What size are they? And where can I buy/order some wigs? I wanna buy a wig for my Unoa Light Fluorite soonish. ........Mod Notes...... This is a discussion for Unoa Light resin dolls. They are a doll that comes in a kit made by Gentaro Araki (AlchemicLabo). Their names are Fluorite and Azurite. (The Sekiguchi Unoa Vinyl Light version is considered Off Topic for DoA. But there is a flicker discussion here: https://www.flickr.com/groups/unolas/discuss/) Assembling an Unoa Light Clothes that Fit Unoa Light: Barbie and Bratz http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?20794-Unoa-Light-26cm-Tiny-Clothes-that-Fit Unoa Light Tiny Discussion Part 1: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?364339-Unoa-Light-26cm-Tiny-Discussion-Part-1
Flourite is a kit doll made by Gentaro Araki (Alchemic Lab). I would post a Want to Buy in the Doll Marketplace on this forum. You may be able to get one fully assembled from a member. The full kit comes with cat ears, optional hands and feet, material for making the fur hair, her bikini and her high heels. You also have the option of eyes that move from a lever in the back of the head or leaving them stationary. She is 26cm so she will fit some Barbie clothes, some of the Bratz clothing and some of the 1/6 Azone outifts. She also wears the size 4 wigs which you can purchase from doll suppliers. As to the pink, that someone else will have to answer. Oops, Sumomo123 I see I took to long to reply. Anyway you will love her.
*nodnod* Yep, the pink joints come with the "Special" kits, which run a little more than the regular kits. An unpainted Fluorite (girl) kit seems to run around $300-ish on the secondary market, and Azurite (boy) is a little less. The prices tend to vary quite a bit, though. If you do a search for "Artemis" or "Akiva," you can see my Fluorite/Azurite pair How hard are they to get? If you keep an eye on the Marketplace, they come up relatively often, at least once a month in my experience. Will there be an order for them again, like there is now for the Sist and Lusis? I think that the orders are only in Japan (they're not sold in the same fashion that the larger Unoas are, it seems to be pretty randomly timed and I've heard something about a lottery). You can get them on Y!J, although it may cost more than just waiting for one to come up on DoA. Do they all come with cat ears? Yep! A complete kit comes with cat ears! Any other optional parts? AFAIK, no option parts are sold for UnoLas other than the parts that come with the kit. Please keep in mind that this is off the top of my head, it's possible that I'm leaving something out: The Fluorite kit comes with cat ears, two pairs of hands, two pairs of feet (one sized to fit the high-heel parts), high-heel soles (which are meant to go with included material to make sandals), material for her white vinyl bikini, and fur material to make her wig. The Azurite kit comes with cat ears, two pairs of feet (one sized to fit the geta-sandals), geta-soles (which are meant to go with included cord to make sandals), material for his black vinyl bikini-bottom, and fur material to make his wig. Oh, and they both come with eyes!! I don't remember whether the Azurite kit comes with two pairs of hands or not. The kits include everything you need to make them except tools and glue to attach the eyes -- they include wire to make tiny S-hooks for the joints, elastic cord to string the bodies, etc. BTW, not every kit comes with instructions in English, but I have scanned the English instructions and will happily send them to you (or anyone) in e-mail if needed!! Hope you find your UnoLa someday -- I love mine!! -- Andi
P.S. One of the best things about Unoa Lights is that they can wear all sorts of clothing . . . Akiva (boy) is wearing Bratz Boyz clothes and Azone boots (which fit the larger pair of feet on both of them, btw) and a WTG Boyfriends wig (perfect fit), and Artemis is wearing a Pullip Body 3 kimono and shoes (which are, I think, Pullip Body 2 shoes) and a Pocket Fairy wig (which is a leetle big, but just right with the ears holding it on). They can also wear some Barbie clothes and most 1/6-scale clothes, w00t!! -- Andi ^-^
I'm wondering: Where's the best place to find an unoa light Azurite? I appreciate any feedback, thanks Nako
As far as I know, Unoa Lights aren't produced anymore. So the only way to get them is when someone is selling one. You can try Yahoo Japan (they pop up once in a while ), Ebay (rarely) or the Marketplace here at DOA (not very often).
well it seems there are some popping up lately, in the marketplace here or Y!JA, - I actually just won one fluorite kit myself in Y!JA~!: - I was wondering what do people do with the eye mechanism? what should I do?! I love the eyes they come with but it's very difficult to find these funagata eyes in a size to fit into the mechanism at on-line stores, and i definitely do not want to sand the mechanism cause i like to keep her the way she was meant to be.. did you guys sand the mechanism? can you use other eyes to fit inside it?
ok, it's a little bit more of a hassle than I thought,lol, cleaning the seams and resin chunks is a pain, they're basically EVERYWHERE, even between fingers etc. I managed to clean the faceplate,eye mechanism,backhead,torso,L+R arms before realizing that I had sliced my finger with the X-facto,ayyyweee >_____<;;; so I guess this is it for today,lol.. it's too hot to bother any further right now, dear Fluorite will have to wait a little longer before becoming complete O_o;
Myra I have the opposite problem than you I can't get it on..I would suggest to carefully heat the backhead up with a blow dryer and try pulling..once you open it maybe you can slightly sand the pegs so you can attach/detach more easily. D.ark you gotta assemble those beauties and share them with us!XDXDXD
Uuuuugh, I've been wanting a resin Light Fluorite for aaaaaaaages, the last time I remember trying for a kit on Y!J was back in.. 2008 or something?? It's a shame they're not being produced anymore. I really wish everyone who has one will do the rest uf us unfortunate souls a favour and post loads of pics in the new thread!!
they did but those were the vinyl version which we're not allowed to talk about anymore... the Resin version were only released like twice during 2005-2006.. they have been discontinued since and replaced by the new vinyl version. Ok I manged to put the backhead on but then like you I just couldn't remove it,>__<; I tried warming it but it takes a lot of heat then you should place the slimiest screwdriver you own right where the eye mech exits the backhead slide it in there, all the way inside and give it a good push while the screwdriver is pushing the backhead's inner walls. I then went ahead and slightly sanded the pegs, it now connects easier but still you can't take them apart without the screwdriver method.>______<;;
today I had an epiphany and decided to fill myself with courage, overcome my fears, and complete the assembly process of my [U-Q|LIGHT|R] / Fluorite my biggest fear was pushing the wires inside her body,only one thing went wrong, I cut one of her wires a few mm too long, and when I pushed it through it came out of the other side of her kneeT___T ..however it's not very visible..
aww she looks fabulous n66x! I love her little butt in the last pic. X> And grats on putting her together! I like the garage kit aspec of the resin Unolas but she really is a tough one to put together. >< Especially those little knee/leg wires that had to loop a certain way, if I remember correctly...> > Did you glue her seams? That's the one thing I was always afraid of... She looks beautiful! Have tons of fun with her! X>>
I didn't glue her leg plates cause it seems that would become a problem if you want to restring her body in case a cord comes loose or something,>__<; I did however shaves a little bit of all her plate pegs so that the plates could make a more perfect collision together(there were gaps between them before I did), I also shaved the pegs from her headback a little cause the first time I put it together it took me a good 30 minutes to find a way to pull them apart again, after shaving the pegs it's easier to do so, - Resin [U-Q|LIGHT] | Accessories and Clothes-------------------------- I was amazed to seen how well the [Azone Pureneemo 25cm ] clothes fit her, I have a whole doll closet filled with those so I'm very excited,lol, she can even fit into some [ 21cm Obitsu ] and [ 21cm Azone ] stuff, - I'm using her big feet which are identical with my [ Volks Neo-Guy ] male doll's feet, so the shoes made for the boys will fit their big feet, BUT the male dolls are huge so their clothes won't: http://www.volksusa.com/who-s-that-girl--selfish.html http://www.volksusa.com/who-s-that-girl--soul-drive.html - [ Who's that girl ] or other 27cm [ obitsu/azone/dollfie ] stuff will be a little loose, so choose stuff that make a tight fit in general: http://www.volksusa.com/who-s-that-girl-.html - [ Neo-guy ] and [ Volks 1/6 dollfie ] wigs will fit perfectly also: http://www.volksusa.com/wigs-dollfie-plus.html - [ puki puki ] wigs make a perfect fit as well, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ anything else I discover, I'll report it back here!^___^
I have both Fluorite and Azurite, the latter painted by Araki himself. I got both dolls pre-loved, earlier this year (Jan/Feb), for appr. $540-550 each. My dolls' flickr set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/another-me-net/sets/72157623525510796/
The resin versions were the first generation, dating from 2005; the vinyl Lights have been put out at regular intervals ever since, including an issue in 2010, and and are off-topic here. (So definitely be careful which Unoa Lights you buy, if you want to talk about them on DoA!)
I am super excited, i've always wanted a fluorite and i finally won one off Y!J. albeit a bit expensive @.@ I hope she will fit in with my chibi and zero xD what clothes will they fit best? Momoko? Oh and i never thought about shoes @.@
Congrats! May I ask how you searched for her on Y!J? I'm looking into getting one as well but so far I'm too dumb to get where on Y!J to search for one. As for clothes/shoes and such, I found this flickr group really helpful.
Wow, - I had no idea there was a unoa light thread until I noticed it bumped up, - only two pages since it was started in 2005... I think we should nurture this poor thread I have a unoa fluorite, and I love her! I bought her off the marketplace a while back, and have had a great time making her clothes from the pattern mooks. Momoko sized patterns generally work, although a little wide across the shoulders. As far as shoes go, I haven't found many options for her big feet that I like... but the ones I have come across are from hotdotzblythe on ebay. The mary jane ones are my fav. I will try take some pics when the weather clears a bit. For her small feet, there are more options. Many Blythe size shoes fit the small feet. Unfortunately the momoko shoes do not, as her feet are too wide (really disappointed in that one!!). If anyone has any luck finding nice fitting shoes for the big feet, I would be grateful for info! I need to take some more recent photos of my girl, - this thread is just the motivation, but for now, here is an older pic of Sophie to boost the thread. The dress she is wearing is a unoa light/momoko pattern from a mook, and her shoes are lati yellow sized from ruby red galleria. They fit her small feet nicely and don't look too out of proportion. Little lady by *alexisbears*, on Flickr
Oh i didnt know the feet she comes with are two different size xD. Thats good to know though, i was just about to buy some momoko/blythe shoes. Im going to be placing an order with Clear-lan soon, once i figure out exactly what i want. But i love your Sophie, alexisbears. When i looked for unoa fluorite on flickr, i always see your photos! She is so cute~ And i love her faceup soo much~ I have some momoko patterns i bought but i have no idea how to sew them together. Never could understand patterns ;-; Oh and what size eyes do you prefer in your girl?
Yes, normal proportioned feet (the big ones) and freaky stumpy shortened ones! Don't get open toe shoes for that size, - they are seriously weird looking XD When you put lati yellow/Blythe sized shoes on them though, the shoes tend to look in proportion. Her legs are so long though, that if you get boots, look for the longest ones you can. It's personal preference I guess, but I find the shorter ones look a bit too short on her. I desperately want to go shopping at Clear-Lan for Sophie, but I fear that when I start choosing items, I may not be able to stop... so have to save up some dedicated funds first! They have such cute clothes! When you order... just be mindful that momoko have really skinny legs, so tighter fitting pants may not work so well (I don't know this from experience, but I'm pretty sure I've read it somewhere...) I'm not sure about eyes... Sophie came with dark blue glass eyes, and I haven't felt the need to change them. I don't know for sure what size they are, but they look about the same as the 6mm ones I have in my pukis and elfdoll tiny. I wouldn't want to go any bigger than 6mm.
Oh darn i was so close, i have 2 pairs of 8mm xD The one i got does come with some though so i will compare them together xD. And i didnt even think about Momoko's legs being skinnier! xD; theres one pair of jeans i want to try at least, might stick to leggings and shorts/dresses/skirts then xD I was just gonna get like 1 type of clothing, and see what fits before i spend too much xD. I have 2 pairs of latY/momoko boots i cant wait to try. I am so excited :3 OH! Wigs.... are they like size 4/5? or 3? I looked, but there isnt a measurement guide for this dollies anywhere? (And when i google i just keep getting the plastic version xD)
They have tiny little noggins, too! Mine all wear 3/4 wigs. Here are the measurements--I'm pretty sure these are correct! http://moeeeh.wordpress.com/retired-bjds/u-noa-light/ Oh! And as for eyes: they have a special eye mechanism inside their heads that takes these special flat eyes called 'boat eyes' or 'funagata eyes'. (The kits originally came with two pairs, brown and blue.) If you putty the boat eyes into the mechanism, the Light can look from side to side if you turn her head! You can also use ordinary flat-back 6mm eyes in there, too, but the fit is less exact.
Do the measurements differ much between the resin and vinyl version? What kind of patterns are they? I'd love to help out if I can.
The plastic is bust 10.5 waist6.8 and hips 11. It's also a little taller at 27cm - so the biggest significant diff is in the waist. I think the legs are also a bit skinnier. .There's a pattern for the plastic version in DollyBird 10 (the lingerie edition). It's actually a really handy mook as it lists measurements for a whole slew of bjd and other dolls. There's also an awsome photo of two 1.5s along with a second and a zero in a bedroom. The zero is lounging on a bed along with the fluorite and the fluorite looks like her dolly!
I also received a brand new kit (the one with pink joints) those last days. it took me some hours to put every piece on but shes' now ready Here she is with my Unoa zero And with some other Unoa girls http://nsa34.casimages.com/img/2013/07/14/130714105111118515.jpg
Okay, I have a few questions about my girl. I took her face off to wipe the old faceup and do a new one, however.. i can not for the light of me, get that mouth piece out... is there some sort of trick to it? Or do you think itd be okay if i just left it in? Also, i was going to put her smaller feet on, but there isnt anything inside the feet to attack the hook onto, do i need to put that in there myself? Should i use gorilla glue or hot glue? I noticed tho on the other pieces, that you can see the wire on the outside through the resin omg shes so tiny and cute~
Teeth part is an horrible thing, when it's on is REALLY difficult to put it off... As a kit they do not arrive with anything to attach hook, so you will have to drill a hole (there is a tiny one, not totally open) and then put wire inside. Thank for my Unoa family, they are sadly waiting for me to finish custom' ><
Yeah i manged to (painfully) get wires in there for her small feet. I decided just to leave the teeth part in because my fingers hurt already xD I had a cute pair of latiyellow jean shorts leftover from my last lati. And i got them on her xD but she couldnt sit in them! they are cute tho~ Skadi by Sanngridr, on Flickr Here she is in a momoko shirt i had, and a wig she came with.
And here is mine with her custo ^^ I really like those dolls, they do pose very well, are so thin and graceful... they look so alive!
Hello everyone! I have long dreamed of a little girl! They are very, very rare! please tell me - why my elbows girls pink? They vary in color from the main body (. This is very frustrating ... I look at pictures - the other dolls elbows normal color!)
There were two editions of Unoa Lights: ones with pink elbows and one with normal colored elbows. Your doll is designed so that when blushed the joints don't lose the color when in use, but I understand it may be frustrating if you don't plan to give your doll a body blush.
Hello! I have always lusted after these cute little ones, can someone please enlighten me on what "Unoa Lite/Light" is in Japanese, so I can search her up on YJA, etc? Thank you! Nevermind, I think I've got it: ??? ??? ??? ??????? I need one of these girls!
Hi) I'm a little gay theme! Don't know why it's all so quiet(((( do we have on the forum, there are few beautiful girls, as Unoa baby)))). Long time I have gathered all my girl and got her first photo shoot. Here she is still without make, but recently I drew her face! Later show you! she was even more beautiful)))) And girlfriend tied to us as a gift two dresses!) Sorry for my English...I'm not good at writing but I can show my girl: http://i056.radikal.ru/1401/b8/53bde94aec5d.jpg http://i058.radikal.ru/1401/cd/e001eb722de4.jpg Thank you I have no Flickr.....I show you a photo of my baby))) http://s003.radikal.ru/i204/1401/90/80f0eda38674.jpg http://s005.radikal.ru/i210/1401/5f/7ed4fcaff94c.jpg http://s019.radikal.ru/i634/1401/4a/8745c4f25acf.jpg
Oh my gosh, My Azurite is at home!! Words can't express-!! I will have to take a million photos tomorrow! Wee!~ Edit: And there he is! These dolls are really art, such gorgeous sculpting~ U-noa Light Azurite Is Home! by Orangey34, on Flickr
He's just adorable, Orangey34! I love his hat, and that cardigan you have on him--can I ask where you got it? I also have shoe news, for those of you who have resin Fluorites with the smaller foot parts! I bought some Blythe/Momoko flat shoes from dollyTown on Etsy, and they arrived today, and they are SUPER TINY, not chunky and oversized like most Blythe shoes. In fact, they are so tiny--so closely fitted to the Momoko foot--that they don't fit most of my mature tinies. They do, however, fit on the smaller Unoa Light foot! I can confirm that these little spectator flats fit, and so do these chained flats. They are slightly tight, but I was able to put them on with minimal wriggling, and at no point did I feel like I was going to break the foot or the shoe. I was also able to put her in the punk-style riveted high heels, although I don't know how well she'd stand in those!
Gallye: Thanks a ton! He's so cute for sure! The cardigan is from Who's That Girl I believe, for the male dolls? Or perhaps it's female size. Not sure since I bought it secondhand. And the hat is for Licca-chan ;-). Fantastic shoe news, thanks for the tips! My boy has absolutely no shoes, even the small feet seem big for some Licca sized shoes I have here. Got to do more experimenting. Do you have pictures of your Unoa Lights, I'd love to see! Okay, I heard that Momoko clothing is supposed to fit the Lights, so I bought some TTYA pants and it was a big disappointment, the pants are like huge! The waist is too big. I wish they were made with a velcro or clasp fastening at the back, maybe the fit would be better. Azurite's waist is the size of a vinyl Licca or Blythe doll's waist, I would've thought Momoko would be as slim, but the waist of those pants are oversized. Well, the search continues...~
I am glad I found this thread! I now too have one of these elusive Unoa Fluorite girls. I actually had her for a while now but I finally had a chance to cleaned her up because her blush was too much for me. Sadly, when I clean her up her blush was actually hiding a lot of sad dings and small chunks off her. I guess I will have to sand those little bits off to make her whole again. I can't wait to restring her though. She couldn't stand to save her life beforehand! ... and now she is whole again after I removed the blush and sanded off most of the dings. Some of the dings I found out is just bad casting (resin bubbles) and can't be sanded off without removing a lot of resin on the side. I think I will just leave those alone. Now that she is at a fresh state I can't wait to see what she will become! :3
Oh wow, great to see your girl, Gamekitty! Glad you've given her some TLC, these girls definitely deserve it, the Lights are such lovely little things! Please continue to share pictures of your girl in the future ;D By the way, yes, I've heard that a lot of them have small air bubbles. If I remember correctly, they even tell you how to fill them? But I forgot now :p Better Together ? por Orangey34, en Flickr My two darlings are finally together! I'm so happyyyyy! I'm already plotting their personalities and backstories. The name Kiko keeps sticking in my head for Fluorite, I think something cute and short would suit her. I'll have to go searching the Japanese baby name websites again, heheh. But really, the Unoa Lights have the most beautiful bodies, they are such delicate little things. Araki is a genius, the dolls are gorgeous~
Hi everyone! I wanted to share our (my mom and me) Rivella with you, he is the Azurite. He is so adorable and incredibly well made, I just love his little nose! Our little Schweppes arrived today as well YAY (she is the Fluorite). We've been looking for her for so long and are thrilled that she's here at long last Sadly, her teeth part is missing, altough it was clearly depicted in the auction We've already contacted our shopping agent, but I don't think we will ever see it, it's such a tiny part that easily gets lost. That's a bit of a problem I don't quite know how to solve yet. But, she is so cute that it won't get us down. We will have the time to put her together this weekend, we're a bit too busy right now.
GameKitty: Thanks a bunch! Good luck finding your Azurite! Two is more fun than one! Not to mention three... four... you get the gist, haha. By the way, does your Fluorite's legs stay slightly open like that (in your photo)? Mine does that aswell, I just find it interesting because my Azurite doesn't have a problem closing his. Maybe because he's a bit more loosely strung? :O ThinkPink: Wow, what a fun boy! Rainbow kid! I'm happy to see more Lights around, let's just revive the thread as if it's 2005 again, hahaha. Congratulations on your new Fluorite too! You know, actually I saw that auction, unfortunately because it was in Japanese it's difficult for us foreigners to pick up all that they say in the description, but I did an online translation at the time and it mentioned that the teeth part was missing, they lost it after taking the photos. I hope that you can find a way to make her some teeth, it's something really small and not too noticeable so maybe makeshift clay teeth could work? :p But still, what a happy moment, I know what it's like to pine after Fluorite and finally get her, mine arrived yesterday =D. Please share your girl once you and your mother have put her together! Oh, and if I could be so greedy, I'd love to see a snapshot or two of her in the process of being put together! Not like a tutorial, just a pic or two. Thanks if you can!
I've always just used white Blu-tack for teeth on my Fluorite. The original teeth part is so tiny I'm not sure if I have it anymore... ^^;
Orangey34: Lucky you! Congratulations on finding a girl! I am looking every day on noppin trying to find him. Where did you find your new girl? I think my girl just end up spread out like that. I think it needs a restringing. Thinkpink!: What a unique little guy! That is sad about the mouth piece, but you know it is probably better off without it. Once you put it in it is forever stuck. That is the problem with the mouthpiece. At least with the white tac you can take it out.
Uninu: Oh really, yours too? Hehe. I bet the blue-tac works totally fine for the teeth, her little mouth is so small. That's a good suggestion! GameKitty: Thank you!! I found both of my Lights from DoA actually! :p I've been hunting around on other sites too but DOA is the only place I've seen them for sale other than ThinkPink's doll from Japan =). Eventually an Azurite will show up, fingers crossed! ;D So, have you all had much luck finding shoes for these dolls? I've gotten one suggestion which is Who's That Girl (WTG) shoes, I haven't bought any yet :P
I found my girl from DoA too! I saw that same girl on Noppin too, but I figured that I already have a girl and don't need another one. I just need 1 of each Araki sculpts except for Unoa girls apparently, but that is for a different thread. Haha... As for shoes, I have WTG shoes in the garage but haven't tried them yet. I heard that for the bigger feet you can try Licca/Blythe shoes or Momoko boots.
It's funny to see the difference between the MSD dollies and the little Lights, lol, I usually collect in 1/6th size so the size is just right for me, but beside the bigger ones they seem so teeny! I imagine Araki sculpting those little faces and fiddling with all of the little parts in the head :P Oh, please let us know how it goes with the WTG shoes when you have a chance to try them! By the way, for the bigger feet, Licca/Blythe or Momoko will be too small unfortunately, their feet and ankles are a little bigger than Barbie's feet but not much . Maybe I'll experiment with the smaller feet though, some shoes might fit! ;D Just bought my dolls some new clothes, can't wait for them to arrive! I have to go wig hunting too, somebody suggested 4" Parabox wigs, have to check it out! (And then hopefully my wallet can rest in peace for a while, haha)
All right, here is my verdict on the shoe. I have a lot of 1/6 scale dolls, probably one of each at this point. I got an Annz, a Momoko, a Pullip, a Blythe, a Jenny, and a Licca. I also have an obitsu body as well. You can find pics of my trials on my flickr. I have way too many pictures to fit them here: Licca shoes (the soft ones) fit the best. I have 2 pairs of them (one from the official Licca doll and one from a Blythe girl) and they fit perfectly without any problems. The rest, however is no go. Sandals, the harder shoes, etc you just can't shove their feet into them. Here is my gold pair from a Blythe on my girl: WTG shoes does not fit the small nor the big feet. I tried. I can't shove the small ones in. Their feet are just too wide, both big and small. Some Momoko shoes fit the small feet of Unoa girls, BUT only the sandals, and they do not look good because the small foot is so short for Unoa girls. The boots and their other shoes are also no good (can't stick their feet into them.) Blythe shoes are definitely no good unless they are Licca shoes, above UNLESS they are soft with zippers. I got a pair from a rare Blythe girl that fits perfectly, but ya... generally Blythes don't have this kind of shoes. Unfortunately those popular flat Barbie shoes that are popular with 1/6 scale girls are also no good for our Unoa girls. Their feet won't get into them. :'( Some of those boots you find on eBay for Blythes/Momokos (the cloth ones) will probably fit Unoa boys/girls, but my only worry about those is because the hook is very fragile (unless you changed the hooks) it will be very hard to take off without ripping the foot off or changing the S hook shape. So a recap: - Soft Licca shoes work perfectly without problems. - Cloth/leather boots where you can loosen the boot lace to fit the feet into it carefully will work as long as you are aware that you have to be careful of the feet getting stuck inside. - Momoko Birkenstocks fit but it is too long for Unoa's small feet (and will not fit into the large feet) - The rest are no good (WTG, Blythe, Momoko, Pullip, Licca hard shoes) I hope this helps!
Awesome, thanks for the detailed assessment! I have a lot of Licca shoes so I'll definitely be trying them on to see which fit! Ah, WTG shoes don't fit. Are they the girl shoes, I wonder if the male shoes would work? Thanks for the helpful information since the Lights have unique body proportions that can be hard to fit! I took some time to try on some Blythe and Licca sized clothing that I have on my girl and generally everything fits except that with some clothing, the hands won't go through the arm holes. I have that issue with my vinyl Azone Pure Neemo bodies as well, but the PN hands are very easy to take off and put on, so it's a simple fix. Not so much with Unoa although it can be done for sure. But generally, Blythe and Licca clothes are a bit oversized even for Licca so I prefer the slimness of Momoko clothing. Bratz pants also fit well, except that the leg length is short :p. Also, Unoa Light's legs are shorter than some other fashion dolls like Fashion Royalty, so I found that the pants were too long, and also the feet couldn't go all the way through the leg hole, but the fit was otherwise good. Stockings similarly are too long, but things like socks and long "stocking socks" are okay. FR's feet are, of course, smaller than Unoa's big feet but you can get away with it. "He's So Funny", She Said por Orangey34, en Flickr I feel joy looking at these two. They have the sweetest faces, they're even cuter than I had imagined they would be~ =) http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img293.au...5/ame445-img548x600-1402406395na0yde26832.jpg http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/185481241 Wow, are the prices of the Lights really increasing this much? I thought in Japan at least you could still find them for lower prices, haha. Is her buyer anyone in this thread?
Orangey34: I was thinking of buying her but her price rose rapidly towards the end. I got mine off DOA for a hefty price too. Anyway, speaking of high prices, have anyone seen this guy? I want a boy but not this badly... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Unoa-Quluts-Azure-Light-Limited-Edition-Male-w-animal-ear-slots-ears-BRAND-NEW-/111378176100?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19eea81864
*GULP*, GameKitty the price for that boy~! It's more than double what I paid for my boy... actually nearly triple. I guess because he is new and untouched, but even then, I believe the seller may eventually have to lower the price~ I was watching the girl auction too but I didn't see the ending. The last I saw, the price was 50,000 and I was sure that it would end around there, but I guess because these are so hard to find, any chance you can get to own one is a good chance. I have a feeling I'm going to have to stick with one Fluorite and Azurite, but I kind of like the idea of only having one of each anyway, heh.
Orangey34: I was actually up for that auction :X Towards the end there was a scruffle and the auction keeps getting extended by 5 minutes (a Yahoo Auction thing for those who are not aware of that feature. Was on the old Auction auctions too.) I am like... I am not going to wait for that to end. And ya... the boy... I think I will just have to keep an eye on Yahoo Auctions for him to appear. I know that the rare Unoa Elder boy appears sometimes. If he appears sometimes (and he was only released once too) I am sure that an Unoa lite boy will appear sometimes too.
He'll definitely appear! I just think that it's scary with deputy services nowadays, there's no way to escape the crazy bidding wars, lol. Everyone is desperate to own one of these dolls and somehow I think International fans are willing to pay even more than Japanese fans for Japanese goods, generally. I think the winner of the aforementioned Fluorite used Crescent shop's service since the winner's ID is "cre**" But I'm sure you'll snag an Azurite eventually, hopefully soon!
Ironically I might get my wish, and around my birthday too XD But... I got a question though. Are the cat ears included in the Azurite? I saw one that includes a pair of getas but no ears? Just throwing it out there.
Oh, awesome Gamekitty, keep us updated! And yes, the cat ears are included with Azurite =). His ears are smaller than Fluorite's from what I see~ Cloudymoonx, heheh, congrats! ;D I hope we can see more of her, please share her when she arrives! Although I was previously talking about her price, but back in 2008 I remember inquiring about a Fluorite and the BIN was $800, so the price range is not unnatural =). ---- Anyway, I repainted my Fluorite (ugh, doing faceups is not my thing) I & You por Orangey34, en Flickr
Orangey34, thank you! I was looking through this thread out of impatience and was a little surprised to find a link to that auction/people wondering who the buyer was! I'll definitely post photos when she arrives though I think I'm going to end up sending her off for a face-up pretty quickly (it's hard to tell what her current face up is really like though from the photos). Anyway I'm super excited! (And I hope nobody is mad at me for being the winner of the auction ^^; )
