Are you sure those aren't his "little" dolls that were previewed several months ago? They are smaller versions of his Unoa dolls, and they look JUST like them, with some differences. The joints look really off from a Unoa is why I'm asking. I don't know, since I can't read Japanese.

The white cat ears & tail and the beige ears and tail are 1500yen a set, but the pink ears & tail come with a matching wig, so that set is 3000yen. As far as the photos in the diary go, those are 1/6th scale Unoas that were made for some show or event and there isn't any kind of news as to whether they will be released to the general public yet or not.
They are 1/6 scale at about 9 inches (23 - 24cm), according to the diary entry, which I think is kinda small. One would think that they would be at least 11 inches (28cm). And I wish that we could get them, but there is no info about future plans regarding any kind of sales at this time...
erm... what do you mean "bid"? These aren't on auction. they are preorder, so you just pay the default base price. ^_^ and you should order everything you want altogether (ie, doll + tail and ears, etc, if you want them)
You are talking about Yahoo Japan, right? Right now prices on painted Unoas are high there, cause of all the hype about the release of wave 3 at Alchemic Labo and the lack of pained dolls offered, there, thus far. A nicely painted doll on YJ painted by either Genterou-sensei or by a good artist has sold for around 85000yen, but I have seen unique custom painted ones go for almost double that. So, my opinion is that if you want to win a painted Unoa on YJ, be prepaired to bid around 100000yen at the last minute. Some sellers offer the cat ears and other accessories along with the doll. Most are not rare, but if you are going to order from the site, rather than bid on YJ, I suggest you just get the ones you want when you order your doll. But if you are talking about ordering from Alchemic through Cresent, you don't need to bid, you just place your order for the dolls and accessories (cat ears, etc.) within the alotted time frame and that's it, though the dolls are NOT assembeled or painted. I hope this helps, since your question was very unclear...
This is probably a really stupid newbie question, but how much are the U-Noas exactly? I can't read Japanese, and I'm just not smart enough to make heads or tails of their website tonight. Can anyone help?
we dont know the exact price yet, but the kit (unassembled) will be about $400 ROUGHLY... (give or take)

Here's my problem: I've got nearly all the money saved up for my Elf El , and I'm afraid that if I don't order him as soon as the English Luts site opens, I won't be able to get him. But!- will I have another chance to get a Lusis? I know lots of people have her, but I also know she's hard to come by. (Your site was the first I stumbled onto when I got the BJD fever, and I fell in love with yours & started looking everywhere I could think of- with no luck! :cry: ) I haven't seen any other dolls that have a face sculpt like hers, so if this is my only chance to get her, then I guess El will have to wait...
just thing of it this way. Elf El there are going to be 68 made FOREVER. Production OVER. Where as the Unoas are released about twice a year, but they make more all the time. I'm going for the Elf El ^_^ I just want the unoa brown wig >:O hehe
Can those of you who ordered through Masamichi last time give us some kind of idea about time frames? Like, if you put in an order, do you pay instantly, or when he confirms he has the doll? And how long did it take you roughly to get the doll?
I ordered Lusis through Masamichi in October of last year and received her in January, so while it seemed like forever, it was really only a two month wait. The full payment was due at the time the order was placed--hope this info helps! Lia
I agree with what was said that if you really want el elf that you should get him. With Unoa, preorders are EXTREMELY seldom (once or twice a year), but I'm sure there will be another one. And there will always be someone who bought theirs and then after the months of waiting for the doll to finally be produced (it does take a while!) so when they get it they may have changed their mind and they may sell it. and then you may be ready to buy one. as to when we pay, I'm guessing since alchemiclabo says that you have to pay up front that Masamichi will ask us to pay up front, but to be honest I dont remember from last time, and I'm not sure that I'm translating the page correctly. masamichi said he'd work on the preorder page for us this weekend so we should know relatively soon all the details. Again, I'm so so grateful for Masamichi helping us. He's always so dependable and sweet!! just a reminder not to email him about Unoa, you guys ok? We'll know soon and the last thing he needs is a bunch of emails delaying him doing his job!
I saw a notice on Crescent Shop listing two periods for preorder, one starting today (september 11). Now what I want to know is if Masamichi can buy optional parts only, if you already have an Unoa. I have a Painted Unoa Sist purchased through Masamichi in the last preorder and I just want the optional large breast torso for her. Anyone can help me? Thanks.
I don't know what Masamichi will be allowed to do, but on the order form the parts are listed seperately. Seems to imply that you can get the parts seperately. Where did you see this at Crescent Shop? Did I miss the notice?
If this preorder is like the one last October, you could order the optional parts separately, but I believe it was only if you'd previously ordered your Lusis or Sist through Crescent, or were currently ordering a full doll through them. Lia

yes, masamichi will have an order form on his site WHEN he is ready to take orders (probably the 13th.) unless you are a resident of Japan, you can't use the orderform on Alchemic Labo's site.
I believe that is in reference to the fact that many people had to wait so long for their Unoas the last time. Basically, he wants you to know that you might have to wait until early next year to get your doll, because he makes them per order, and wants you to be aware of that before you order. This is so exciting, I think I'm gonna pass out. @___@ *fanfanfan*

$465, I think covers his fee, but not shipping. The reason I ask is so that I dont get SHOCKED later. Doll budget must be kept under control. I hate those kinds of surprises. It seems to be about 20-25% more and that happens to be about what they charge for shopping services and their shipping is reasonable. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining, I am so happy that he can handle this cause YJ is so WAY MUCH more money by the time you are said and done! -Been there done that took days to get over that shock! you login at crescent-shop.com and then you go to "shopping" on the left hand side of the screen (once you login). you'll see a link under shopping on the left that says "Unoa preorder". That page will allow you to preorder starting tomorrow the 13th. you can see more details on the page though.

I did my pre-order and paid for it but did not get a confirmation from Crescent or anything.. Do they send emails confirming orders?? On the last page of order form when I hit pay button it took me to paypal, which I used to pay but on the paypal payment it doesn't state what the order was or anything.. Doesn't say for Unoa or items.. This seems a bit strange to me.. So what I need to know is if anyone did get any kind of confirmation from Crescent regarding their order?? Thanks a bunch. I emailed before I did my paypal payment and Masamichi said I could use paypal.. I did not pay with credit card.. I paid with my bank account.. And the money came out of my bank account right away.. So Crescent did get the funds.. I will email them today.. Hopefully it will be ok.. Gloria
