa.

Apparently they revealed an SDGr girl on the last day of the event to Volks VIP members . . . I wonder when the rest of us get to see her? I'm really excited just thinking about an SDGr girl . . .

 

Wow, I was not expecting that at all! I can't even imagine what that might look like. The SDGr body has such a different style from the SD13b body, I wonder if the SDGr girl body would be just as different from the other SD girl bodies.

 

I got a chance to peek at the display in question and the body is actually only just starting to be developed--for a change of pace, Volks is showing a little of the very involved process that goes into making a new body. On display were several grey clay sculptures representing very slight variations on the body type and the VIP members could vote on which ones they liked best and why. All of them were absolutely beautiful, however, and I can't wait to see the finished product! I suspect it'll be a while before that day, however.

Oh, and don't expect pictures--they weren't allowed in that area. ^_^;;

 

takira I'm glad Volks is asking for input from customers on the design.
I imagine making a girl Grafitti body might be difficult to add all the new joints and maintain a smooth feminine look.

 

Thank you so much for the insight, takira. Were you one of the lucky few to see the protypes? Would you be able to describe how many types and how'd they look like? And did you choose one as well? I'm very curious to know.

I'm hoping that the SDGr body type will have more curves like the 60cm Unoss body. A generous segway between the younger SD bodies and the SD16 mature bodies. Perhaps a little thicker in the thighs but thinner legs in order to make it look more robust while also letting it fit in previous SD clothing.

 

I was lucky enough to see these as well and I have to say, they were drop dead gorgeous - pretty much exactly what you were hoping for, Daniel. Beautifully strong shoulders, gorgeous hip bones and more mature than SD13 girls, but not as curvy as the SD16. Both athletic and feminine with really naturally shaped breasts. I was really impressed. I think someone at Tenshi no Sato said they're aiming for a June 2011 release. One can only hope!

I like the yellow colour wigs~ They looks so pretty! But volks usa won't sell those wigs, rights?
