      [previous message deleted turns out "she" is a scammer and I'm sadly one of this person's victims]

    2. In the US, an unverified Paypal user of a Personal account doesn't need to have a credit card on file, just a bank accoun. They have a limit as to how much they can spend and take in before they must add a credit card.

      My rule is, never buy from an unverified seller.

      I suggest you file a complaint with Paypal. You can give the seller like 2 days or so to respond and if they don't then you can turn it into a claim, which the seller has 10 days, I think to respond and if they don't then Paypal gives you your money back.

      Good luck!

    3. thank you for the reply!^ ^
      I'll go check if my payment mentions if she is a verified seller or not and then
      judge what I should do...
      I'm not completely sure about the situation and I don' like jumping to conclusions but I don't wanna be too late either...:sweat
      and she keeps posting to the forum on threads but received and ignored my "is everything set?" PM after 11 days and the next one I've sent her she has ignored it completely(it's still sitting in my outbox)...I know for a fact she communicated with the other user during the days I pmed her who is now,after paying getting the cold shoulder as well...:|

    4. It's absolutely possible to have a PayPal account with no credit card attached. Not just in the US :) but here in Europe, too.

      For years, I had a PayPal account with no credit card. The whole REASON why I opened a PayPal account was because I didn't have a credit card (we're not born with these things after all, and *by choice* I didn't want one) Whenever I met my Sending Limit, I opened a new one. See I was (am, actually) making money by selling 3D computer generated models, and I'm paid for them via PayPal.

      So just because you don't have a verified account doesn't necessarily mean you're a fraudster. There are many places where it's not at all common to possess a credit card.

      Personally I got fed up with the constant changing accounts, so I ended up getting a CC and a Verified account, but please don't let all red lights go off just because someone isn't Verified :)

      Another thing is, I don't think PayPal can access whatever money you have in your bank, should you do that "grab the money and run" trick, even on a Verified Account. Of there's no money on your PayPal, they can't refund them to anyone. I know of several people here and elsewhere who has been scammed, and was just told by PayPal that "sorry there's nothing to refund, the person's PayPal account doesn't have sufficient funds" - what I do not know is whether or not this was always with unverified accounts. But you could always phone PayPal and ask, they're very nice to talk with :) Sometimes they're a little hard to understand, depending on where in the world their Call center is (the European one is in Ireland and some of the employees are VERY Irish *L*)

      I'm not saying you're not being scammed, mind you. And doing what you describe is definitely possible. :(

    5. lol! I love the Irish accent,XD....

      that's exactly my fears..."remove CC or bank account information ad run away"
      I've also heard the "sorry the account has no funds we can draw a refund from"
      story happening to quite many people and this case has all the patterns(I don't wanna
      open up about details but there are some very fishy behaviors patterns..)

      I"m not implying all non verified accounts are frauds!!O.o;
      I was once a long-term non-verified user myself and there's no reason to
      cast a shadow upon these users..^ ^;
      this can be done by any kind of paypal user I guess.

      I'm sure I may being irrational so I feel kind of bad but wanted to
      discuss that and get some facts straight...

    6. You are not. I should as anxious as you are after waiting a so long time.

      Perhaps also, she receives your mail but does not see them because they are considered as spam. One time, I sent to a seller 4 or 5 time exactly the same mail in a close following... 4 same title following, even in the middle of spam the seller noticed and answered me

    7. Hi Lysewein I have had the same thing happen to me when a user send me a FS email and included pictures attached...it took me a while to find it in my junk emails so then I stopped using a filter and just mindlessly erase any spam making it's way to my email...lol...

      In updating news I'm pretty sure it's not going to end really smoothly...T T
      I've come in contact with more than 9 other members having a transaction with the user that we have connected communication with and NONE has received anything yet...Moderators on the forums are in close watch and wait for the first possible negative feedback to shut the user's "peculiar" sales threads down..it's been nothing ever since I paid at the 9th of April...She's never had any feedback left for her as a "seller" and her "Buyer" ebay-only feedback date back to just one month(with already some negative feedback from unpaid bidding)..And I have just found out some extra information about this user that are unspeakable for a seller to do!!!O.o;

      I trusted this user cause of the intimacy and how really forward and kind was and I hadn't foreseen all the negative information that were going to be "added in the pile" but now I'm sort of hurt and have a massive bad taste from this situation..

      BEWARE this user is also in the BJD business...

      I just hope I'll have some positive news any day soon or else..:|

    8. Oh dear n66x, it does sound suspicious. I'm very paranoid now. What can we do to protect ourselves? I'm sorry for your bad experience. :(

    9. posted some updates to the first post...turns out we're talking about a real deal here T T...anyone who can help spot her username possible in here as well let us know...

    10. She was trying to sell

      [IMG]

      this doll on the Junkyspot and Dreamland forums too. I can't remember her handle there, I think it was just Dremmel

    11. I'll let anyone know thank you for your information now I can start warning people!
      one question how can I turn an item dispute to a claim???!

    12. Dear z3r0 was that a recent activity?!
      if so maybe someone should link any possible buyers of this person's sales there to the bad_dolly_deals thread also...:(

      people
