Briefly describe your entry's concept:
Many little girls dream of being a princess. Princesses are powerful - they are beautiful, kind, magical, all their dreams come true, and they always live happily ever after. A pink princess dress is the perfect outfit for playing make-believe.


Materials used:
Purchased: Pink felt and some velcro
From craft stash: Pink satin and tulle, iridescent organza, pink/green ribbon, elastic beading thread, iridescent seed beads, gold star charm, chain, and jump rings, and sewing thread.

Briefly describe your entry's concept: The concept is a circus aerialist who feels the most powerful when she's performing- when she's literally on top of the world. The dragon design of her costume exemplifies the concept of power and flight.


Materials used: 4 fabrics for the unitard and slippers (purchased)
Hardened formed leather and fabric for the headpiece with horns made from painted wood screwed onto the leather (repurposed)
Painted kydex for the hand claws (repurposed).
