[ U-noa Quluts] 50cm Brother | Zest / Xyle | Discussion Part 1:
http://www.denofangels.com/forums/s...-Xyle-Discussion-Part-1&p=9458330#post9458330

2. Wow... just wow... I definitely need one of these. I would love to see more pictures. :aheartbea

3. HOLY CRAP they're wonderful, and is that a mocha chibi?

4. I need both T^T oh my god!

5. yes, Mocha and fairy chibi,Mocha and Fairy 2.0, Fairy decadent Boys and fairy Elder sisters are all also scheduled to come out at some point or the other..(if they haven't already)

6. I've been wanting a big Unoa boy for years. Xyle has such a gentle and honest face, he's very special. So one will have to order an issue of Dollybird to try for one? Anyone know if Noppin will be offering the service where they will enter on your behalf if you buy an issue of the magazine through them, like they did with Unoa Zeros (I believe?).

The only thing is i'm worried they'd be out of scale with my other Sd-sized dolls. The height is allright..especially with 1 or 2 cm added to the leg length (which i've had done to another doll) and then with shoes on, there would hardly be any difference to my other Sd10 size SDs. But it's the proportions... I see this discussion was started under mini, rtaher then larger dolls. What do you guys think?

7. Oh my...my mind has just...*pop*! These boys are gorgeous! And a mocha chibi! Oh my! This is almost overwhelming my senses! I actually have to admit I like the size difference, I am just afraid of how much taller than Minifee they are, since I know Unoa is taller than minifees. But, I think I have to get one (or both) of these guys at some point. Definitely glad to see more from Mr. Unoa <3

8. I am hoping and praying that Noppin will have an event at some point because I just need myself one of these!
Possibly two... I love their lanky bodies, kinda makes me think of them as MSD dollshe's which is precisely what I want!!

9. I'll agree with Lady White Raven, omg ;^; I actually do not like the faces as much, but I'd really really love one body to hybrid it >-<!!! It is JUST perfect for one of my characters who's supposed to be short and fit >.<

10. ohh.. I'm really starting to flirt with the idea of getting a nocturnal Zest.. i like the curled-up torso idea but i'm not sure if i like it more than the normal torso..(it does make them look more original though)..

guys in order for Noppin to participate fans must ask Noppin for their participation, around 2-3 weeks before the dollybird magazine comes out someone has to inform them about the pre-order so they can prepare themselves for this and make it happen..

11. I sent a message to them to ask if they'd take part in it but they never replied...

12. http://www.amazon.co.jp/Dollybird-v...=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1351291421&sr=1-1

Weird..the magazine is set to be released in a couple of days (26/10/2012) but it doesn't mention anything about the brother dolls or preorder however it says something to the extend of "mail order for fairy skin u-noa quluts zero" from what i can read (?)... Is it a typo of the magazine or maybe they didn't have time to prepare the printed material for the brother's preorder so they went with fairy zero instead?

Noppin usually don't reply to these type of messages but they do take these suggestions into consideration..however if there isn't a preorder to participate i don't know if they'll consider participating in a lottery for a small handful of doll (unless AL decide to register some of these dolls for an international lottery with noppin like they've done before)

13. mrrrmmmm who puts flyers to faceplates that sells Noppin? Alchemic Labo himself or Noppin?
Came faceplate Lusis from Noppin, packed in a "Big" Brothers Jino's flyer (whis the stomach and arms:)))

14. aaahhh that's so nice!^______^
from what i understand Noppin orders them from AL and they send the materials packed and Noppin resends them to the international customers

15. Seems like they are quite small in proportion compared to other SD boys. They probably wear MSD sized wigs if not any smaller. Then again L-Bi/B-El are also a bit tinier compared to other dolls that are same size. Judging from the pictures, they would probably look like a Zaoll standing next to a SD13 boy?
But OMG... Zest's teeth. My weakness! I really hope they will be available through Noppin in the future!

16. "Sorry but we don't know when we can sell the doll but it is sometime in next year.

Masamichi"

17. Oh dear, there go my dolly plans out the window. Must have a Xyle! Sometime in the new year is great news, as it gives me a little time to start putting money aside. I wonder what the cost will be?

18. They are really really hard to get even compare to other unoa lotteries because they are in really small quantity. I tried use two names to join the lottery but didn't get them. T T The body design is amazing. The only problem would be which size of cloth they could fit in

19. Souldoll has branched out into the 50 cm size. Their clothing might fit. The only trouble is that their clothing sells out rather quickly. If the size becomes popular, you will find more clothing opportunities from other makers.

20. If I ever manage to get one, I'll start learning how to sew! I seem to be getting into dolls with weird proportions lately so it might not be a bad idea afterall... :B

21. Bluuuh I sure do wish these gorgeous boys were... y'know, possible to get. :[ Boo! I'm in love with Zest... haha...

22. Oh man, these are amazing.

23. I neve really really looked at these boys before... but they have a really nice looking body xD I love their slouch lol.

24. Ahhhh, can't believe I didn't know about these guys until recently! I'm in love with them both, very nice faces and bodies and my favorite size! Such a shame they were only released via limited lottery. What are the chances of them ever getting another release, has something similar happened before? I'm not very knowledgeable about how Unoa sales occur or if there is precedent ><

Found another blog with some pics while on a hunt to find full body shots: http://mmmanzyu.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-16.html

Turns out they're neuter.. a bit strange. Regardless, I hope one day to be able to get a chance at these lovely boys.

25. Crowtree, if they're like the 1.5 Unoa boys, they'll have an "option part" that owners can add if they want them to be anatomically correct. (The 1.5 boys had two versions -- relaxed and "genki"! There was a lot of giggling on DoA at that last one!)

I'm still hoping that Noppin will be able to sell them someday -- the 1.5 boys took forever to become available, but did eventually start being sold as regular kits. It took years, though. Unoa Zero is still being sold at multi-year intervals through special pre-orders, although this last pre-order (for "fairy skin") was less of a hassle than previous ones, and I think that everyone who wanted one was able to get one, rather than through a lottery.

I have a feeling that there will eventually be international pre-orders of these boys (I hope!!), but traditionally Alchemic Labo takes a while after the first production to sell dolls other than through lotteries/at events.

26. Ohh awesome to hear that, thanks so much for the info Ashbet! I hope these boys get a similar chance eventually, too! I can wait.

The body shown on that blog doesn't seem to have a slot for add-ons (:P) But maybe like a different lower torso or something? After becoming so used to anatomically correct adult dolls I feel sorta weird about that empty spot now, but I guess it's not a big deal in whatever the case may be, heh.

27. I actually like it lol, i always thought the guy bits just got in the way :P

But, i wonder how these guys look next to unoa zero, ive seen the photos next to the elder girls and they look okay. but i wonder about zero

28. I think some people may not have liked the slot (for one thing, it was easy to *lose* the "option part" if you didn't glue it in!), so he may have a glue-on bit of anatomical correctness -- or he may have decided to skip it, although since Araki-san is a notorious perv (in all the good ways), I'm inclined to doubt it! ;)

I think they'd be way too small next to a Zero -- the faceplate on a Zero *dwarfs* that of a regular Unoa, and these guys are more in-scale with the 43cm and however-tall-the-Elders-are sizes.

Here's a "family photo" from a while ago (need to take a new one now that I have an Elder!) -- for comparison, my Elder is a bit taller than my 2.0 girl (in back row.)

29. Man i really want one, but i dont want him to be out of scale lol! sadface

anyone find anymore owner photos? theres nothing on flickr i could find :(

30. Has there been any news about these guys? I'm looking for a friend for my Zaoll, and I think Xyle would be so adorable! ^_^

31. Lol i was trying to understand that lottery page, is that for JP only? Or international aswell?

32. JP only
we have not selected the correct birth place :)))

33. Ugh, I can't believe these guys are becoming available only after I've spent my doll money. If this lottery is for Japan only, there should be a few of each doll filtering down to services like Noppin soon. Need money! I'd better go list some more dolls on eBay...

34. :/ Well that's a shame, I dunno how/when I'd be able to get my hands on one of these.... It would be nice if I could manage it through Noppin... I guess we'll see.

35. Never participate to a unoa lottery before... But i love this guys so much! How can i buy one? It seems so complicated...

36. Kazuki, unless you have a friend in Japan, this one is going to be hard to get into. Noppin is a known shopping service for overseas clients, and they're not allowed to enter the Japan-only Unoa lotteries (I know, I asked!)

However, with patience, most Unoas have now become available through the webshop -- there's been a long wait for these boys, and there are no guarantees, but I will say that the last time I asked Noppin about an Alchemic Labo lottery, they said that they were specifically barred from entering.

Best wishes,

-- A <3

37. Plus, this current lottery seems to be for "B-grade" kits. I can't exactly remember what that entails, there's an explanation on the AL website. Iirc it's either that they're left over kits, or, which I think is more likely, they're a little off, i.e less quality than the standard kits...

I find myself wanting a Xyle more and more :(

ETA: or maybe they're saying they'll also have these B-grades available? I don't know why I picked out this specific info, but there is a clause right above the kit description, saying the price for a b-grade kit is ¥46.200

38. I ask to my friend in japan so we will see what happen, he will try the lottery. If i cant get one i will buy my f60 chloe boy. :) but i really hope i can buy zest i love him so much!

39. I was just wondering, have their been two releases for these boys but only ever for Japan? :/ When will we ever get a chance to buy one cause so far I haven't seen anything from Alchemic Labo bar the Japan exclusive lottery last year....and it's been nearly two years since we first saw these boys.

40. I know, i want more news too, i really want one :(

41. Whoa!!!

So yesterday, there was a doll event in my city, AL was in attendance! I got to handle an elder Zest, and OMG THEY ARE SO AWESOME!!

I also got a chance to chat with the staff a bit. From what I understand all series up until the elder boys are to be made more regularly available, but the elder boys are to remain hard to get. The lady I was speaking to said something one the lines of "event only" if I understood correctly. Sigh.

There were boys available yesterday, but I didn't have any cash!!

Here's a picture of my chibi next to an elder boy.

42. so beautiful, lucky you DaggerChan! Envy you, you could see those beauties alive :) are there any more photos of elder boys? :)

43. Daggerchan, can you tell me if the unoa boys are scaled more like a large msd or a small sd? Will they look strange with SD dolls?

It's samazing you got to see these boys in person. I've always wanted one.

44. [IMG]
This cool guy belonged to one of the vendors that was selling kimonos :)

Otherwise I find there are images available from Japanese collectors. I often do google image searches to check if there's anything new going on, using the terms "ユノア兄" or "ユノ兄". There still aren't too many owner pictures, but they are steadily increasing..

Sillypeach they'd be most appropriate with other mature minis, i.e. narae, MNF, etc. Their heads would look tiny next to SD, they take the same size eys and wigs as regular unoa. The doll I brought with me was my chibi, who is a 35cm tiny, and they were perfectly compatible. So I would say larger MSDs, even though I'm afraid they would look really strange next to regular child MSD size dolls too, on account of their headsize. :|

45. AL just posted that they're planning a general preorder for the elder boys later this year! No dates given yet but I'm going to guess it'll be sometime around autumn?

FINALLY these guys will be made available!! :D

46. OMG, I've been stalking this thread since they came out and this is awesome! I hope Noppin will do international preorders!

47. just wondering if anyone can provide me with clear, high quality scans of all the instruction manuals that comes with the kit
so i can create an Assembly Guide at our http://unoa.in/ FAQ department..
please pm me here or email me at n66x[at]hotmail[dot]com, i will also be giving you credits ofcourse ^__^

48. Someone know where i can find clothes for this guy?

49. Maybe Soom's Idealian51? I think they're overall broader, but they're similar in scale.

Batchix has St. George and Orpheus, and their scale is similar (tall mature minis) . . . she might have some suggestions, and she sometimes makes clothing if her schedule allows.

Good luck!

-- A <3

50. Their size is 45 cm and zest is about 50 cm i think ( i dont have him home at this time ) i think the pants will be too short

Thanks ashbet i will see for id51 clothes and ask to batchix too.

51. I love the unoa elder brothers' faces and bodies - except I was disappointed they don't have any boy bits. But I am sure other people will appreciate this, or it won't matter to them. There are preorders now for B-grade sets, and A-grade sets will be available for example through a shop called "kjtcollector" in October :D (I haven't bought from them ever, but my questions were answered swiftly and in detail).

52. I have an Unoa Elder Zest (decadent Zest faceplate + Xyle faceplate bought from a doll event) I bought from Japan last week while visiting there. I can take pictures of him besides Unoa 1.5 girl and boy, (I also have other slim mini dolls) Zaoll and a normal Volks SD for some comparison if you want. I'm pretty sure he won't be good-to-go boyfriends with Zaoll or SD sized dolls since he's really slender. He's kinda a beefy and taller version of 1.5 boy. I have no clothes for him but I'm thinking of commissioning a local seamstress to do him some clothing.

I can take pictures of him with other dolls too, I'm getting a Elder Sister Belia sometime soon, maybe in a couple of weeks. You can check my doll list if there is some doll you want to see a picture with. I have a friend who lives in my town and she has a Souldoll 50cm boy doll I think. I can ask if she can lend me him for some pics. :)

53. Pictures of Zest (& your Xyle faceplate) would be amazing, Giggy. Please share some :D...

54. Hello there,
i ordered these two guys in december with some faceplates in this KJTCollector Shop. What to say? The owner replied really fast and detailed and my Dolls and the Faceplates arrived bevore christmas.
I asked her...him....Junko ... i should have asked for the gender. Anyway. I ask the owner to unstring the Dolls and send them together in one box. It worked out really great. I'm so satisfied with this shop.
And the Dolls are great.
I tried some clothes and shoes. The good thing is, they fit MSD Clothes and Shoes quiet well. The Clothes need to be a little wider. The trouser was a little snug around the waist and of course a little short. Every shoe i have fit great. For fun i thried my eraserslippers and it kind of fit too.
I made a quick snap with some clothes/shoes i have left.
Sorry for crappic. I can show them with my other Dolls too. I own 1 SD and some more Minis - Narae/Narin, Limhwa... the bigger Soulkid Body and the 50cm Soulvito.

55. i'm about to backflip off my bed, i made my first payment on a zest! i never thought i'd get him, and i will hopefully have him in a month or so. Froschschenkel - thanks for the tip on kjt collector, junko is a sweetheart and she answers questions super fast.
got a couple questions as well, what is the foot length? i am eyeing a pair of boots that are 6.5cm, do i need a bigger size? and how do 10mm eyes look in the default zest eyewells? 12mm might be a little too big for my tastes, but maybe mako eyes would do the trick? i'm just wondering if there's a lot of gapping. thanks for your time!

56. They have the same Feet size as the mini unoas. around 5,5cm. So you will definitly need no bigger size.
A crappic for you

About eyes. i haven't tried jet. I do it tomorrow or weekend ...if i don't forget it.
For now the eyes look right. I have to wait and see, when they have a proper Face Up.
