Anyone else order in the latest Mizuki pre-order???
I just had to snatch up a pink Mizuki, she won't be here to around december, but i am so excited.

 

I got a pink one as well! I'm waiting for the Sailor clothes to drop on the store for Mizuki so I can purchase one for her

There will be another Mizuki pre-order I believe later this year ^__^

 

Aghhh YEEEES i wanted that too, i had kind of hoped they would be up when we ordered, but it works out better if she does them a bit later, that way i can afford to buy lol.
I need a minifee first though.

I'm coming up on my last layaway payment for my lemon Mizuki and I'm starting to feel the wait lol. And I think they're not even due to ship until November or December so I don't know what I'm going to do with myself!

 

Same! I also got yellow! Its my absolute favorite colour ,and I think it suits Mizuki so well!

 

Thanks, y'all! I had planned on getting violet, but when I saw the mint it was game over for me! XD She has a custom eye by Lemon Jelly, I had to sand it, it was from one of his first batches that were really large. It's a solar system. ^^

This is kind of a weird question, but can anyone see the Mizuki shipping schedule on Villitunes' website? When I try to look at the notice, all I get is this:

I'm just wondering if there was an update that I'm missing for some reason!

 

I just tired it last night and couldn't see it either (I looked in case there was a mention of a next preorder). I thought it was my adblock, disabled it, but that didn't change anything. I guess maybe that's locked for some reason?

Btw, as far as the next preorder goes, she said she was planning to offer Mizuki again in April 2019

 

Ms. Villi got back with me, and yes, Mizuki will go on pre-order in April! She also mentioned that the bunny cyclops she's posted a couple of pictures of (Loppy, I think is what she called it for now) will also go on sale next year (probably her later in the year preorder, she seems to do two or three a year). Just thought I'd let you all know that there's another cyclops on the way!

 

Hey everyone! I’ve been in contact with Villi a lot and I told her of my plans to bring my Mizuki to Japan with me, and I think she rushed my order to make it happen!

My pink Mizuki showed up just yesterday. Still need to get some silicone to stick her eye in, so it may take me awhile before I can take some pics, but she's very cute. She got here pretty quick, too - I received a shipping notice on the 24th and she made it here on the 29th. I'm in the US.

That is quick! Especially for shipping from Russia. That gives me a lot of hope I haven't seen anyone get a yellow one yet; I wonder if she's shipping in color batches?

 

Mizuki is finally here!! I ordered her on 4/28/18 and she arrived 2/5/2019 so it was about a 9 month wait but she’s worth it cause it’s such a precious little thing! I got one of the Sailor Moon eyes, a wig and an outfit for her! Now to find my putty so I can put the eye in her! Thank you so much for her and the gifts Villitunes

I've officially hit 10 months wait and I'm soooooo antsy! My Mizuki hit US customs on Feb 28th and seems to be taking quite the leisurely trip to get here.

My wife ordered and received a Dollshe boy via layaway before I got my Mizuki! Has anyone else gotten theirs in the last month? Can you share some pictures?

 

Oh, dear! That's pretty bad when a Dollshe arrives in less time! Mine took a bit over 6 months to arrive and I thought that was pretty long... Have you contacted them to check on your order? I hope your Mizuki arrives soon!

 

I did contact Villi back in February, mostly because I hadn't seen an address verification yet and I was worried my email had eaten it. My Mizuki has shipped already - it's just that this final stretch of waiting for the package has been tortuously long! She shipped on Valentine's day via EMS and just hit US customs last Friday.

I'm not upset with Villitunes or anything - she's only one person after all, and the last few preorders have really blown up in popularity. And it's not like she can control the Russian post. I'm just so anxious for my Mizuki to get here!

 

Oh... Russian Post can take time, it's true. At least it's moving!

And yes, I think things go slower because Villitunes is an artist-run business. I don't blame them, either. I was just wondering if something may have been lost or forgotten--but it seems that it's just a case of everything going at a slow pace in your case. Things should go faster now that the package is in the US, though! Good luck!

Meet Sunny Beeps!

I'm just in love with her! She's so cute, surprisingly solid and easy to pose

The clothes I bought with her are very cute but the fit isn't super great (I bought the pink striped overalls as well and I think they'll need to be taken in before she can really wear them) - but they weren't very expensive so it's no big deal. It just means I'll have more excuses to sew silly cute things for her after all!

I'll post a full box opening a little bit later. I'm so happy to have her!

Thank you! It's funny, she isn't nearly as bright yellow as she appears in photos - it's actually a relatively subdued color with a bit more orange than you'd expect. But she very reliably photographs a much more bright, saturated "lemon". I was a little surprised when I unboxed her but I like it now!

 

Soooo - can we discuss Mimichu here as well?

I've been watching her progress on Instagram but it looks like she posted the preorder info on DoA this morning! Very exciting!

 

I think discussion of all Villitunes dolls here should be OK! (Unless anyone objects?)

I have to announce that I have officially ordered my very first Villitunes doll!
I ordered a Mimi-chu in light grey skin
And hopefully still have enough funds to get a Mizuki in April too hehe

She said at some point that it would be April, but since she pushed back the Mimichu order til now, I bet she changed her plans for Mizuki too.

I ordered Mimichu too! I'm really thrilled I was able to make it happen. I got her in blueberry!

I'm afraid I might be addicted... even after waiting almost a year for my Mizuki I immediately went back and ordered Mimichu... and I'm already thinking about what color I would want a Lamoon in...

Just look at this face though... she clearly needs a big sister.

It's a Barbie shirt! It doesn't close all the way down her back, but the overalls cover the open part so it doesn't matter.

Finally got around to taking a pic of my pink Mizuki this past weekend. Here she is in her mouse outfit:

 

Thank you so much! I haven't actually found any, sadly. I can confirm that she wears a 7/8 wig. The banana shirt is a Barbie top, but it doesn't close all the way down (so maybe loose-fitting t-shirts would be okay?). Everything else I bought from Villitunes. Now that I'm done sewing for con I'm definitely going to try and make her some things! She needs a tutu at least!

 

Hey all! I'm expecting a Lamoon soon, and I couldn't find a specific wig size. Does anyone know what size wig they wear? Thanks!

 

Has anyone ever tried buying things sized for an MSD and putting them on their dolls? I'm wondering if MSD skirts and shorts might be the right size? (Then again, everything for MNF means they're all too small!)

@Haunted Doll I know Villitunes said she wears "1/4" wigs, so I would guess 7-8? I sure wish she would give detailed measurements!

 

@A Wee Tiefling The results of my try-on session were disappointing to say the least! MSD clothes are way too big. Most Yo sized things are also too big, except for a few things that are too small to go over her behind. EVERYTHING is way too long. Maybe a short yosd skirt with elastic would work (as a longer skirt) or Minifee shorts or short skirts? Basically Mizukis needs their own wardrobe. If I find more bits and pieces that fit though, I'll be sure to share with the class!
