Villitunes waiting room!

Waiting on a Mizuki in Blumnt! It's such a good name for the color too.

 

I ordered a Loppi Moon a few days ago, just waiting for email to pay. I read they may not be doing another preorder for these for several years so I am debating on buying a Mizuki too.

 

I read this in the comment section on the cyclops news section, so unless I am reading it wrong...
In another comment someone asked when the preorder will end for them and Villitunes responded once they are all sold. I am guessing there are a certain amount of each and once that is reached that is it until 2025?

 

How long does it normally take to get invoiced for payment? I do plan to buy a second one, but I wanted to ask when I get the invoice if I can just add it together or if I have to make a separate order.

 

I did send a message through the site telling her I wanted to add a doll, so I am hoping to hear something soon

Edited to add, I got my invoice today and added a second doll. Now to wait for the invoice on the second one and the wait begins lol

Does anyone know of any clothes that fit them? I wanted to buy a few sets but I really wanted a second doll over getting clothing. I may get some sets in the future but for now I just wanted to be sure I got the dolls before they are gone.

For anyone that didn't see make sure if you want one you get them now because the artist said she won't do another order for them until around 2025!

 

Waiting on a Cyclops Mizuki in light pink and Loppie-MOON in green tea I got the Zombies Outfit and the Nizblarian Outfit as well since I wasn't sure when I'd get to order from the artist again c: Hopeful to get them by the end of 2022 but I know lots of people have been waiting on Minami's, Lamons and Mimi chu's Got them as a birthday gift since they won't be avaible for a long time ;w;

Did a little searching on Insta and found some cyclops wearing Na! Na! Na! Surprise dolls ( the smaller ones) Login • Instagram and Login • Instagram but most people only have them in Vill's clothes

 

I'm on 15 months of my Villitunes Lamoon order from October 2020- I'm so glad this waiting room exists because I was starting to lose track of the time on this wait. I didn't get a faceup, but I did get eyes and a couple outfits so I will continue to wait patiently, but omg... the suffering of anticipation hit me really hard a few days ago! It did comfort me that she updated about them arriving to her, I just can't wait to get mine... definitely will see her coming home this year I think. Fingers crossed!

 

Hi everyone! I'm also going to be joining this wait room- I preordered a Villitunes Cyclops Mizuki in Chocolate in August! I also ordered the Cow Outfit as well as the Baby-heart eyes At first I ordered via layaway but I misinterpreted the invoice and paid it all in full anyhow I can't wait to see everyone else's!

 

I guess I should check in here, since I ordered a Loppi Moon (and some outfits for her) back in August as well.
I'm really looking forward to getting her -- I love Villi's cyclops. :3

For people still waiting on earlier pre-ordered dolls, Villi has posted on her site that she will be shipping them all out in February.

 

Hi everyone! I ordered a Mimi-chu in grey from the 2020 pre-order. I also added a witches set and eyes to my order late last year.
I emailed Villi about a month ago, to make sure she had received my change of address and she replied that my Mimi-chu was due to ship on the 14th February. She also offered me a second chance of grabbing her face-up, which I accepted, so I'm not sure if she has shipped on time.

 

Has anyone gotten their packages yet ? I’m assuming with what is happening with Russian and Ukraine right now, shipping plans may have changed.

 

Hey all, I've also ordered a lamoon back in 2020 that I'm waiting on.

 

I assume you haven’t gotten any updates either ? They were all supposed to be shipped in February. I’ve contacted her many times. Email, Instagram DM, comments, etc and have never received a reply. I’m a patient person but she’s had the dolls since July and has given very rare updates, no work in progress shots. Nothing. But has continued to update and open with new preorders. I’ve seen nobody saying they’ve gotten their dolls yet…. I’m starting to worry. I had a decent sized order and all i ask is for communication.

i would love to hear if anyone has recieved their dolls from the 2020 Mimi-Chu/lamoon/minami preorder. Or at least emails about shipping. Ease my mind guys.

 

She posted that she was sick the past two weeks, on Insta. I swear she seems to have the worst health luck.

I'm desperate... I've been trying to contact Villi since January. I've sent her dm's, emails... but never get a reply. I am very concerned I am patient and understanding, I only ask for a little communication...

 

Villi posted some answers on her site today, and on her Insta stories about her shipping more dolls.

 

Super excited to see that Kimikos and Cyclops are currently in factory production, at least! I hope her health is making a steady recovery.

 

I'm going to join in here - I'm waiting on the 2019 Preorder of Mizuki, and the 2020 order of Lamoon. I'm not sure if this is considered off-topic for the waiting room, but I'd LOVE to hear if anyone confused in March/April has received their dolls yet.

Villi isn't often on the Discord, but many people there are also waiting. Villi hasn't come in and said anything for a while, so we don't have much more information than the last time this thread was updated.

No, still waiting. I ordered several outfits as well.

I did not, though granted I'm one of the more recent preorders (August 2021). I'm already accounted for on the Discord server for unfulfilled orders I do hope Villi is alright.

 

In the Discord, the moderator sent an e-mail to her re: all the people that were missing dolls in the server. We haven't heard back yet...She did come in and chat for a while back in July or so, though. Hopefully she's still well! It makes an overall very antsy waiting experience. Concerning on many fronts

 

Sorry to double-post, I did want to leave a message to those who are here but not on the Discord - we have not gotten a reply to our order inquiry e-mail, but someone did get an address confirmation for their order recently, on the 17th. So Villi is ok by the looks of it. I was starting to feel pretty worried about her since we hadn't heard anything, so I just wanted to post a little update since social media/etc. hasn't heard from Villi in some time.

 

Villi has posted on her Insta today that she has finally received the cyclopses from the factory, and is currently sending out earlier ordered dolls and such.

 

I actually wanted to ask here, has anyone who was previously waiting received any functional tracking information/shipping notice...?

While I do tend to flip-flop between forgetting this order entirely and being super impatient, I feel a bit concerned that she said she's shipping out orders from Lamoon/Mimichu/HC Minami preorder, when my Minami from the order prior (December 2019) is still unshipped. She gave me an address confirmation back in February, which I inquired about last week, but she didn't respond...

On the Discord, there are people waiting on orders even older than 2019 Minami too

 

So the other day Villi posted pics and info, claiming that chocolate and green Loppi will be among dolls she will be shipping out next week. Since my order was for a green Loppi, I will post here any updates I receive about mine.

 

Has anyone heard anything about the Lamoon order from 2019?

Honestly, getting clear info from her is incredibly difficult.

If you haven't recently poked her for an update, maybe email her again with your order number and see if you get a reply (even tho that's usually not reliable, since she's being active atm you might get a direct answer).

I haven't tried to contact her about mine yet, but will next week if I haven't heard anything by then.

 

No info on my order so far, but another person got their cyclops.

 

Over a month ago I sent a strongly worded email to Villi demanding for a response of some kind on my order that I've been waiting on for three years. She gave me a singular reply back saying that she emailed me and it must have gone to my spam or something, and order confirmation details.

I have emailed her three times since then and have not heard anything back. I'm really at my wits end. Hope you others waiting get more luck than I.

 

I'm also getting pretty cheesed waiting - I've emailed her a few times since the last time I posted here, and haven't gotten any response. It feels sort of like begging - I'm not even asking her for a shipping notice, just literally ANY information. I didn't order the dolls with faceups, but I did order clothes/eyes, so is the hold up those? For 3 whole years (we just passed the 3-year mark, on 12/19). I did say that I'd turn to simply requesting a refund should I get past the 3-year mark, though of course that e-mail has also gone unanswered.

I'm so disappointed, I do already have a Mizuki at home, which I ordered clothes and accessories for with my Minami in December 2019. It feels sad to let that go, but at this point I'd almost really just rather have the $1000+ of my money that I've gotten nothing for back I almost feel like the people waiting on her orders are too quiet, does anyone normally wait more than a couple of years for a doll they've already paid in full with 0 communication??

 

This was my first order from Villitunes, and I have also received nothing but radio silence. I ordered a bare-bones Lamoon in October of 2020. I have now given up on the doll, although I would still sorely like to have her. I don't think I'll actually get her. I am pretty upset because I think the money is long gone, but I'm more upset because this was my first time ordering directly from an artist. It has been an experience for sure.

On Dec. 30th I received a tracking number email from Villi. Tracking information still says that the package is still waiting to be dropped off at the carrier's, so...

 

Yeah, she's gone totally silent again since late December.

 

Just wanted to pop in and add to the waiting room. I ordered a Mimichu back in 2020. October 2022 I finally got a response from my many emails with a tracking number. As of today that tracking number has not moved. I am also in the states. I just sent another email and a dm on insta today (the third one since October 2022) regarding said tracking and asking for refunds as I'm now past the time I'm willing to wait.

 

Please keep us posted if your tracking updates / at least if it's at the post office..!!

I sent her an e-mail on October 16th to no response and again on December 10th, requesting a refund if I didn't get any information (not even a shippinng notice - just information! (sigh)). Of course, I got no response to that either.

Please keep us updated if you hear anything. I know I'm quite vocal about my disappointment but this simply feels like we've been scammed. Not even apologies from Villi for the waits, or any updates or information.

I got muted in the discord for likening it to a scam, as well - Villi has always been a wonderful source of positivity, I wouldn't wish her anything bad. But does that make taking thousands of dollars from people for a product she won't even send updates about okay? It makes me feel like I'm overreacting - but what other scenario do you pay this much money for something that you get nothing back about for YEARS?

 

You are not over reacting. I am in the discord as well and it only seems like just lately people are starting to actually be upset. Im glad action is being taken but this should have been called out MUCH sooner. I know a lot of things are happening for Villi the past few years but that is no excuse to not respond or give updates on a situation and/or offer refunds for the people who no longer wish to wait. Obviously I hope that she is in good health. But it is not ok to take large amounts of money from people for the love a niche hobby we are passionate about and not update. Very unprofessional. The fact that she is still coming out with new pre-orders but there are orders from 2019 still not fulfilled? Unbelievable.

 

She's deluded if she thinks people aren't going to read her the riot act if she appears from the void and tries to open a new preorder before this is all resolved.

I'm waiting on a Lamoon from the October 2020 pre-order. The last e-mail I received was back in October of 2022 telling me that she was working on my order and that it would be shipped soon. She also asked me to confirm my address. I'm thinking that the e-mail was a stall tactic. I haven't heard anything since. I know she has had health issues, but this is starting to get ridiculous. At this point, I don't really want the doll anymore and am planning on selling it. I think it's pretty useless to ask for a refund. From what I have read on this thread and the discord server, she doesn't give refunds. I ordered the doll plus clothes, wigs etc, which added up to approximately $600 USD. I've pretty much written it off in my mind. Even if I do get the doll, I probably won't get the full amount back on the secondhand market. With inflation being what it is, most of the time you take a hit on selling a doll secondhand. I'm pretty frustrated at this point and this is the first time I have ever ordered a doll from Villi. I would never buy a doll directly from her again. On the secondhand market I bought a Minami last year and am pretty happy with it.

Sorry for the rant. But it's nice to know there are other people out there who understand what i'm going through.

 

I've been going back and forth on selling mine if I ever receive them - the saddest thing is I also have my Mizuki that I bought secondhand, and I really love her. It's a shame buying direct from Villi has come to this.

I think, at least as the market stands currently, you'd be fine to sell your doll - I tend to look at the sales tags on some social medias and I haven't seen a Villi doll go unsold. Usually they're gone within a few hours - I try not to be super impulsive, and usually if I think whether I should buy it or not, it's gone before I can send an inquiry...lol

I'd say worst case, put it up for a price to break even, if it doesn't get interest, then lower it later. I think there's a high demand for fans of hers that didn't place these orders, they have all the desire we have (had...) but without the frustration of spending the money and fruitlessly trying to communicate for months/years.

I'm so burned out at this point, I hope everything works out but just for my own emotional state I'm pretending my doll just doesn't exist. If she shows up one day I'll be happy but I'm just so sad for everyone involved in this right now.

 

I commented on her newest insta post, seeing as we are in the process of house hunting and may be moving soon so I'm desperate. She actually responded and is re-sending the doll to an updated address supposedly. Fingers also crossed over here! Kindly commenting on her insta posts may just be the way to go. She seems to be trying to pick everything back up lately.

I sent Villi an email two weeks ago asking about my package since the tracking (still) hasn't updated with any movement, got a reply from her on the same day saying that she emailed the invoice to the mail service. Not really sure what that means, though.

 

Since it's been some months since my last post here I'm not sure whether to edit the last message or make a new one? A lot happened after Villi finally sent out my package. I was so happy to finally receive the box, only to find out that I had been sent someone else's order! Thankfully I was able to locate the real owner of the order and turns out they had gotten mine. We both contacted Villi on the mix-up and we sent the orders to each other directly rather than dealing with any further messiness. It was a long journey, but at least the wait was finally over. Would not like to repeat this process again, and my heart goes out to anyone who is still standing by on any news from Villi on previous orders.

The alert from this reminded me to update too Villi posted some shipping stuff on June 7th, in what I believe is the last time she posted publicly - it ended up being my order, and while I never heard from her regarding a confirmation of shipping or a tracking number, the package arrived July 10th! She also included a few little bonuses - an extra set of eyes for each, and some outfit accessories. Frankly, they still don't seem real. lol.

I messaged her to let her know it arrived and to thank her, but I never got a reply from her. I'm hoping she's okay, I'm not sure if anyone has received orders/correspondence since June. I often have my phone notifications off or take days away from social media, so I'm not sure if she's posted since then, either...

I don't even have pictures to share - I love them dearly and they're still out of their boxes, but I haven't installed their eyes or anything...it's somewhere between not believing they're here and trouble processing the whole ordeal that led to the fact that they're here.

Still, it's amazing to have them. I wish I could pay the good fortune forward to people who are still waiting.

 

The comments on the website are still people having been waiting multiple years. I feel awful for them, when I ordered in the past (I don't have the dolls now) it was such a fast and smooth transaction.

Looks like the last she replied publicly was November 2023.

I was thinking about replacing the dolls I'd sold, luckily I saw the comments and this thread
