Shipping USPS didn't deliver package, but took notice

    1. USPS tried to deliver two boxes on Saturday, but I wasn't home. So I signed both notices and left them for my mother to claim them today (Monday.) I guess she didn't realize that the two notices were for two different boxes. :doh

      So, she gave both notices to him and he only gave her one box :evil:. I printed all my information and scheduled another redelivery telling them they didn't deliver my box and the mail person took both notices. I'm hoping they deliver tomorrow. But, if they don't what will happen? The package is insured and traceable.

      Has anyone else experienced this?

It's best that you physically go to the post office and give them your ID so they can go to the back to look for the other package (that is if the tracking on-line says they are both delivered when they are not). Otherwise you can show them that on-line tracking only showed one packaged delivered and not both.

      This happened to me before too where I received 1 notice for package. So when I went to pick up that one package with the notice of course they only gave me one. Then when I tracked on-line it said I actually had two notices left for me and not just one. But I never found that notice. So had to go back a few days later and show them my ID, the tracking number (no notice) and explain things to them. They found the package in the back and gave it to me.
