Unoa hybrids? Other bodies that work with Unoa face plates (part 2)

Unoa Sist on Kid DELF girl body. I know that this hybrid has been posted before but maybe someone will benefit from the images after all. I switched to Unoas Chest part too but it all work equally well with the original breast from Luts. She looks just litte younger then. Difference in resin color is not as honest as it looks utt to be in the pictures. My camera really takes out the little tone difference there is. In RL you can hardly see it.

 

My newest obsession is high heeled MSD bodies... And really love this new aria doll tiny body since the leg piece comes without any connection in the ankle.. creating a smooth line.

I ordered Unoa Sist and Lusis face plates and currently waiting on Sist make up... I'm still waiting to get a chance with my favorite artist for the Lusis...

 

Can someone please link me or tell me how to put the unoa headback/faceplate on to a Minifee Active line body?

 

I think you are going to need a so-called neck donut to replace the MNF neck part. See also the pictures here (scroll down a bit): http://mnf-faq.wikidot.com/mnf:hybrids

I think you just need to remove the neckpice from the minifee body and then you can do as you do with any other body you have. You need replace the neckpice with some big S-hook to hold the unoa headback on the place or you can use the original metall pin if you hawe one.

 

I don't know if this will help but here's an Amaeta headback on my minifee. I just took the neck piece off and used a large ring instead of an S hook. Mainly because I didn't have an S hook lol. I'm not going to lie, getting the neck piece off is going to be the hardest part and a total pain in the butt. I had to take the feet off my minifee to create enough slack to be able to pull enough elastic out of the neck to then work with the neck piece. Also the hook in the MNF neck piece is pretty small and you may need pliers to wiggle it wider to be able to pull the elastic out. Anyway, good luck!

I put the Unoa small bust onto an older (2007ish) Dollzone body and while the color is close its not perfect...the fit however is really good!...i would post but shes actually got a Minifee head on lol shes my frankindolly

 

Just try few days ago a fp Unoa sist wink on a Custom House Ange Ai body. It's a little bit weird... But I post it here to let you see.

 

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew of a slightly shorter body (40cm to 42cm) that has curvy legs like the original Unoa body. I tried Aria but it's a little too tall and minifee was curvy but a little too thin. I know it's a long shot but wanted to try asking. I had no idea I was so picky about legs! 0____0

 

Usually people use Dollmore kids, legs are similar and the resin too, so almost perfect match.
I checked the color between my dollmore and my Chibi and yes really similar.
Dollmore kid's body is cheap and very nice, and you can get it really quickly, just need an head back, you can order one to Amaeta , see upper.

MDD was too my option, unfortunately I didn't try yet.
But I think ok, I use to put resin head on DD body and U-noa head are not heavy.
So could be a good idea.

Dollmore body I think is almost same price.

 

Lol Thanks! Gah the dollmore body is really cute! I think by the looks of it a Unoa L-bust might fit...if not it's still not a problem the small bust is nice too.

 

Some persons did it use the big breast part, but you have to sand a lot , but possible.

The Dollmore is the best match and the legs really look like same sharp.

The dollmore resin match, The mini model doll, ok legs are so long, but her body is beautiful.
Maybe just check all 40cm body / doll by Dollmore.

I think to do hybride too and it will be Dollmore or MDD.

 

I put my Queenie on a 5Stardoll body and I love it! I think she has lovely shapely legs
I put her default Unoa hands on as well.

Hi everyone! I bought my L-Bi a Minifee body in NS but I think he is 1.0 and he's much paler than the minifee body, and also paler than my new Lusis. And now my Minifee head has stolen his Minifee body. Do you guys think I should try a WS Minifee body for my pale little L-Bi boy? Any suggestions for a paler resin match?

 

The boys are all 1.5 only to the best of my knowledge, they were never released in 1.0 or WS, or Fairy skin.
You could however try a yellowed WS fairyland body (I have my 1.0 Sist boy on a yellowed MNF body, and the resin match is fantastic! Center picture in my signature.) or get the faceplate resin matched to a slightly darker body. Most people that have their faceplates on a MNF NS body have had the plates blushed darker to match the MNF body. I hope that helps a little.

does anyone have any pics of unoa on a Iplehouse JID body or a dollzone girl body? I have both.....one is headless one isn't and I'm wondering if I can use them for my sist and lusis that are coming

 

I haven't got one but did see one in the Marketplace just yesterday (not my FS thread I hasten to add!). Maybe you could contact the seller and see if she/he has any more photos or can help you by answering your questions. If I remember rightly, I think it says that the neck is modded to fit the head.

 

JennieKay: I've seen both hybrids, and from what I can discern, the hybrids seems to work. The Iplehouse neck may need some modification to conform to the head, but don't think DollZone bodies require that. I'm not certain though.

For everyone with recently-produced Unoa faceplates on AriaDoll, Doll Leaves, or Fantasy Doll bodies, what resin tone is recommended? My Unoa Lusis faceplate is slightly paler than my Kid Delf girl (produced in 2010), so I'm thinking either NS or pinky-NS...?

Read it and Weep: May not help you much, but I have a Unoa Lusis fp that matches FDoll NS perfectly. However, I believe she's 1.0, because the headback I got for her from Buff is supposed to be the same color as 1.5s and it's WAY WAY pinker than my FDoll boy.

I myself would like to see a Lusis on Doll Leaves if anyone's got one :>

 

My 1.0 is more yellow than my MNF ! WS is not a good idea :/

Now has anyone hybridized this with an Unoa FP yet? I'd also very much like to see comparison pictures with Draming Doll and Unoa bodies if anyone has those. I'm not too concerned with resin colors, since I'm prepared to blush the FP to match anyways.

Babychan80, your hybrid with the Ariadoll body looks really great, such a good match and I like the shape of the body too.

 

I also have the ariadoll 7yr sweet body, and it's a really good match for unoa! Something to be aware of though, is that her larger hips are more significant than you would think. also, she has a little bit of a belly :3 if your character is a younger teenager, perhaps 10-14 years old, then it is a perfect body!

 

Switching gears a bit here, I just completed my Unoa Lusis hybrid using a CastleAnne body. The resin match is actually amazingly good! My Lusis FP is 1.5 resin cast in 2007 and has yellowed a fair amount, the body was cast in 2010 and hasn't really yellowed. The difference is slight enough that I don't notice it at all.

As far as proportions go, they look pretty good. The body is very curvaceous like the Unoa large bust option body. The only thing is that the CastleAnne body's posability isn't great. Only her elbows are double jointed. I plan to do a lot of sueding so she can hold poses, and wiring in her legs to help her weak-ish ankles.

I have new Unoa B-el faceplate. Do you know which AOD body skin tone suits better?

 

Lailiren : I think Yellow Normal skin will be great. I have a Lusis 1.0 and a Sist 1.5 and it's more yellow than my AOD girl body in white skin.

Moony, i confirm my 1.00 is really more yellow (but the 1.5 is more pinky, becareful)

 

My two fp are yellow. Not pink lol. But I'm not the first owner.

 

My first Unoa 1.00 is yellowed because she is old and really yellow ! My second, is yellowed too (1.5) but not such my 1.0 ! My unoa chibi is more Pinky ! so becarefull !

 

I have bought a Unoa ange faceplate, and although i must save first some money for her body i am already looking for my options.
So i was wondering did Unoa Ange come availablewith different type of skin like the normal or pink version of just one type? And is her skin color the same as another Unoa?

 

Just to let everyone know for resin reference, the Buff headbacks were sculpted by me then cast by Fantasy Doll, but they are NOT a match to any Fantasy Doll resin, as they custom-matched the resin shade to 1.5 Unoa faceplate. Its not exactly dead on, but its really close. BUT! Fantasy Doll did contact me to ask what I would call that resin shade, because they were thinking of adding it to their available shades. So if you are interested in that body, you might drop Fantasy Doll a line asking for it and perhaps they'll add it.

I have a question about the form of the breast.
Which breast is bigger? The UNOA large breasts or 14 years old from Ariadoll Tiny?
On some of the pictures look pretty big from Ariadoll but on some smaller again.
Does anyone have a comparison picture?

 

My body arrived yesterday from DollnDoll, it is the Diamond girl body and I'm really pleased with it so far. The quality is very good, the resin match is near perfect, I didn't have to mod the neck at all and although the torso is not jointed, the posing seems good too.

Here are both girls together. My girl on the right, Sasha, is a full Unoa Sist and the girl on the left is Shae my hybrid. Shae's faceup is by 3rd_Strike on Flickr and my full girl's face was done by AyaUme.
