Theme Unicorn BJDS?

Soom Heliot's romantic head has a sculpted horn, as do Soom Bygg and Beyla (Yo-SD sized).

 

The Soom ones are limited and long sold out, though they do pop up on the secondary market. Same with the others I'm going to list.

I have a unicorn doll, his horn is not part of the sculpt (he's an AoD Wan Wan, plain elf tiny) but he has one that is made from sculpey, with a magnet embedded into it and his forehead.

I think Bobobie Nissas do (sold out I believe) and I've seen a uni-horned Wishel (very much sold out), but most are unavailable/limited

 

Soom's Centaurs have horns, and a horse body to go along with it. Unfortunately, they're all limited. Also, the horns of most if not all of the Soom dolls aren't actually sculpted directly onto their heads, they just sit in a slot and can be removed.

 

I have seen some prototypes of a unicorn BJD just recently. I think it was on the Mushroom Peddler site on Etsy.

I don't own this girl anymore but I did have a unicorn I put together. She is an AOD LiLi that was modded to be gender-neutral and her eyes were widened. I added Peapod doll hooves and the unicorn horn. She had glitter on her horn and hooves and around her eyes. her hooves were done in a rainbow pattern but are kinda hard to see in this photo.

 

Luts had a limited Unicorn Bory (Kid Delf) a while back that you could order with a centaur or human body.

And almost forgot, they also came out with 8 different Tiny Delf unicorn centaurs at around the same time.

 

Here is my unicorn hybrid girl. She is a Soom Belya head on a Fairyland LTF body with Daisy Dayes hooves.

 

Would really adore a unicorn sculpt but no one seems to have them as a staple. Why are fantasy sculpts other than vampires and elves nearly always limited?

Yeah, unfortunately, this seems to be a standard convention with fantasy dolls. Not too many companies keep them available routinely.

For what it's worth, Impldoll has their Devin, Adela, and Teno, all with horns, although by their styling, they're not as conventionally unicorn-like as a lot of the others out there.

 

I was disappointed by the lack of readily-available unicorn dolls, so I made my own unicorn boy from a Littlefee Pipi, some modded Soom Ai hooves, and ears & horn custom made by this wonderful seller on etsy!



I wish there were more unicorn dolls around~ I would so like to get him a cute little filly-friend.

I made the horn, which you can tell by how crappy it is XDD, his ears are Leekeworld Hippo ears, and he has a tail but I haven't gotten it in any photos.
I would like to get him resin wings as well, but haven't found any I am in love with yet.
I'm not big into fantasy feet, so he's all human other than the magnet parts.

 

the majority of BJDs are limited in some manner. Lots of standards are no longer available. It's just part of the whole bjd-thing, I think.

There have been a ton of unicorn types being made lately. And horn pieces. And it's pretty easy to make your own unicorn if you think the horn is the most important part...

Another one would be Napidoll's Rogebell. It's only a head (2 ver., sleeping and OE) and was a LE, but I've seen them pop up in the MP from time to time.

 

My first Unicorn, Macchi, has a new friend....





Clover is a little less traditional, and still needs a lot of work (though if his tail material didn't get lost in the mail I'm hoping it shows up this week), but hopefully he still counts. I will be ordering him wings, a real horn and ears this weekend and I'm kind of hoping to find him some hooves....

Bumping this thread. I've been looking around for a unicorn doll and wondering if anyone has some newer ones to add to the list?

 

First I found this idea - human unicorns?? - bizarre, but lately I fell in love with them. I love Soom's Brett the most, and the adult Isha (if he counts as a unicorn). This two doesn't has horse bodies, only hooves.
Doll Chateau also have a female unicorn, with horse body, and she has a sculpted horn to her head, as I saw.

 

I know the DC one you mean - she is on my want list! (along with just about every second doll they have)

I don't know, if anybody has mentioned them before here, but Fairyland Lucywen and Sircca are unicorns, or if you want to pegasus and alicorns too! Fairyland brought out some unicorn tinies too recently.

 

My Fairyline Lucywen with the two new Realfee babies ^^ I'm actually in the process of modding the hooves on a Resinsoul Yao body for her though, she'll be a bipedal unicorn.
