Justinian models his trenchcoat, in exchange for a chance to go outdoors. . Justinian will indeed go outdoors in the next photoshoot (I'm still editing the photos from that). Thanks for viewing
Is that a set you're using for your background, or are you just that good with camera angles and depth of focus? Looking at your photos, I was half-convinced you had an actual life-size doll. I'm a little in awe.
What an interesting sculpt! I love his plump lower lip! Great details on his new trench; looking smart! And @LectorEl is quite right about your edits and angles! Lovely photos!
Wonderful photos. Love Dollstown dolls and your guy is an oldie but a goodie. Sadly Mui has been gone for several years. Your guy looks fantastic! Thank you for sharing him here.
Thanks all for the kind comments! Thanks. No set, you're looking at the rest of my home in the last two photos. My smartphone (don't have a camera) can pull off some great shots in portrait mode, if I give it good lighting and stand the doll far enough from walls to have depth of field. I used a reflector (just some aluminium foil pasted on cardboard backing) to create better lighting for the pics against the white wall, and scooted around on hands and knees while taking photos. I kinda remember that Mui was never as popular as Hue; at least, I saw many more photos of Hue. But all these old DT sculpts are rare as hens' teeth now, so photos of any and all are welcome. Glad I've got Mui and can bring his sculpt back out to the light.
I had a Hue for 7 years and another one for two. Now both in new homes as my crew changed drastically about three years ago.
