I have a picture here somewhere...*rummage, rummage*here 'tis! box o' Rukia! SHe's a mini from Angel Fantasy.

this was the first time I ever took a doll apart and I put each piece in the box as I took them off as I was terrified I'd lose a part. Sorry her head's not in the picture, it was secured in a closed box elsewhere to keep it safe from my cat.

All laid out and waiting for me to string him.

I wish I'd remember to take pics when I'm coating my dolls.. I hang all their parts up with wire on our indoors clothes line.. it looks quite hysterical. Maybe I'll remember next time...

Here's Jack when I had him taken apart for coating/blushing/sueding (he was on an old-style Iplehouse body with the two-part torso at this point):





And a size reference, since the size and weight of his thigh felt oddly familiar in my hand.

 

Here is Cindy (SD Nono) all gone to bits (restring+KIPS). The parts are arranged logically to ease proper reassembly (torso and head not in picture).

Today as I sanded my girl and let her dry I played around a little. Since she was without stringing I got to do some nice and also unusual pictures and thought you also did the same sometimes while restringing, blushing, sanding, modding, etc...
Al little help is allowed, of course. Just make sure no strings are holding your doll. ^^

So I'll start with my girl R.V and hope you'll participate. ^^

When I took Asriel apart the other day to clean out his joints and loosen him a bit. He has a Demon Garden body. It's kind of interesting, the thigh joints are actually balls, and are separate. His calves are the perfect shape and weight for clubbing someone on the head! xDD

 

Not the best picture in the world, but when Lyzrd and I sealed and blushed my Akando, we had him hanging from the ceiling fan to dry between coats of MSC.

This was one I took for the minifee thread a while back while I did some adjusting to her strings. I believe there are 32 resin parts to a minifee A-line.

This time it's my own boy unstrung. He's a 25 cm yoSD. And he's also getting a face-up which is why his eyes are out.
