The season's not great for outdoor photos, so everyone's been hanging out on the couch. If pics are broken, it's all on my BJD blog... . . I. Aix and Crane Some burdens you can only share with another seraph. . . II. Simurgh and Aix They're pretty different personalities, but they might find some things in common. . . III. Falcon and Griffin The best friends chill. . . IV. Griffin and Aix They may never have met, if they weren't both staying at this sanctuary. . . (...cont'd...)
(...cont'd...) . . V. Simurgh and Falcon . . Selected pics . . If pics are broken, it's all on my BJD blog as usual (with tons more photos). Thank you for viewing~
It's so cute to see them all interact 1:1 like this, forming new friendships and relationships I love the theme and am thinking of getting some furniture for my own gang now.
Always nice to see the besties chillin together :3 Val is so relaxed! This bob wig on Syr is very cute! It looks like the perfect shade! Maybe one day she'll get a smile The shot over Oshidori's shoulder is very cute!
@cobaltconduct The crew were very expressive. I enjoyed the character development I had to do while shooting this series, even figured out how everyone takes off and puts down their shoes I hope you have a chance to do it too - it's great fun and I'd love to see other people's take on it! @nyaaain Glad you enjoyed them! The two friends have great chemistry, always love taking pics of them ^^ Syr's new wig is perfect, she'll wear for a while. I don't know if she'll ever get a smile out of Justinian - maybe a less glum face is the best he can muster, ahah.
"Smiling on the inside," lololololololol I especially like the shots of Aix reading over Simurgh's shoulder
Wow, such great details in your photos! I really like the shot looking down at the doll with the magazine - looks so real!
@beamlette I guess that's Justinian's default state of being, haha. I was trying to figure out what character relationship Syr and Oshidori (aka Simurgh and Aix) would have... I think the pics have given me a character dev hook now. @Aether Coffee Thanks! I love the overhead pics too, it gives different kind of expression to the pics.
@Arengil Thank you. A written story will be an interesting to try. I've written fiction (for fun) before, and I enjoy BJD photography because I can show the dolls' story indirectly without needing to write words too. Their story is mostly slice of life and it'll probably end up being dialogue heavy. Nevertheless, I'll see if I can add more dialogue and words to future photos. Thank you for suggesting this, it's a good challenge!
