I had thought of Shiwoo as Louis.....the one on the www.dollmore.com website wearing the white, lace groom costume.
I tried to buy him as my first bjd, but, alas he was sold and they just didn't take him down from the website.

The Vampire Lestat is my favorite book of all time (well, HP:PoA tied with it, but I've read both dozens of times). OMG I love Lestat...

Do you mind if I ask how you got him to hold the body in pose when he is standing or walking? The lower "hip" joint seems to slip so easily on Durer.

Had used the moleskin on the others, as it is easy to get and didn't stop to think about the genuine article with it's roughed out side. Wonder if deerskin would work as well, also. Thanks so much!! I have never read *ANY* Anne Rice.... or even seen one of the movies based on her books... I really wouldn't be able to say how much or how little he resembles Lestat...er... -san.

I just remember when I showed one of my friends the D.o.D. Yen (standard) pictures from the official Dream of Doll website (http://www.dreamofdoll.com >english>DoD>Yen(non tender version)), she mentioned that he reminded her of ...Armand, I think...

I just wish I could find the perfect blond wig... I've already found his eyes, and I've been working on some patterns for some period clothes with all that lavish lace and silk that my darling Lestat so loved. (It's so sad- I'm even trying to find a scale microphone and guitar for his 'rock star' phase!) Yeah, it's safe to say I'm pretty pathetic...

I've got mixed feelings about all that. Didn't read the books, but I saw the movie. And I picked up on the hair and on the nails and got the same vibe I got from Hanson: "Damn, these guys are not allowed to be pretty! They're better coiffed and manicured than I am on the best of days!"

Such is showbiz. But when it works, it works. *sigh* And damn if that doll isn't realistic. Go go le tigre go. Such a shame, though, that BJDs have empty heads...

It's an English-speaker's site... and she had a number of galleries... I can't really remember the dolls. A tleast one F28, most likely.. and she (I'm assuming) had an Akira.
I think she also had a LOTR cosplay.

Vincent is handsome as always. I love Bermann/Vincent... I love vampires/Lestat... so IMO there's no way you can go wrong putting them together!

That berman mold has to be the BEST male of all of em. Wish there was a way to still get one. So incredibly handsome.

I am an Anne Rice freak, and have read all her books a couple of times. To me, the Crees and Coe Lestat is unbelieveably fabulous, but the Louis, though a beautiful doll, just isn't Louis tome. I alwasy thought that mold looked more how I pictured Armand.

Louis is more youthful, and sadder rather than intense.
