Hello doll people!

Here are some box opening photos for Snowdrop!

She is a slim-ish 1/4 size doll from Spiritdoll's Smart line. The sculpt comes in a closed-eye version and the dollmaker also offers the sculpt on a 1/4 size boy body under the name Pyrus.

Her outer box was larger than I was expecting for a 1/4 size doll, but the inner box was very well protected.

The blanket inside the dollmaker's box is very poofy! and has nice wide ties that wrap around it.

The doll inside even more cushioning: whoever did the wrapping did a really good job.

There she is! She came with a pair of fist hands as part of the package. She has hips!

She is so cute and I love her pear shape! There are a few different doll dealers that work with Spiritdoll.

If you do decide to get one I highly advise checking the company service reviews and the ordering and shipping questions sub forums before you put any money down. I ordered through Dolkus and sometime after that someone pointed out that there was a "this company has had problems" thread for them specifically. I read the reviews and decided to keep on because I had ordered from them before and they responded to my emails okay but I also accepted that it might be a risk and kept the order going. You should have info and make the decision that works for you!

Thank you : D I think her body sculpt style would go well with Supia doll and Soul doll too, and yeah her packaging is very elegant!

The posing is good: She has a two part body and can lean forward or backward, I might do some hot glue sueding to keep that part from slipping.
Her thighs have a mobility joint with a catch on the inner piece to hold the leg so she can kinda hug her knees in a sitting pose.
Her elbows and knees are double jointed and the "peanut" part is long so the limbs fold well, also the edges are rounded so they look pretty natural.
The neck, wrists and ankles all have good range and stay posed right out of the box. She stands well on flat surfaces barefoot too.

They are really well sculpted, and the company casting is very professional - the details look really good.

The closest thing to a negative I have for her is that the dollmaker doesn't offer heel feet. But that's it, she's pretty cool : D
