Shopping typical sales dates?

I haven't really ever noticed a schedule overall of company sales. The closest I can think of would be sales around holidays, but there are so many companies in so many countries that its hard to say anything specific. New Years or Lunar New Years would probably be the closest you'd get. Some companies will also do discounted sales when a new sculpt goes up, but that's not any kind of schedule anyone outside the company would know.

 

Uhhh yeah it's so variable with doll companies, some do it on like a seasonal schedule and others do it around new doll releases. As I remember, Xaga doll really doesn't do a bunch of sales honestly for all of their dolls. Just new ones get a slight discount. I think you can just order whenever with them.

 

I remember Xaga had a new body release related sale last may? june? But agreed with the above that they tend to do events depending on their new releases and not holidays.

Some companies do CNY/singles day/black Friday/December sales but it really depends. Looking at ACBJD through Wayback machine and noticing what the patterns are might help to see who discounts regularly perhaps? Or looking at bjd collectasy archives?

 

@mangameow usually the big events are around Christmas, Chinese New Year and sometime in the Summer. Use the search engine on DOA! If you look up (company name) event you might get an idea of when that company is holding sales.

Looking for "event" in the waiting room or the company threads also gets you results because people mention getting a doll or feeling tempted on those occasions.

 

Sometimes companies hold anniversary sales, as in the anniversary of their founding!
