Wearables Tried making a feather wig

I would have never thought to use feathers! That, my friend, is so original! I like it!!!

Now I am curious how you put it together? Glue? Hard cap? Very cool!

 

Genius! It looks really cool and sooooo unique. I love the concept of using feathers. (Shhhhh...... don't tell my pet chickens!)

Aaaah this looks fantastic! I've wanted a feather wig for my doll for ages but don't know how to go about it.

That is so cool, I've never seen any one do that before! Its got so much potential. It might be fun to try feathers with some beads or even a feather+mohair wig. It also might be interesting to try making an up-do hair style with feathers.

 

I absolutely love the color choice as well! Everything about this looks so natural despite it being made of feathers and being blue/black xD if that makes sense

 

That is amazing and very inspirational! It turned out amazingly well!
I think my only suggestion is that you may want to clip the tip of that one exposed feather shaft, since it appears very white against the grey feathers. May may give it a more complete hidden look if you do. Just a suggestion, of course! Doesn't take away from how absolutely stunning the wig turned out! Great job over all and it's so cute! ♥

I always wanted to make a feather wig, it has been a project waiting in my list, but still not realized

Finding the right feathers looks hard enough, I mean the right size(s) for the head you're making the wig for, the right length, the right color... And then the right technique and angles to put them together! As far as I can see, your work looks excellent and like a good reference I'd need to look at when I'm making one in the future!

I quite like how you used the natural angles of the feathers, she looks very convincing that she indeed has feathers as hair on her head. And together with her face up and attitude, this wig seems to have transformed her into a sweet and macabre creature In my opinion, it was for the best when you got a wig in the wrong size, because she's way more unique now than any wig would make her
