Hey everyone! so i decided to try to make my very own bjd doll for the first time ever. My journey first started with sculpting on z-brush, then i was ready to 3D print her, the next step i did was to add sculpey baking clay... now i wasn't sure at first if the filament would be affected, so i did some research before i put it her the oven. Turns out that baking filament in an oven around 200 degreese up to 4-5 hours is actually a necessary process to dry out filament so that it becomes harder. moisturer in filament can actually warp your print. Anywho i only had to bake the clay for 15 minutes so that was absolutely fine to put the filament wrapped in clay into the oven! (If you plan to do this, please wear a mask for protection, and have well ventilated area, the smell from the filament can be slightly irritating... and there is no reason why you should take any chances with breathing in plastic fumes.) I am still in the process of working on her lower body but her head, faceup, and chest are all done, and came out beautifully. i am so happy with how she looks. she fits in dollfie dream clothes or smart doll clothes. I plan to make her legs rabbit like since she is a jackalope. she will also have antlers. her ears represent a floppy eared rabbit. She is going to be about 60CM tall
