UFDoll (ABS+PVC bjds)

Aug 1, 2022

    1. Thanks so much! I think he poses quite well! I haven't had to mess with him much to get him in any position

    2. I was looking for 70cm bodies in white skin to potentially hybrid with a Souldoll Chiron WS and was considering UFDoll since the seller listed it as a possibility and ABS makes it cheap and light. Would anyone be able to post a resin comparison and POSSIBLY have a hybrid photo with any Zenith Boy head? *crossing fingers*

Chiron has a 22cm head circumference.
If 75cm bodies fit, that's even better haha

    3. Guess what? I just bought one of my grail doll! UFDoll 1/4 Kitty (or as she’s sometimes listed, Miao Miao)!

I’m so happy and excited I could almost cry!

Over the past few months I’ve had to cut back majorly on the doll hobby due to the whole tariff thing but she was in stock from a legit US BJD dealer! I could not pass this opportunity up. My wallet hurts but I couldn’t be happier.

    4. Congrats!

I just got mine today too. She's adorable. I was sad I had missed out originally, so once I saw her in stock that was an instant buy for me!

Any recommendations for glue with these dolls? My Kitty's ears came unglued.

    5. I honestly just use (low temp) hot glue. It doesn't damage and is easy to remove if you mess up with the magnet polarity.

    6. Oh good! I've got that on hand and I definitely can struggle with polarity/placement so removable is a huge plus for me! Thank you!

    7. Update: Kitty is on the way! I’m so excited~ The store I ordered her from is less than a dozen hours away from me, so she’ll be here very soon~

    8. I recently purchased a ABS/PVC bjd body and I am impressed with the quality. The biggest downside I can find is that the non resin material stains VERY easily and a LOT, definitely much worse than the resin bodies I have. I'd highly recommend planning around a character that wears light colored clothing or have the doll wear a stain protecting layer because it WILL stain and the stains are much more persistent.

    9. This is so interesting to me, because I actually have experienced zero staining so far. Even on my white skin boy who's been in black pants. Like I expect it eventually, but it's weird some people have it happen immediately it seems. I guess it really just depends onthe clothes themselves.
That being said, anti-stain suits are available lots of places and not too expensive for those who want to be more cautious.

    10. New My Mother recently got me a UF Doll Blind Box 1/5 Drink Plus series doll. These are full PVC BJDs with a complete head and head cap. You can change them up how you want, wigs / eyes / hands and feet. I got mine a real wig and new clothing. I love the fact these dolls are so sturdy being made out of more durable materials. She is a lot heavier then my 1/4 dolls. I am making her my new traveling doll, because I don't have to worry about her as much. This is an awesome doll for under $100.

Look how cute she turned out. :aheartbea
