************************** The SimCam: Film and Digital Camera Simulator - Photonhead.com This link is DEFINITELY worth checking out! For those of you beginners that are trying to understand how aperture/f-stop, shutter speed and ISO (film speed) all work together, I highly recommend you try this online camera simulator! This isn't quite a tutorial but I thought it's still equally helpful, especially for those members that got a DSLR for Christmas and are a little intimidated by it! Ten Tips For Your New dSLR http://www.pixelpoppin.com/camera/ This simulator is really good for trying to figure out what combo of ISO/F-stop(aperture)/shutter speed to use when you're shooting. Definitely try the Aperture Priority mode as it will show you how to blur out the background or get everything in the background in focus with the subject.
I'm sorry if I'm not allowed to post here, but I have another great resource for digital cameras... http://digital-photography-school.com/blog/ They have a new blog every day, and a ton of old ones with really great information. Sometimes you find a tutorial on there, but mostly it's information you just read. Edit// Oh, and you can subscribe to them so they send you the link to the new blog everydaay so you don't forget ^__^
