urgent question about payment problem iplehouse!

The payment takes time to process through iplehouse. I only bought from them twice but it took a couple of business days to update.

 

Don't worry - a lot of BJD companies take a bit of time to confirm payment and update the status. When I ordered my first BJD a few years ago, I had to directly transfer funds through paypal to a given address, and I was so paranoid that I was going to do it wrong that I watched that order status like a hawk. It took 3 business days, and then the status was changed to 'Paid' and I didn't hear another word until she actually arrived - not even a shipping notification.

I know it's a bit stressful to think there was a problem with the transaction on your end, but trust me - this happens all the time and while it's a bit nerve-wracking, nine times out of ten there isn't a problem at all, it's just a delay in processing. If your bank says the money's been transferred, you've completed your part of the transaction, and you have the evidence to back it up if there is a problem.

 

I've had this happen on Iplehouse many times, they tend not to update to paid until open hours their time. So if you order and it's the middle of the night for them it can take until morning their time for the status to update. Also if you happen to be a night person like me and order a doll while they are open it can still take a few minutes to an hour or so to update status to paid.

I think it's because an only website and some things are done by hand.

Edited to add: if it was ordered on a weekend it can take till the next Monday. And orders over holidays can take longer too.

As long as you have the paypal emails saying it's all good you are fine keep checking back and if it doesn't change after a few days poke them on the Q&A board about it.
