I really need a simple dark bob in 6-7" Tiny/Unoa size, for my incoming Lami to be this character. The problem is, I can find pure black alright, but a lot of them seem very dull/colourless, while I need something more fun, and I was wondering if there are places that sell wigs that are very dark, but still have a bit of colour to them? Something very saturated is what I'm looking for ideally - either a really dark wine, red, purple or blue. (It can be uniform, or a mix of different colour strands). Kind of like this: It's dark, but it still has some colour. Any help is greatly appreciated!
The color you posted in the photo is considered a dark chocolate brown, yes I am a colorist. I would say Crobidoll's black it is black but not jet/blue black. They make really nice quality wigs to boot. Good luck with your search. If your looking for a dark wine crobidoll also makes a wine color.
This wig color from Usagihime looks close, though it's definitely more of a blue tinge. I have a penchant towards mixed blue/black wigs myself (as opposed to the normal black that is everywhere). ^^
http://formydoll.com/shop/step1.php?number=679 For My Doll has a bunch of different colors listed in which you can order that wig.
as Tsukidoll said I would recommend Crobidoll as their black hairs tends to have natural, dark-brown black color. I have also heard their wigs are well-made
Tsukidoll, Rosemarygarden, Silver, Tangerine - thank you for the recommendation! I ordered a Crobi wig for now, but I'll continue my search in hopes of finding something else! And Tsukidoll - thanks for the information about the hair colour! It's very beautiful. Quiet Queen Oh, shucks! They don't even make it for their Yo's?
Luts ( www.eluts.com ) has several wigs in smoky black, natural black and some in dark wine, those are close to what you're looking for^^.
This wig from DZ is a very dark brown with wine highlights. It's really pretty in person, and looks a lot like what you are going for!
They have this similar one in Yo-SD/SDCute size (which I think is a little closer to 7 than 6") but yea I have this wig for one of my boys and I really love the color! http://www.volksusa.com/w104cchoco.html
Watch for Leekeworld to have seasonal colors. They have had some really nice deep shades of blue and whine. They currently have a dark blue and black mix you may want to check out.
