I still haven't finished my other doll, but I wanted to make a couple of smaller dolls of my brothers' characters to give to them for Christmas. So I don't have a lot of time to work on them. :dead Here they are so far. I'm not far, but it's a start! :XD They will probably be about 9 and a half inches tall when they're finished. Maybe a little taller. View attachment 573 View attachment 574 One of them has already been cut in half and taken off of the core, the other is still drying. I used the same core on each of them, so I don't really know why one is so much bigger. Maybe it shrinks a lot? o.o I know I'm going to feel left out on Christmas day when they get these and I don't get one. But making three sounds unrealistic..
Thank you! I'm pretty sure they'll like them! Now that they're both dry they're about the same size. I never knew the clay would shrink so much.
Thank you, Sleep of Reason! Here's the progress so far. I don't like their faces like, at all. So they totally need work. And the waist joints don't fit together great yet, so I need to fix that as well as making limbs and fitting them to the body. And I have to paint them and make hair. All in 13 days or less. I'll be busy! View attachment 577
There are only a few days left until Christmas. I need to finish!! Here they are so far. I want to thicken them up a bit. They're looking too thin right now. And I have to finish their hands and make feet. Then paint them and I'll be done!(aside from some sewing unless I can find something they fit in) View attachment 581 View attachment 582 View attachment 583
